ShiningStarz · 01/02/2020 19:26

I am so sorry @Babytrain89. Thinking of you and sending you a hug x

Babytrain89 · 01/02/2020 20:06

Thank you everyone for your kind messages!
Im going to back out of this thread but wish you all happy and healthy journeys! X

Maybebaby2 · 01/02/2020 22:24

So sorry Babytrain89 xx

ShiningStarz · 02/02/2020 09:55

Morning everyone.

I’m feeling very sad for baby train. Just hope she is ok and sending lots of love her way 💕

I’m 8w 2d today. I’m very nervous for my scan on wed. I have slightly sore boobs and tired but that’s it and I’m very worried that my symptoms are disappearing. I guess ill know either way in a few days.

Hope everyone else is doing ok x

Roxy8203 · 02/02/2020 10:25

@ShiningStarz I'm also very sad for her, I've been there and it's shit. I hope she will be ok and get her rainbow 🌈

This is my first but I think symptoms are supposed to change and come and go, that's why by the second trimester a lot of the early symptoms have gone. There are a lot of hormones involved in baking a baby and they change all the time

Dipsy77 · 02/02/2020 10:45

I'm having a major panic at the minute. The only symptoms I've had are morning sickness and headaches and as of yesterday they seem to have disappeared. I've been using sea bands so I've just taken them off to see if it makes a difference. I'm really worried I haven't had sore boobs at all in my last pregnancy they were so sore at this point. I've just rung the EPU in a bit of a state and I've to go in and see them first thing tomorrow x

emma278 · 02/02/2020 10:46

@ShiningStarz I feel exactly the same. Am so upset for Baby train and its really got to me. I have my scan tomorrow so i guess ill know either way. Its just such an anxious time xx

Sunshinexx95 · 02/02/2020 12:26

@Babytrain89
I am so sorry for your loss... It broke my heart :(
But you have to be strong and don't give up

Sunshinexx95 · 02/02/2020 12:29

Hi everyone,
I have had no symptoms at all.. I went to the scan and everything looked perfect. You shouldn't worry about symptoms disappearing because it is very normal. I was worried to death that something was wrong. I have nothing not even sore boobs. I feel better than ever. And my midwife said I am a lucky one. But sometimes I need so reassurance .. hehe i did the scan on Friday and trust me I don't think we will ever stop worrying even after giving birth

anotherypasswordtoremember · 02/02/2020 13:30

My mate had no early symptoms at all and get baby was fine. She has no nausea, no sore boobs, didn't once. She was just a bit sleepier than normal.

If you're worried of course get things checked out, but try to stay calm as possible. Deep breathing and some relaxing thoughts (I also recommend Anne with an E on Netflix for maximum escapism).

I think if we've suffered loss which ever way we feel causes worry. I feel f*ING horrendous and am worried I'm got a folate deficiency meaning I've caused horrible damage which I won't know about until the abnormality scan. Either that or I've got an as yet undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy. Or internal bleeding from my blood thinners.

anotherypasswordtoremember · 02/02/2020 13:40

So many typos in my comment above! How it's decipherable.
My mate basically had zero symptoms and had a standard pregnancy with a healthy Bambino at the end.
All I mean is by all means get checked if you're worried, but our bods are all really different so lack of symptoms doesn't mean game over xx

anotherypasswordtoremember · 02/02/2020 13:43

Also Anne with an E is a very good distraction Smile

OrDis · 02/02/2020 16:53

Hey all, I spent a few hours in A&E last night as had some red spotting. They couldnt scan me then so I’ve got to go back to EPU tuesday. I have a bit of thrush at the moment so i’m trying to stay positive and hoping the bleeding was just to do with that. It’s stopped now so thats something.

Seahawk80 · 02/02/2020 20:42

Hi everyone, I've been v quiet and I actually left the Facebook group because I went for a scan 2.5 weeks ago when I was 6+6 - adujusted for my cycle after some bleeding and although there was a pregnancy sac it was only measuring 4-5 weeks so I thought everything was over. They said to come back in 2 weeks and I went on Tuesday just expecting confirmation that things hadn't developed. Got a huge shock when there was a baby with a heartbeat!! I'm now 8+6 and still in shock. They said I probably ovulated late in my cycle.

I'm still a bit worried and having had a TMFR this summer I am still nervous about the 12 week scan but I feel lucky to have a second chance. I have another scan at 10 weeks so at least that should show if there are any issues with baby developing. I haven't had a chance to properly catch up on the thread yet - I'd actually hidden the last one but just wanted to say hi I'm back!!

Sunshinexx95 · 02/02/2020 21:01

@Seahawk80
Great news !! I am so happy for you :D i wish you a very healthy pregnancy and let's stay positive. I was on my scan on Friday and I was measuring 8+3. So today I am 8+5. I am having my next scan at 6th of March so that is more than a month ahead 😭

anotherypasswordtoremember · 02/02/2020 21:44

Do you guys mind me asking about these 6 and 8 week scans? Have you been doing them privately or are they on the NHS in your areas?

emma278 · 02/02/2020 22:01

@anotherypasswordtoremember mine is private. Ultrasound direct. £70.
@Seahawk80 fantastic news! So pleased for you. So lovely to hear a nice outcome like that.

Roxy8203 · 02/02/2020 22:26

@anotherypasswordtoremember as emma said they are private and I think you can have them from about week 6 onwards.

ShiningStarz · 03/02/2020 11:21

Thanks @Roxy8203 hope you are doing ok.

@OrDis I hope you are ok. I had brown spotting for a week but it also just stopped. We would be missing our second period now and iv read a bit of bleeding can happen around this time strangely.

@Seahawk80 fab news!! ❤️

@emma278 is your scan today? Hope al is good, I’m sure it will be. Mine is on wed 🤞x

emma278 · 03/02/2020 11:23

@ShiningStarz its this afternoon! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

ShiningStarz · 03/02/2020 11:33

@emma278 I’m sure your nervous and excited all at the same time!!! Excited for you. ❤️🤞

Roxy8203 · 03/02/2020 11:36

Hi @ShiningStarz, I'm doing fine, no more symptoms to report, just sore boobs and last week I had trapped wind 💨 which was uncomfortable but it sounds much easier than what some of the ladies are having to go through. Seems like such a long way off until my 12 weeks scan, I want to see my baby again

ShiningStarz · 03/02/2020 11:53

I know @Roxy8203 the weeks are going too slow!! When is your 12 week scan?
I really need the reassurance this Wednesday that all is ok. Then maybe I can look forward to the midwife appt and dating scan. I need time to hurry!!!! So impatient!! X

Roxy8203 · 03/02/2020 11:56

@ShiningStarz my 12 week is 24th Feb so three weeks today but it's going so slowly. I'd love another one before then but it's a lot of money to keep paying out
