Hey everyone,

Hoping there will be some people moving over here from conception like me who just got their BFPs.

I’m currently 3 weeks and 5 days - feeling the bloat already and tiredness! Scared but excited :)

Could only see an Aug/sept bus and I’m a little later as my EDD is 18/09/2020

Did try and join the September bus that’s already on there but was lost in translation or something 🤷‍♀️ As nobody wanted to chat, feeling a little lonely as the girls on the conception boards were so lovely and wish I had someone to move here with!

Anyway I’ll try and start a new one here and see how it goes :)

Hi @Sunflower2019 I just got my BFP yesterday!
My EDD is 15/09/2020!
It genuinely doesn't seem real yet although I've got loads of symptoms! x

I took two tests yesterday afternoon both with lines and then a clear blue digital thing and it said not pregnant ... woke up and did two more tests and the other digital and it said 1-2 weeks!!! i am still freaking out and cant believe its real but would it be okay if i joined this group?

@C3PO31OMG same!!! did test yesterday and found out according to some online calculator thing EDD is 18/9/2020 ... IS THIS REAL??? EEEEKKKK sorry first time at all this and totally freaking out but beyond happy just doesnt seem real yet ... i am going to by more tests this afternoon i think ...soooo happy for you xxx

@Sunflower2019 omg soo glad to find you guys too honestly this morning has been a whirlwind of emotional freak outs haha! I'm in a state of shock really, I haven't called the doctors yet but that is for on my to do list! Someone just need to keep my mouth shut ... I want to tell from the rooftops 🤣

Also I have read online that they calculate the date from first day of last period which would make me 4 weeks not 2 but then ovulation was only 2 weeks ago (I'm talking crap I know just Confused) haha

Anyways my AF is due in two days and despite the tests I have the fear it will arrive!!!

@K8113 my Af is due in 2 days and I still feel worried it’s gonna come! Totally normal I guess. I’m 3 weeks and 5 days by my app, when I got to drs I’ll be exactly 4 weeks!
What have your partners said? How old are you both?
My dp waa happy but could tell secretly worried 🤦🏽‍♀️ He kept telling me off for having a coke or too much coffee, checking what I should and shouldn’t be eating etc! Xx

@K8113 it’s definitely baby brain, I put the coffee in the fridge this morning 😂

@Sunflower2019 haha and so it begins hehe! I'm blonde so this is only going to get worse for me hehehe!

My DP doesn't know yet .... he is away and back tomorrow and don't think it should be an over the phone style bomb shell, I can't wait to tell him ... he mentioned over Xmas oh can't wait until we have kids to spend Xmas with one day .... blooming heck here we are! I'm just so beyond nervous AF is going to arrive, my boobs ache BADLY! Feel like they might explode apart from that no symptoms just clearly lacking in brain functioning haha

I'm 26 and he is 30 :) what about you? I'm so excited for us all xxxx

@K8113 the digital test shows how many weeks since conception, add two weeks on and that's how many weeks pregnant the doctor will count you as (they count the pregnancy as if you have a 28 day cycle, going from the first date of your last period )

But when you go for your dating scan they'll adjust your due date to be more accurate anyway.

@K8113 I’m 32, 33 end of the month. Aah that’s sweet. I bought a little hat and a teddy and placed the test on the bed with them to surprise him, I was so nervous! Just done another test 😂 definitely pregnant! Im literally the most ditsyiest person ever so I’m going to struggle too!
Started panicking last night about giving birth already, such a dufus!

@Sunflower2019 haha love it! I have done 4 then the one this morning at my lunch I'm going to go out and get some more ... just to be double triple sure!!! Omg love that idea!!! I can't wait to tell him ... I want to make it special but I'm such a worrier I don't want to be all excited Incase something happens!

Awwww I'm so so happy for you, I'm from London but now live in the country in North Yorkshire ... I'm pacing up and down my office now like what to do next ...

@Sunflower2019 I just peed on two tests at work (at the same time) wouldn't advise doing this ... messy affair! But see attached literally appreared in seconds?? oOMG I REALLY AM PREGNANT 😮😮😮🥰🥰🥰

🤣🤣 we definitely have issues! Do you have bloating yet? Honestly everything is tight already and I’ve been so hungry today 😋 Surely this isn’t normal already! Think I’m super in tune with my body! Now off for a facial, hopefully get some life back into me :) xx

It’s weird our days are spot on!

@sunflower to be honest, the fact my driving seems to have got worse and i am just all over the place is the only symptom but the bottom of my stomach feels really right ... I am still in shock!

OMG a facial sounds dreamy, i am a member at a spa and was supposed to be going to the gym tonight but sacking that off for a relax in the pool and hottub (are we allowed in hot tubs ) oh jesus now need to start thinking about all of this kind of stuff!

Also still laughing at myself for peeing on two sticks at the same time ...

No we can’t use hot tubs 😞😭 I had my facial and it was a total disappointment.. not going back there. Was a voucher too so feel like it was wasted! Damn!
Just got home, had another bath, washed my hair and now chilling 💝
Was gonna have steak tonight now thinking can I eat that medium 🤣 helllppppo! Lol. Xx

@Sunflower2019 as if, okay will avoid hot tub! I'm trying to get a doctors appointment ... no idea what to say "hi think I'm pregnant taken more tests than you can imagine" hahaha

It's so weird all day I have had a feeling of not cramps but pressure/ bloat no idea how to describe not painful or anything ... can't believe it keep going to the loo and checking for AF praying it doesn't come!

Hiya @Sunflower2019! I remember you from one of the TTC threads we were both on. I got a BFP too - due early September.

Currently 6 weeks pg, and counting down the days until my first midwife appointment on Jan 24th.
