Another spot tip - once or twice a week before you go to bed give yourself a sudacreme mask - just a thin layer and leave overnight...works miracles.

new to this thread I'm 8+4 weeks now. Have DD and DS but have also had 2 previous MCs. Am having pinky red discharge since last night and low down aches like mild period pain. Did bleed with both other babies but am totally paranoid that this is going to end in MC. This PG was unplanned and wasn't sure at first if I wanted it. But now totally want it and feel like I've jinxed it by being negative at first. Haven't sought any advice yet because feel if MC is going to happen it will. Sorry to be so negative, hope to have good news soon.

I got a letter today to say I have a booking appointment with the midwife. Do they do the 12 scan then too or do I need to chase that up seperately? I will be 12 weeks when I have the booking appointment.

Hello, another defectee from the March thread here, as scan put my edd as Sat 5 April (dh's birthday). I don't get it though, apparently I was 12 weeks pg yesterday, Tues 18 September. So how come my due date is 28 weeks and 4 days later? Do they add on a few days for good measure..?

Girls I am so vomity and shivery and miserable and tired I can hardly make myself be happy about this pg. Have lost 6lb in 3 weeks. So all this time I've been kidding myself I have a slow metabolism, it turns out I just eat too much!

Does seem odd. My due date is 4 April but I'm only 11 weeks 5 days today (Wednesday). Something doesn't quite add up there...

I've got the same dates as you lemonaid. Hadn't really calculated but as last time my dates and their dates were a week apart we will just have to wait and see.

Hi all and welcome to everyone new

I'm off for my "12 week" scan today but from reading your messades yesterday it may change!

I'm soooooooo nervous. Unfortunately my mc was discovered at this scan in january so until it's over I won't be happy! If all is OK I'm going to shout it from the roof tops! Half of me know's I'm being paranoid as I've had a few serious 'wind' pains but no bleeding and no reason to suspect anythings wrong but you just can't help it.

My waist line seams to be expanding dramatically although I think it has something to do with my diet and not Clive (the bean). And I too have a horrid spot that has just appeared on my top lip (yuk)!

Anyway wish me luck. It's my second wedding anniversary today too so I hoping that the hospital are going to confirm we have a very special present!

I'll check in later to let you all know how it goes.

lemonaid - I have the same dates as you too (11 +6 today) and EDD 04/04/08 ... scan on Tuesday . I just took their word for it and haven't bothered working anything out for myself

Haven't been on much as up til now have had very little 'get up and go', however this week things seem to be getting better with more energy and less nausea (hoorah).

Am hoping to finally get an appointment to see the doc about the HG thingy today, wird thing is , it seems to be getting worse and I'm nearly 12 weeks, surely it should be easing off by now??
Also had very dark coloured urine this morning so looking like I could be dehydrated after all, Was kinda hoping the couple of cans of pop a day I manage to keep down would've been enough to keep that at bay.
Oh well, fingers crossed.

Morning all. Welcome to all the newbies My 12 wk scan isn´t until the 8th Oct and time just seems to be dragging. Have to pick up blood test results & have got my dental apptmnt before then so that should keep me busy!! Oh, and have to arrange DS birthday party which I haven´t even started thinking about - oh dear!

Gangle - Lorayn and I will be waddling along together. It´s frightening to think how big I´m going to look full term {{sobs quietly}} A colleague of mine is further along than me & she´s positively skinny with a tiny neat bump. If she wasn´t so lovely I´d hate her

I've got a bit of a twiglets thing going on at the moment, I've already eaten a family sized bag this morning....bad huh !!! I've not put on any weight yet...but by tonight I think I might of.

I'm still constipated and eating raisins like there's no tomorrow....they are working a little but I'm longing to have a decent poo if you know what I mean ...tmi sorry girls !!!

I got the results of my blood tests back yesterday, it shows I'm not protected for rubella, which is a worry. It was the same when I was carrying ds, I was given a booster vaccine after i had him, but it seems from this recent result that I'm immune to the vaccine . All my other results were fine...they test for alot more now which they didnt 8 years ago, all good though.

I'm off to buy myself a decent Ladyshave today, I looked down last night and saw Chewbacca's legs attached to my body what's with all the hair??? The really fine hairs on my tummy seem to be standing vertically too....very weird.

Hi everyone, I haven't posted for a while as I've been madly busy. I had a dating scan on Monday and discovered I was already 11+6, so my EDD has moved to 1 April, yay! I'd managed to convince myself that something was going to go wrong this time and was delighted to see the wriggly little baby. The sonographer kept saying 'oh it's such a cute baby!'

Loryn and soph - I will be joining you waddling. Am feeling very fat already and am only 10+1. Went swimming last night and the ante-natal class was on and there was this woman who was sooo tiny I wanted to kill her. Or possibly cry. (Did neither but went home and ate some more chocolate - like that'll help )

Daftmoo - was moaning at my leg waxing lady yesterday that I am incredibly hairy - weird ones on tummy and round nipples - look like a yeti! She says she had that when she had her DD though and that they fall out no prob. So we will not be hairy forever.

Anyone feel like they;re blooming yet? Cos I ain't.

Lorayn, you probably don't want to hear that my friend with HG (we met at antenatal classes and our DCs were due a day apart) was throwing up severely throughout her pregnancy, right up to delivery, and was in and out of hospital for the first 5 months? No, I thought not... I think for a lot of people it doesn't last that long, though.

I am in a mixture of clothes at the moment (I have a few pairs of trousers that normally have huuuuge waists on me, and I can still wear those) but my jeans are definitely maternity. Mmmmmm comfy. I am finding it hard to believe that no one has twigged yet when I look at my belly. Still, only a few days to Monday (scan) and then, if all is well, I can come clean about it.

I don't think I ever bloomed last pregnancy, so I'm not knocking myself out waiting for it this time. I do have Lovely Hair, though (this is main perk of pregnancy for me, other than baby at the end). I never nested or got the "second trimester burst of energy", either.

ugh, I started a thread about HG a few days ago lemonaid, and there are quite a few MNers who were just as bad. My morning sickness with ym other tow never really stopped but it wasn't anywhere near this bad. I haven't even bothered with any dinner the last two nights because I just knew the second it went in my mouth I'd be running up to the bathroom. I'm living off about 3/4 cans of pop a day, and it's all I can do to keep them down
