I suppose I’m thinking it’s coming to the end of flu season so the chances of getting the flu have fallen right down. The corona virus is the big one at the minute and could go on for months! With no vaccine it’s terrifying ☹️

How is everyone feeling?
I am so ill and tired and I have been off work for 2 days but I am too tired to go back. My nose is so blocked. I don't know if it is just a cold or if it is actually the flu. I didn't get vaccinated and it would be too late now I guess. I heard it isn't good to get the flue but I don't have fever now. I don't know what to do really. Trying not to worry.

So here is a question
I am visiting my parents in end of March and we want to reveal the gender with them. I would be 16+4. Do u guys think it would be possible to see the gender? I'm so excited and really want to do it with my parents. Won't have the opportunity to do it any other time till august 😭.

I don't know if you can see the gender that early on a scan. I know you find out with a blood test but that's expensive.

@Sunshinexx95 it sounds like what I had! Iv still got a cough and runny rose almost 2 weeks later!! I felt like death for 3 days. So hard without the meds ☹️

@ShiningStarz it is really killing me my entire body is aching 😭 and being pregnant doesn't help.
I feel like my body is breaking into pieces and I have never felt such an aching feeling over my entire body 🤧 I think it is because our immune system is so low right now. But hopefully we will be better soon 🌹

Hope you feel better soon @Sunshinexx95 maybe ring your gp if you don’t improve in the next day or 2.

@ShiningStarz I'm actually not overly concerned about Coronavirus for myself. It doesn't appear to affect the young or females as much as men over 60. Of course those with existing illness cardiovascular, respiratory and diabetes seem more vulnerable but even then the fatality rate is low. Im worried for my DF,DB and DMIL but I'm quite angry at the media as they're whipping everyone up into a frenzy, people are now panic buying antibacterial handgel so that others can't get any. but if you read the data most people experience very mild symptoms. I'm more concerned about the impact on the economy and it leading to a crash. I was pregnant during the 2014 Ebola outbreak, that used to keep me awake at night.

Sorry you got me on a rant there!

Good morning, the sickness is starting to come and go in waves now rather than just all day so fingers crossed it's on the up!

Eek, i hope your scan goes well on Friday, i have mine next Thursday but 2 exams to contend with this week so i just can't wait to get them out of the way - oh the joys of studying in your 30's!

I am having an amazing day today, full of energy, no nausea, no sickness, no headache, no fatigue! I feel absolutely normal and its great, long may it last! 🤞🤞🤞 Been so up and down with this pregnancy its literally like a rollercoaster! Scan a week tomorrow, can not wait! Hope everyone else is doing good 👍 @Sunshinexx95 hope you feel better soon @ChipsAreLife hope the week goes quickly for you 🤞 Still can't believe we are all pretty much at the 12 week stage already! 😃

Hi @ChipsAreLife it ya very worrying in health and the economy. I’m in the process of buying a house. Sale is going to complete in April. Super nervous at the potential negative effect on housing market.

My scan and first hospital appt is tomorrow! Excited and scared!! It’s been 4 weeks since our last private scan. I hope little one has been growing away!!

@ShiningStarz yasssss to the scan. Are you morning or afternoon? Baby will have changed so much in four weeks! I'm literally on countdown for mine. Oh god it's so stressful buying a house at the best of times, I think this will weather out though and the economy always bounces back. Got everything crossed the house move goes well.

Just did my first bit of exercise in a month, eased into it with Pilates but felt really good so going to hit the cardio tomorrow. I dare say I feel like energy is gently returning 🙏
