@Ginny1234 we had the exact same birth. My doctor fell over my blood and I don't care, love of my life.

Oh wow I thought I had had a busy week but amazing 3 babies ❤️❤️❤️ congratulations wonderful ladies

cliare · 06/02/2020 20:47

Oh look at these gorgeous babies! Congratulations all!

Does that make me the first to go 'over' then? Am not good at this part (was 9 days with my first).... Everyone is telling me how enormous and high my bump is. Have decided to pretend I'm not pregnant and only do nice things! Can't quite shift the knowledge that all the while she's growing bigger and bigger tho! 😬😅

hazandduck · 07/02/2020 01:15

Ah congratulations @Ginny1234 and @FirstTimeDS your births sound so tough, well done both of you! What beautiful boys! We named baby tonight finally, her name is Cleo Dorothy Paris.

Currently in the throes of shredded nipple tongue tie hell!! Identical to how it was with my older DD. We have a referral to get it snipped on Monday thank god so I’m doing a mix of expressing, agonised latching, and formula until then!

I hope everyone who has their babies is doing well, and everyone else isn’t waiting too much longer or too uncomfortable 😊❤️

Cupcakes1234 · 07/02/2020 01:21

Big congratulations to you ladies who have had your babies! I'm currently in hospital with Induction being started first thing in the morning. They've diagnosed me with Cholestasis and because I'm nearly 39 weeks they want baby out

hazandduck · 07/02/2020 01:25

Oh @Cupcakes1234 so they did diagnose you finally! You suspected you had OC for a while didn’t you, I had symptoms of it first pregnancy and remember how fraught a time it was. I will be thinking of you and hope the induction goes swiftly and smoothly, not long and baby will be here with you x

Cupcakes1234 · 07/02/2020 01:46

Yeah officially diagnosed now. My levels were 12 last week (they diagnose at 14) my repeat bloods from Wednesday were showing my bile acids to be 23. I'm scratching myself raw so the relief is welcome but i wasn't expecting it to happen tonight. Thought I'd get a few days notice. Thank you! I can't wait to meet her

hazandduck · 07/02/2020 01:50

Bless you poor thing I did the same, made myself bleed so much especially on my feet. The bile salts really jumped this last week then! Mine were just under 14 and then I had DD so I was like you, waiting for that diagnosis!
Scary as it is at least you don’t have time to overthink and you’ll meet your baby girl
Sooner.
My appetite has gone nuts since giving birth, I am craving so much high cal food your username has made me just want a massive cupcake with chocolate buttercream 🤣

Cupcakes1234 · 07/02/2020 04:28

It's torture the itching isn't it! The Pessary is in and the countdown is on. Midwife thinks today could be the day but we'll see. Lol I used to bake a lot of cakes and cupcakes but just haven't had the energy or desire in months. I am craving creme eggs though so think that'll be on a list for the OH to bring in on his way 😂

hazandduck · 07/02/2020 05:28

Best of luck; you’ve got this! Focus on the end goal...your creme egg - I mean your baby girl! 😄❤️ I focused on the big strong cup of tea I was going to have, silly I know but it’s all I was waiting for once the baby was out!

sulkysukey · 07/02/2020 06:20

Another baby girl born 5 Feb here. Back home now and settling into the hazy newborn bubble. Think I've had 3 hours sleep in 4 days 💤
@Cupcakes1234 hope the induction goes well. I was 38 weeks exactly and totally unfavourable but after 24 hours of the pessary they were able to break my waters and 3 hours later she was born!
Looking forward to hearing some more announcements 🙂

Soda123x · 07/02/2020 06:55

Congratulations to all the new mummies. The babies are coming thick and fast now !! Xx

LolaLollypop · 07/02/2020 15:30

Love seeing all these gorgeous new babies!!
Just got back from a growth scan and bubs is approx 6lb 6oz atm, expected 7lbs if I go to 40 weeks (next Sunday). So all good, they're happy with baby's growth. Also said the head is very low down... eeek! Currently bricking it but also excited to meet my no2 Smile

Quirkyquichie · 07/02/2020 15:40

Wow where did all these babies spring from?! Congratulations to you all. Only beginning of feb and a chunk have arrived already. Hope there rest dont have too long a wait

hazandduck · 08/02/2020 07:09

Congratulations @sulkysukey! Same here on the no sleep front!

