Hey everyone,

Hoping there will be some people moving over here from conception like me who just got their BFPs.

I’m currently 3 weeks and 5 days - feeling the bloat already and tiredness! Scared but excited :)

Could only see an Aug/sept bus and I’m a little later as my EDD is 18/09/2020

Did try and join the September bus that’s already on there but was lost in translation or something šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø As nobody wanted to chat, feeling a little lonely as the girls on the conception boards were so lovely and wish I had someone to move here with!

Anyway I’ll try and start a new one here and see how it goes :)

Hi @Sunflower2019, @Bezalelle and all! Hoping I can join too?Congratulations! I also did a lot of tests so very much know the feeling.

This is my first pregnancy, we were very lucky and got pregnant very quickly. I'm due early Sep so currently 6+2. I am also following the Aug/Sep Babies thread - there are so many people on there now so I am starting to struggle to keep track and feel like my posts mostly get a little bit lost in there, so thought it would be nice to touch base with you guys too... :)

Sounds like we are a similar age @Sunflower2019, I am 31 :) Is this your first pregnancy? What about others - first pregnancy or have you been pregnant/had babies before?

Nausea/food aversions is starting to creep in now but not too bad yet. Really enjoying plain crackers.

I still don't have a midwife appt booked but going to follow up tomorrow I think! xx

Sunflower2019 · 08/01/2020 17:33

Aah @Bezalelle sooooo nice to see a familiar name :) congrats to you!!!!! How have you been? I’m hoping some of the girls from the previous threads join soon!!! X

Hi am 5+3 EDD 6th September. I don't have symptoms apart from cramps but they have gone now but worried I am xx

aneliese · 08/01/2020 17:44

@K8113 @sunflower2019 I remember you from the conception boards! We chatted I think! (I changed my username because it was very similar to others and chats were getting confusing). Anyway, massive congratulations!! I'm 3 weeks and 1 day. Still yet to get a positive on internet cheapie but I've had two very strong positives on FRERS so I'm hoping for the best!

How is everyone feeling today? Xx

aneliese · 08/01/2020 17:54

Can I rely on these?? Confused

Babies due September 2020 šŸ’• Just got BFP
Bezalelle · 08/01/2020 18:23

@Sunflower2019 I'm feeling pretty good! So pleased to have got a BFP. It had only been 7 cycles but I was starting to worry because of my age (I'll be 39 in March).

So far my symptoms have been sore boobs, loads of creamy CM (tmi!) and HUGE mood swings. One minute I'm laughing, the next I'm crying. Poor DH...

We got married on Sunday, so it was really amazing timing, as I was just 5 weeks pg so I still fitted into my dress etc.

aneliese · 08/01/2020 18:28

@Bezalelle wow that's amazing timing! Congratulations!

My mood swings have been off the scale. My OH is convinced I don't love him anymore (if I'm honest I've been worried myself... but I think it's just the hormones making me super anxious, edgy and defensive). Sigh. What a process and it's only just begun!

IslayBrigid · 08/01/2020 18:38

@aneliese you can definitely rely on those, they are super strong! How exciting. Is it your first baby?

@Bezalelle I remember you from the other baby due thread I think as you mentioned your wedding? Congrats! Hope it went really well. Are you doing a honeymoon?

aneliese · 08/01/2020 18:41

@IslayBrigid yes it is, it was only my second month of trying too. I'm 35 and super aware that this baby might not stick, so I'm trying not to get too excited yet but I'm also desperate to tell everyone! How about you?

