Hey everyone,

Hoping there will be some people moving over here from conception like me who just got their BFPs.

I’m currently 3 weeks and 5 days - feeling the bloat already and tiredness! Scared but excited :)

Could only see an Aug/sept bus and I’m a little later as my EDD is 18/09/2020

Did try and join the September bus that’s already on there but was lost in translation or something šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø As nobody wanted to chat, feeling a little lonely as the girls on the conception boards were so lovely and wish I had someone to move here with!

Anyway I’ll try and start a new one here and see how it goes :)

@sunflower2019
Ahh hate a pervy doctor šŸ™„
Well i tried the midwives all morning and left a message, they rang me back when i was on school run and im booked in on the 29th jan. Things seem to start feeling more real now xx

Sk191 · 09/01/2020 21:11

@abwebbs I tried our midwife all day today, been told that she will call me tomorrow so fingers crossed. Still feel like its unreal as this was a complete surprise for us, so taking a bit of time to sink in. Hoping when I get the first appointment booked in it will feel real. Congratulations on your lovely news as well...so many September babies. @Sunflower2019 thank you for the lovely warm welcome, this is our first baby and wasnt planned but whilst it's all a bit surreal it's so exciting x

StillHoping27 · 09/01/2020 21:26

Hi everyone, please can I join? Got my first ever BFP 2 days ago and an app says I'm 4+4. After exactly 2 years TTC and 1.5 IVF cycles I still can't believe I've conceived naturally. Dreams really do come true!

If anyone has advice on dealing with anxiety that would be greatly appreciated. I came off my anxiety medication a few months ago as I thought that may have been a cause of our difficulties, but since the positive test my mind has been into overdrive!

nw80 · 10/01/2020 02:43

thank you for the welcome @Sunflower2019

I've just been to the GP and asked about midwife recommendations (you self-refer here - but there is a website with a blurb for each midwife) - the nurses there liked ones we didn't like the sound of - but they didnt know the others - so I just emailed one that sounded good to me/us. fingers crosssed.

Told some of my family last night - my mum was pumped! I tried to stress that we are worried about the first three months (mainly the tests - as I'm 39 and too aware that the risks increase with age).

How's everyone else doing? I've lost track a bit, sorry. I'm pretty good symptom wise - mainly thirsty with a gurgly stomach. Now 4+6

nw80 · 10/01/2020 02:51

congrats @StillHoping27 - sounds like a tough journey. I havent got experience with anxiety - but I saw a psychologist/counsellor (I can't remember which, sorry) when I was dealing with a few things - and she taught me some techniques to distract myself and stop thinking about things too much. Is there someone you could see?

Sparkle0920 · 10/01/2020 04:38

Well what an eventful little night I’ve had! Thought I just had a stunner of a cold but went to the walk in tonight feeling really unwell with a raging temp and heart rate! Turns out I have flu (despite having had the vaccine last year)! Hoping to feel better soon and fingers crossed that it hasn’t affected anything with the pregnancy!

melon91 · 10/01/2020 06:59

Hi ladies!! I'm so excited!! Due 7th Sept according to an app. Already feeling the nausea, especially motion sickness when I'm driving. Is this normal? Also have a constant feeling of indigestion. Just like some of you say, I'm so bloated that I already look 5 months gone! Glad to share this with you all.

K8113 · 10/01/2020 07:34

@melon91 omg congratulations! So nice to see how many of us are in the same boat! Told my other half last night and there was lots of tears and excitement so it's starting to now feel kind of real, I don't think it will feel real to me until I have the first scan!

Yes I keep getting bouts of "think I'm going to be sick" randomly! Also the bloating is real, although it's true what they say re the whole constipation issue (sorry TMI) I'm also drinking water like no bodies business I seem thirsty all the time!

Grin
Sunflower2019 · 10/01/2020 12:14

Oh no @Sparkle0920 hope you feel better soon, I’m sure it will be okay 😘

@melon91 welcome! Yes totally normal :) Congrats!!!!