It’s amazing really we are only one week in to February and there’s been an avalanche of lovely babies!

I’m currently on the day 3-4 wave of hormones where I am just so overwhelmed by how in love with Cleo I am! Just smiling and staring and crying at her! And telling DH after 8.5 months of me saying “Never again!” that actually I want at least 2 more babies and have forgotten everything I moaned about!

I hope everyone is well, can’t wait for more news x

Dweebette · 08/02/2020 07:38

Hope everyone is settling well with their lovely arrivals.
I'm still plodding along (literally). Noticed how slow I'm moving now and I have ballooned. Also pretty sure I've developed carpal tunnel in my fingers and wrists. One more week of work to get through then feet up and relax and hopefully I'll feel ready for baby to come out. Wondering if this is nature's way of making me ready to get rid of my pregnant body and welcome my little one as until now I've felt quite content to stay pregnant 😂

Congratulations on all the new babies 😊🥰 who's due date is next? Not that it seems to matter, these babies do what they like! I'm due on Friday and pretty sure that's the same for you @Cupcakes1234 ? How are you doing?

I had a random burst of cleaning energy yesterday and did some deep cleaning which I guess you could call nesting 🤷‍♀️ might do some more today if I can find that energy again!

I just want baby to come 😩 so uncomfortable and ready to meet her! ❤️

LolaLollypop · 09/02/2020 09:33

I'm due on the 16th but my DD was 4 days early so could be anytime! Feeling ok tbh, baby feels quite settled in there!

Actually ventured out to a friend's birthday last night and the bar was quite loud. Felt my bump tightening a bit but all seems calm again this morning.

Seeing the midwife on Wednesday so expecting to have a sweep to get things moving!

lovesT · 09/02/2020 10:08

@LolaLollypop not too long then! Yeah baby seems very comfortable and happy for me too, just feels like a huge weight for my poor tummy and hips!

I read about having a sweep recently, some things seem to say they will offer a sweep at 40 weeks if it's your first baby? My next midwife appt is on Friday where I will be exactly 40 weeks, do you think they'll offer that? I'd be happy to have that if it would maybe get things started!

LolaLollypop · 09/02/2020 10:20

@lovesT I definitely had a sweep before 40 weeks with my DD as she was early. I think if you ask they usually happy to do it! I definitely don't want to go overdue but wanted to get to 39 weeks so I'm ready to get things moving now! Grin

The sweep is pretty uncomfortable but if you feel ready then no harm in asking for one.

lovesT · 09/02/2020 10:28

@LolaLollypop that's good to know! I think if nothing happens between now and Friday I will ask. I keep getting tightenings/ back pain/ braxton hicks so surely something is happening? Really hope so! Getting impatient 😄

LolaLollypop · 09/02/2020 10:42

Not long now @lovesT Grin Exciting!!

doublebarrellednurse · 09/02/2020 20:19

Can I have a moan? I'm currently sat on the maternity ward bored and exhausted. Collapsed at home out cold yesterday. No one can figure out the reason either cardiac or neuro. I feel like shit. I've been having contractions every now and again through the day and the monitor is picking them up nicely but it doesn't feel like anything is actually happening.

Am 38Wks tomorrow.

Watching my chances of a VBAC getting slimmer and slimmer 😔

Dweebette · 09/02/2020 21:03

@doublebarrellednurse poor you!! I take it they're making you, stay? Don't lose hope for your VBAC, things can change so quickly so you could end up in active labour with little notice and everything could go smoothly! I how you didn't hurt yourself when you passed out.