K8113 · 08/01/2020 18:44

@aneliese hiiii :) we meet again and this time good news!!! Eeeeeeek amazing soooo happy for you! I am currently still in a state of absolute shock, no idea what to expect or anything but hey here we all go! Hi to everyone else, so nice to feel like we are all in the same boat and have an amazing support system! šŸ’•

IslayBrigid · 08/01/2020 18:59

@aneliese yay, congratulations, so wonderful that it happened quickly for you! It also happened very quickly for me, after just one cycle trying. I'd been temping for 11 months though as was using it as contraception so had a very good idea of when ovulation occurred and think that must have really helped. I'm 31 and it's my first pregnancy and baby :) Like you I'm a little nervous but I'm mostly feeling confident and hopeful it will all work out - I think positive thinking must be good! xx

IslayBrigid · 08/01/2020 19:00

Oh and I have told a few close friends & fam but definitely going to wait to do the big announcement until after the 12 week scan x
What are you planning to do?

Crazymummyto3 · 08/01/2020 19:09

Congratulations! I remember you from the bus last month @Sunflower2019 . We have set up a Facebook group for September babies, if you PM your email address I can add you

nw80 · 08/01/2020 19:14

Hi everyone!
I've been following a few of the TTC groups, but it is time to swap over! Got a positive test yesterday! I think that makes me 4 weeks + 5 days today (counting from the first day of my last period). Have a GP appt friday. We'd only been trying about a month - so very lucky - but I'm 39 - so a bit worried about stuff going wrong. Thinking maybe just tell family for now.

abwebbs · 08/01/2020 19:22

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 08/01/2020 19:29

Going to tentatively join this thread. I got my BFP with CB yesterday and CB and FRER today. AF not due until Monday though and I had a chemical last year (in January) with AF turning up on time so I’m trying not to get too excited yet.

Louisewmcg1234 · 08/01/2020 19:38

Hey girls,

I'm new to this but really looking to talk to girls in a similar situation, I've finally got my positive test after almost 3 years trying since my last pregnancy which sadly ended in a missed miscarriage šŸ˜” I've had two pregnancies and two missed miscarriages in total and I am petrified for this pregnancy 😭😭 I'm trying not to stress and worry but it really has been an emotional rollercoaster. Im getting frequent dull aching in my tum and back (period type pain) had an early scan yesterday which showed the gestational sac. Bloods reading 1100 hcg back in tomorrow for more bloods praying my levels are rising šŸ™ congratulations to everyone šŸ’•

sr39 · 08/01/2020 19:57

Hope it's ok to join? Only just registered on here. I got my BFP on New Years Day, I'm calculating I'm 5 weeks, and have my first midwife appointment on the 2nd January. Lovely to read everyone's stories and know what I'm feeling is normal as this is my first pregnancy. Congratulations to everyone x

Crazymummyto3 · 08/01/2020 20:00

@abwebbs I'm pregnant with baby number 4 too, would be great to go through the journey with someone else who is! I got my bfp on New Year's Eve and think I'm 5+2 now. How old are your other children? Ours are 10, 7 and 2

abwebbs · 08/01/2020 20:36

@crazymummyto3
Ahh congratulations!
I think im 6+4 😁
Would be lovely to share everything and go through it all with someone else as crazy as me šŸ˜‚
I have 11 and 7yr old girls and a 4yr old boy.
Have you made contact with a midwife yet?
I phoned the doctors today, and they didnt want to know. They said you need to ring a midwife yourself and gave me the number. Been trying to get hold of them all day with no joy. X

fioney25 · 08/01/2020 20:41

Hello! Can I join the bandwagon?! ā˜ŗļø Congratulations to everyone!
I'm 5w 3d according to NHS calculator. No symptoms at the moment, apart from a few twinges. Got my first midwife appt 5th Feb. Feels ages away!! Xx

Crazymummyto3 · 08/01/2020 21:00

@abwebbs I'm just waiting for all of the comments about how crazy we are when we tell people!! I phone up my doctors surgery to make a booking appointment with the midwife, it's 2 weeks today on 22nd January

abwebbs · 08/01/2020 21:05

@crazymummyto3
Yes im expecting those comments too! Thats what i did with my son and then a midwife contacted me but we have moved house and now in a different catchment area so had to change doctors and they arent very helpful. Shame as i wont have the same midwives/health visitors now from my other 3! X
