Fab news @Chanel05 so pleased for you ❤️

@Sunshinexx95 you will be fine tomorrow, it’s all looking good ❤️

@emma278 that’s great!! All will be great for you on Monday too!!
I’m 38 and have had many years of failed ivf cycles.. I used to believe I would meet be one of those girls with the big folder!! I think I’ll cry more are that than at my next scan!! In my case miracles can happen ❤️

ShiningStarz · 30/01/2020 20:43

*never be one of those girls I mean!!

Babytrain89 · 30/01/2020 21:10

@Sunshinexx95 best of luck for tomorrow!
I have my scan saturday and I am so so nervous. Got a bit of backache tonight which im hoping is normal...just a niggle really! Feeling super tired.
Hows everyone else getting on. 8 weeks tomorrow....which feels like a milestone...just wish I could shake the feeling of gloom! I think its a self defense mechanism!

ShiningStarz · 30/01/2020 21:23

@Babytrain89 I’m with you with the feeling of gloom!!!!
Good luck for sat :)
I’m 8 weeks on sat 😊
So nice we are all pretty close together with our EDDs

ShiningStarz · 31/01/2020 06:59

Enjoy the scan today @Sunshinexx95 xx

OrDis · 31/01/2020 08:36

Hope scan goes well @sunshinexx95 mine isn't until a week Monday! Can’t come quick enough but i’m a bit behind the rest of you I think as only 6+4 today. Time goes so slow! I am so knackered at the moment. I am literally dragging myself out to work, being barely functional, dragging myself home again and then crashing on the sofa for the rest of the evening. I don’t know how you ladies who already have kids do it! Your superhero's!!

Sunshinexx95 · 31/01/2020 12:52

Hi guys
Strong heartbeat 😭😭😭😭😭 she said I am 8+3

emma278 · 31/01/2020 13:27

So so so happy for you @Sunshinexx95 how wonderful! X

Roxy8203 · 31/01/2020 13:32

@Sunshinexx95 looks great. Hope you feel better now and can try to trust your body knows what it's doing and your just lucky with the symptoms

LatteLover12 · 31/01/2020 13:35

Excellent news @Sunshinexx95 ❤️❤️

I got a date for a booking in appointment this morning on the 19th. I'm planning to book an early scan for a couple of days before that. Roll on February!

Currently on the sofa after inhaling a McDonald's at the local shopping centre. 🐷 🤮

Maybebaby2 · 31/01/2020 13:37

Great news on the scans @Chanel05 and @Sunshinexx95 😃

I've gone from one extreme to another, up to Tuesday I felt absolutely normal, no symptoms at all! The last 3 days I have felt horrible, so nauseous and exhausted with killer headaches, I am barely functioning. All I can do to stop the nausea is eat and I can't keep my eyes open if I sit down for even a second so all I've done is eat and sleep... alongside working and looking after my 2 year old.... oh it's been fun! 😭

LatteLover12 · 31/01/2020 14:05

Those of you who've had 8 week scans - was it done on your abdomen or internally (fanjo-cam) ??

Roxy8203 · 31/01/2020 14:49

@LatteLover12 I had a scan at 8wks and it was external. Managed to take measurement and see the heartbeat. They offered internal but I declined

ShiningStarz · 31/01/2020 15:03

@Sunshinexx95 wonderful news!!! I hope you can relax now and enjoy having no pregnancy symptoms!!!

@LatteLover12 my first scan at 6w 3D was on my tummy and could see clearly.

LatteLover12 · 31/01/2020 15:32

Wow I'm amazed! I've always had to have fanjo cam at the EPU. Woop!

ShiningStarz · 31/01/2020 16:38

@emma278 and anyone else that travels for work, have you asked your gp or midwife about flying with the threat of corona virus?! I’m on 4 flights next week, all with uk. I’d rather not be travelling!!

emma278 · 31/01/2020 16:47

The midwife didnt seem concerned but our HR sent an email today saying travel is up to us at the moment. Im going to see how it develops over the weekend and then make a call. Im not so worried about the long flights as im sat upstairs and there are only 10 or so people but the short haul in the states are always rammed... xx

Maybebaby2 · 31/01/2020 18:36

@LatteLover12 howling at 'fanjo-cam'!! 😂😂😂

Babytrain89 · 31/01/2020 20:09

@LatteLover12 fanjo-cam is brilliant. Really made me laugh!!

@Sunshinexx95 ahh im so so pleased for you. Hope it has put your mind at ease!

Super scared for mine tomorrow! Really hope all is ok! Did they ask you guys to take anything with you?

Sparkle0920 · 31/01/2020 20:10

I had an early scan at 7+1 today and thankfully managed to see baby with a heartbeat straight away with abdominal scan, although I was warned that an internal could well be possible ☺️ it was so amazing to see, the most bizarre feeling!

anotherypasswordtoremember · 31/01/2020 20:33

Congratulations everyone.
I'm due my first mid September. Following a loss at the end of last summer I'm being cautiously optimistic.
I feel like shit and couldn't be happier about it! Would rather it hadn't kept me out of work for 3 days this week but oh well.

I feel sick all day, my hands and feet are going numb at night, I can only eat yellow/beige food and am waking up 4 times a night to pee.

Got midwives on Tuesday (I'll be 8 weeks) and I'll get my scan date through in the post after that.

Weirdly confident about my hospital choice because they handled my miscarriage so nicely. Really efficient, really kind, and very upfront about what's going on.

Oh and I'm on Clexane Smile Just in case anyone else is.

Roxy8203 · 31/01/2020 20:53

@anotherypasswordtoremember congratulations and welcome along. Your in the same boat as me. 1st baby and a MMC last July. It's scary isn't it but I'm feeling better about it this time. Had a private scan last weekend and all going well, I'm 9 wks today. If your interested we have a Facebook group called September September

ShiningStarz · 31/01/2020 21:36

Congrats @anotherypasswordtoremember wonderful news. I’v been through similar to you.

Your symptoms are very strong!! Most of us have barely any symptoms but have seen heartbeats so know all is ok.

@Babytrain89 enjoy your scan tomorrow.

I read on my app, by now we are missing our second period!!
