Thanks @Roxy8203 and @ShiningStarz Smile

I really hope so. I'm just worrying about all the other stuff now like it developing properly.

HugeAgeGap · 01/02/2020 08:57

@anotherypasswordtoremember congratulations! I am also struggling and just want to curl up and die, the nausea is making me miserable and having a massive impact on life and work. I went to the GP yday and he did a health check and thinks everything fine but no point taking meds until throwing up more, thinks just stay off work until better. I feel really guilty missing work though and letting everyone down, plus no one knows so have just been struggling on and getting really depressed!! I hope your symptoms ease soon xx

emma278 · 01/02/2020 09:04

Sorry you are feeling so rubbish @HugeAgeGap i know the work guilt all too well. I am feeling very anxious today as I feel super normal. Have my early scan Monday so atleast ill know one way or another i guess. Xx

anotherypasswordtoremember · 01/02/2020 09:04

@HugeAgeGap aw nuts! I've not puked yet but I feel like I'm about to all day everyday!
I took this week off work because I could barely do anything but I'm going to have to power through next week. I only started my job in January and need to make a good impression because I'm on a contract that finishes when I'm 5 months! Extra stress. Urgh.
GP signed me off for another two weeks but I don't think I can take it.

LatteLover12 · 01/02/2020 09:12

My sickness has definitely got worse overnight/this morning.

I feel like there's a 'smell' everywhere. I feel like even breathing in is making me nauseous.

I'm going out tonight 😩 I can't cancel because it's a friend who I haven't seen in months and she's travelled to see us. I can't tell her I'm pg as she's just had a mc. It's going to be a tricky evening.

ShiningStarz · 01/02/2020 09:15

@emma278 don’t worry I’m symptomless too!!! ❤️

emma278 · 01/02/2020 09:26

@ShiningStarz thankyou! Even sore boobs gone? Im just so scared for Monday! 😩

Jane131 · 01/02/2020 09:37

Is anyone else really up one minute and then next low? It's just so many mixed emotions and I find myself crying at animal adverts on TV or anything involving babies.

Finally got confirmation of my booking appt/NHS scan, will be when I'm just turning 12 weeks. Havnt seen anyone except my GP, all they did was a pregnancy test. So I'm very tempted to book an early scan, just to take away some of the worry.

Does anyone know when we need to start watching what side we sleep on? Alot of mixed reports online about it.

ShiningStarz · 01/02/2020 10:02

@emma278 my boobs are a little sore but nowhere what they were!! I read at this stage they should be bigger 🤔 I asked my partner last night and he said nope they are the same! Arghhh!! I’m a 34C anyway so not wishing to be bigger 🤣 roll on next scan on Wed for me 🤞

emma278 · 01/02/2020 10:10

@ShiningStarz mine are the same too i think! Its so worrying isnt it!!! Xx

ShiningStarz · 01/02/2020 10:14

We are just the luck ones @emma278 ❤️

HugeAgeGap · 01/02/2020 10:30

@anotherypasswordtoremember I understand the contract difficulties. We are just about to go through a re structure and my colleague who shares half my workload finished on Friday so if I go sick there so much work that won't get done which will be bad for my manager and won't look good on me going through restructure and applying for jobs. However the GP wasn't sympathetic to employer at all and just insisted to take time off so I think that's what u need to do!

@emma278 thank you. I'm sure it's normal to feel normal and have symptoms come and go. Although the nausea is permanent for me, the sore boobs definitely come n go so I wouldn't worry about that symptom vanishing and coming back again.

Samk79 · 01/02/2020 10:33

Hello ladies, hope we are all doing okay

I got referred to Epu during the week due to cramps and spotting. They did a scan which showed a heartbeat! Dated me at approx 6 weeks. I had a mmc last year so have been struggling so far with worrying.
I do feel pretty rubbish, sick one min then hungry the next. Also so tired but can't sleep. I started a new job on Monday which has been full on and I ended up with a migraine yesterday.
Hope everyone has a good weekend xx

NameChange30 · 01/02/2020 14:36

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing ok, big congrats to Sunshine on your fantastic scan news! Smile

I stepped back from the previous thread as I was struggling morale-wise (due to PGP) and struggling to keep up with it all.

I was wondering if anyone who already has at least one child would be interested in joining a chat? I've started one here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/birth_clubs/3811430-Pregnant-with-second-or-third-fourth-etc-baby-due-in-around-September-2020

Anyway I will check in here from time to time to see how everyone is doing. Wishing you all well!

ShiningStarz · 01/02/2020 15:35

@Babytrain89 hope everything is ok xx

anotherypasswordtoremember · 01/02/2020 15:46

Urgh I still feel horrendous. I'm on day 6 of being stuck in bed.
It's a mixture of muscle and joint pain all over, unrelenting nausea, cramps, dizziness (I can only really stumble to the bathroom and back) and breathless. And total exhaustion. It feels like flu but I'm not getting any better.
This morning I really tried to be normal but couldn't stand up long enough to make pancakes! Was on the sofa and felt so horrendous I had to come back to bed. Been in bed 5 hours now.
I did manage to see a GP yesterday and he's telling me this is normal?! Wtf!
I can barely do anything other than drink water and get to the bathroom.
I'm 8 weeks.

Roxy8203 · 01/02/2020 16:02

@samk79 sorry to hear your having a tough time and all that extra pressure of work doesn't help. I hope everything goes well

@anotherypasswordtoremember I think I'd get a second opinion if I were you, that doesn't sound normal to me but I don't know much about these things. Hope you feel better soon

HugeAgeGap · 01/02/2020 16:18

@anotherypasswordtoremember lots of your symptoms sound normal to me. I have constant nausea from waking up to going to bed at night. Am also absolutely exhausted, sleeping is the only thing that makes everything go away. I also have dizziness and hot then cold flushes. I too have spent the day in bed and don't have the energy to move or do anything. I've lost about half a stone in weight in the last few weeks.

I don't have the cramps though or the muscle ache/flu symptoms xxx

HugeAgeGap · 01/02/2020 16:19

Just to add I'm 8w today x

ChipsAreLife · 01/02/2020 16:54

Hi guys,

Another one suffering here too. Feel like I've run a marathon everyday this week. Nauseated constantly, gone off all food bar chips, pasta and bread! Ugh!!! I have to just get on as got two young DC and run my own business. I've been in bed since 3, will help get kids to bed and come back!!!

@Samk79 hope you're ok, sounds like you've been reassured at least?

@anotherpasswordtoremeber I would maybe give them a call back, it could be iron deficiency perhaps?

@namechange I'll come say hello!

I've been thinking of previous pregnancies and my symptoms have got worse each time. I think a lot of it is down to rest and if i don't get enough I feel dreadful. For those of you with less symptoms please don't worry I was fine in my first one too! I remember I was on hen weekends weeks 6 and 8 and was out late in bars etc! I went to Paris at in between and was pretty fine too! I now spend my weekends in soft play 🤦‍♀️

8 weeks today 🥳

Hi all,

Sadly not ok and not good news. There was no heartbeat and baby stopped growing at 6+2. Absolutely distraught.

NameChange30 · 01/02/2020 18:06

So sorry Flowers

LatteLover12 · 01/02/2020 18:24

Oh no @Babytrain89 I'm so so sorry.
