@Lilice we had a private abdominal scan last week at 9 week..... TWINS!!!!

Booked in for a NHS scan tomorrow (10+1), assuming it will be another abdominal scan. Our 9 week scan is so clear!

ShiningStarz · 26/02/2020 17:13

Congrats @Lorna198 and @Bubble29
Wow at the twins!! Identical or non identical? Or maybe too soon too tell?

Chanel05 · 26/02/2020 17:34

@Lilice I had a scan at 10+3 on Saturday and it was abdominal.

Lazydaisydaydream · 26/02/2020 17:44

@Bubble29 congratulations Grin twins!! Did you have any idea before the scan?

Lazydaisydaydream · 26/02/2020 17:46

@HugeAgeGap I am dairy free due to still breastfeeding my son who is CMPA so I might check with the dietitian if there's anything I need to supplement with as obviously not able to eat my normal full diet Grin

Bubble29 · 26/02/2020 18:12

@Lazydaisydaydream @ShiningStarz
Thank you! Total shock! It still hasn't sunk in tbh. My husband kept it to himself but thought it maybe twins as in showing already and have been stuffing really bad with sickness etc. He downloaded an app and in one the days it was describing carrying twins- he noticed them straight away on the scan!

They're in their own sacs but we couldn't tell if they're sharing a placenta or not, hopefully we will see tomorrow!

@Bubble29 how amazing, twins!!! Congrats!!

Lilice · 26/02/2020 20:09

@Chanel05 thank you. Hopefully it will abdominal for me too this time, didn't really the internal one ( I guess who would anyway?)

Maybebaby2 · 27/02/2020 20:47

Hi all wow it's been busy on here 😃 Congrats on all the scans and wow @Bubble29 twins how amazing!

I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and morning sickness has kicked my arse this week! The other week it was chronic fatigue, then I had a pretty good week. Then Tuesday night bam! I'm so so sick, thought it was a bug at 1st cos I've only had nausea up to now and managed it by continuous eating. I can't bare the thought of food now an have only nibbled the last few days. Thought it should be getting easier now not worse??!!

HugeAgeGap · 27/02/2020 22:09

@Maybebaby2 I got worse again at 11w but today at 11+5 I actually feel a bit better, so could be a temporary blip!

ShiningStarz · 28/02/2020 08:22

@maybebaby2 I started getting nausea at 10w 4d!! It’s seems to have settled now, I’m 11w 6d! Constantly felt weird like I wanted to be sick but I wasn’t. Only 4 sleeps to go until the big scan.

emma278 · 28/02/2020 11:22

Hi Girls,

Awwwww @emma278 so pleased for you!! I love the presentation card for the scan pic!!! I find it hard to believe there’s a peanut growing in me!! Next week will make it all so real 🤞❤️

Maybebaby2 · 28/02/2020 19:49

Great scan @emma278 congratulations! 😃

Thanks @HugeAgeGap and @ShiningStarz sounds like this might be the same as you two and hopefully it will pass just as quickly🤞

Sipperskipper · 28/02/2020 20:00

Hello! I was initially on this thread but sort of dropped off....would love to rejoin! Due date 5th September. Have had 12 week scan and harmony test - we are having another girl (already have a brilliant nearly 3 year old DD!)

Glad to see lovely scan pics, and twins, amazing!!

Roxy8203 · 28/02/2020 21:10

@emma278 congratulations.
Hi @Sipperskipper, I was considering the harmony but my results can back fine so haven't but I'd love to know what we are having. Congrats on the little girl

emma278 · 28/02/2020 21:26

Thanks for all the lovely messages! And sending lots of love for all those coming up. Id love to join the fb group now how do i do it?! Xx

ShiningStarz · 29/02/2020 08:15

@Roxy8203 I think I’m getting the harmony Test but don’t want to know the sex!
Happy Saturday everyone!! Another flipping storm ☹️

ShiningStarz · 29/02/2020 09:35

For all the ones that have had your 12 week scans... have you told your work yet?
I’m not sure when / how I’m going to tell work!

emma278 · 29/02/2020 09:36

@ShiningStarz i had told a few senior people anyway, but ill make it public knowledge at work next week. To be fair im starting to show in the afternoons anyway so i wouldnt be able to hide it for long xx

ShiningStarz · 29/02/2020 09:43

Thanks @emma278 I’ll probably tell my work the end of next week. I don’t work from an office so I need to make sure my boss can meet me for a cuppa somewhere🙈

ShiningStarz · 29/02/2020 09:44

Did any of you reject the flu vaccine? I’m expecting the midwife to bring it up at my appt on tues.. I’m not keen!

HugeAgeGap · 29/02/2020 10:12

I rejected it x

ChipsAreLife · 01/03/2020 07:20

Congrats @bubble! What a shock but so lovely. I'm an aunty to twins and they are gorgeous.

@emma congrats too!

@Sipperskipper welcome back! Congrats on scan and yah to date being moved forward.

@ShiningStarz I had the flu jab all three times, it's never affected me. I've had flu before and can't imagine how crap it would be getting it pregnant so wanted to minimise that risk. I believe loads of people don't take it though so expect MW won't say anything.

How's everyone feeling? I've been feeling sick and tired again. Solo parenting is getting to me too, I just want a lie in and not to be woken at night 😅

Not long till my scan on Friday now, ten weeks I'll have waited to see my little buddy. Just trying to keep positive and hope all is ok. 🤞

@ShiningStarz it's your choice to have the vaccine or not. They can only advise it so don't worry about them forcing you.

I have had it every year since I was first pregnant though. Honestly it is horrendous being sick and being pregnant (and even worse then having to look after a baby when you're not well Sad) I can't imagine coping with having the flu!!
