OK - am going to take the plunge and start one...anyone coming?

SOunds about right. My m/w phoned and cancelled my appt at 8 weeks, because she said she only need the name of the hospital I wanted to go to. Now she's got that info, she doesn't want to see me until 20th November!

Mum07 , I think it is a bit odd, but sometimes you have to go after these things because you're probably just a number.
doesn't mean that you can't explain the situation to them and that you would like a little more attention and get an appointed sorted ASAP.

Thanks smcg, that does make me feel a bit better. I guess the chances of another ectopic are statistically low enough for them not to get in a tizz about me but I've been really fobbed off by my local hospital in the past (sent me home as having miscarried before i returned and they realised it was ectopic) and so it's difficult not to take it really personally and feel like they're doing a very poor job.

I've got a working-class, head down, don't make a fuss chip on my shoulder that i really ought to shake off, you're right though loisstella, i should just ring up. I WILL just ring up!

Maybe you could call the doctor and ask him/her to chase it up? I am going to do that towards the end of next week, if I haven't heard anything.

Mum07 MW didn't contact us, we had to make an apointment ourselves- far easier! First appt was quick, but I ahve a longer booking appt at home Tuesday, at 12 weeks

I had a missed m/c before this pregnancy where it was only discovered at the 12 weeks scan.

Good Luck with the tests and I hope they find a solution for you!

I'm starting to get really nervous about the scan next Thursday too - I will be 12+1. A few people know now so I am just hoping that everything is OK - I might even start to enjoy myself after that

Thanks for all your well wishes - really appreciated.

Mum07 - you need to get to the docs and kick some butt and get a scan sorted. Its terrible you haven't been seen yet as you will be very scared at the moment. I had an ectopic last Christmas and I have been very well looked after this time despite having a missed m/c.

Hi all. It's been a very quite weekend here!

I'm have a feeling like a stitch on my left side of my stomach. I've had it since last night and it hasn't got any worse but it's still sore. It might just be streching but wanted to know if anyone else had any of these feelings?

I know it's not etopic as I've had scans.

SOunds like stretching, hot water bottle and an early night?

DS1 in full meltdown mode today and ds2 possibly having a hospital trip as a result (head knocked against wall), waiting to see

I've been getting a stitch type pain too, high up though.

According to my scan I'm 11 weeks today

Well, I've finally broken the new to my parents and they were thrilled my sister was a bit off and just said, well if it's what you want then I'm happy for you and changed the subject (WTF???!! )I've learnt to ignore her snide remarks....hey ho !!!

I'm still feeling very sick and not able to cope with meals as such, I just snack throughout the day....celery and crisps today

dp has said I'm looking pregnant now and I have to say I am, proper belly and big boobs ...lol

Anyhow, hope you're all doing ok

managed oven chips and crisps today but hey ho, am doing my best (ate laods more but didnt stay down)

Peachy - I've been so lucky so far...not actually been sick (yet) with ds it was so different, by this time I'd already been in hospital twice to be rehydrated. I really feel for you and hope your hypermeresis passes v soon.

UGH SICKNESS!! My latest thing is not being able to drink from glass! I don't know why but all I can drink is fizzy drinks,and now the smell of glass makes me wretch, no matter what I wash them with or how much I rinse them they all smell really strange, so I am having to buy cans of pop to drink!! I can hardly eat anything at all, except curry's and burgers, and ready salted crisps. Weird.