Afternoon,
Feeling sooooo tired today, literally been up since 5am, couldn’t get back to sleep. How are you all?
Exactly 4 weeks today and plan on telling dr tonight when I go for Asthma check up.
I’ve been constipated too @K8113 the joys!
I’ve been feeling a little dizzy sick hungry all at the same time.
Hoping all is okay in there, still getting cramps on and off. Xxxx

Hi, I've got my BFP found out on the 2nd, came as a huge shock for me, been trying for over a year after a miscarriage October 18.
Due approx 6th September I'm around 5 weeks 6 days pregnant.
Been feeling very nauseous, bad insomnia, zero appetite for anything except fruit and veg.
I'm pretty anxious to be honest after previous miscarriage and every second seems to be dragging.
Is anyone else having similar symptoms? Or similarly anxious?
Hope you are all well Smilex

Mellymoo3 · 11/01/2020 02:07

How is everyone feeling today anyone nauseas? Still feels not real off to drs next week for a blood test
Where is everyone located? Im in victoria australia

nw80 · 11/01/2020 04:19

congrats @B0220s - I'm feeling anxious about the tests/scans/etc later on - but that also seems so far away...
Def doesn't feel real yet @Mellymoo3. I'm from the same side of the world as you (bit scared to say where on here).
My stomach is ridiculously gurgly and bloated. Thirst has decreased a little bit though I think. Or maybe I'm used to it
good luck at the drs @Sunflower2019

Mellymoo3 · 11/01/2020 05:07

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 11/01/2020 07:39

When do I stop testing and believe it?!?

Babies due September 2020 šŸ’• Just got BFP
K8113 · 11/01/2020 08:31

@BeingATwatItsABingThing I literally did the exact same!!! It's addictive CONGRATULATIONS šŸ’•

francis05 · 11/01/2020 08:39

Tentatively joining, 3 positives on internet cheapies in the last 12 hours, waiting for clear blues to be delivered... Eekkk! No idea about dates as no period since coming off the pill in Sept but going on implantation bleeding think im probably around 4 weeks which would make me due 21st Sept ish!!!

Oh god what a strange feeling!! Xx

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 11/01/2020 09:02

K8113

Glad it’s not just me. I told DH last night and warned him that I wasn’t going to stop testing. I woke him up this morning to show him the progression between 12dpo and 13dpo. Blush I also showed him my digital so seeing the word was nice.

I took a CB digital with weeks indicator but it didn’t do anything at all. I’ll probably end up ordering more.

B0220s · 11/01/2020 09:02

@Mellymoo3
Unfortunately I've not had a single day without feeling nauseous but only actually sick every other or there about it's made much worse by any kind of motion that includes me moving around.
@nw80
I'm very anxious to be honest very set on booking an early scan I think just to be sure everything is ok, is anyone else doing this?
Smile x

K8113 · 11/01/2020 12:33

@B0220s hey I'm
Doing an early scan as I suffer massively from anxiety before getting pregnant so I think it would really help in that respect for me :) but yeah going at 6 weeks Smile

B0220s · 11/01/2020 13:17

@K8113
How far along are you at the moment?
I am planning to go for 8 weeks since The baby stopped growing at 7+3 last time so i want to double check everything is still ok xx

Sunflower2019 · 11/01/2020 14:10

@B0220s congrats! Yes I’m having symptoms but mine is eating more and feeling empty all the time, not sick though, tired and sleeping okay but do wake sometimes at 5am 😔 getting me in practise šŸ˜‚!

@Mellymoo3 feeling tired and a bit yuck that’s it! Hope drs goes well, I went yesterday but didn’t tell him, I literally hate my dr he is such a Perve and I need a GP referral to midwife so not sure what to do šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

@BeingATwatItsABingThing haha I still feel like getting test, in desperation done a clearblue digital ovulation test and it literally just went straight to solid smiley, guess that’s what it does šŸ˜‚

@francis05
welsome and congrats :) it is a strange bizarre feeling!!!

@K8113 where are you getting the scan? I’m tempted... as on edge!

Hope everyone is well. September babies šŸ˜ still freaks me out!!!!!
