Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

@LTofBR3 what was the first day of your last period? They’ll initially work it out from there. I ovulate early but they still go by the first day of last period

blackpinkinyourarea · 19/12/2019 23:47

@Frazzlerock sending you all the good luck for your scan tomorrow, i hope it goes well Smile

crazee · 20/12/2019 06:18

Good luck with your scan today @Frazzlerock

I've woken up with one massive boob this morning. They both feel bigger, but my right one is in a different time zone 😂 it feels lumpy as well like when I was breastfeeding my first.

I'm still doing pregnancy tests every day as well 🙈🙈 I did until I had the early scan last time, but I need to stop now really! But they are the cheapies from amazon and I have some left.... 😂

Frazzlerock · 20/12/2019 06:46

Thank you. I'm trying very hard to remain positive and imagine how thrilled we'll be WHEN things all go well today.
We've got some lovely plans this weekend and it's DP's birthday on Monday...

@crazee I also had this but I already have one boob quite a bit bigger than the other. That's the one that got quite engorged a couple of weeks ago. It felt like I needed to feed my baby! I even tried to squeeze milk out - as if! 😂 I don't have sore boobs at all now at 7 weeks. Hormones seem to have settled but I'm hoping for a resurgence soon 😊

@Frazzlerock another one thinking of you today

BeanTurnipSpudPea · 20/12/2019 07:16

@Frazzlerock thinking of you today ❤️

Frazzlerock · 20/12/2019 08:25

FFS. We just drove 40 mins away to the hospital and they told us our consultant's been taken ill and there are no others around who can do the scan for us.
So they MIGHT be able to fit us in next Friday...
I sort of feel relieved in a way. It means I can go to the wedding dress shop today and do all our fun things for DP's birthday and Xmas with some hope still.
And in a week this little baby will have grown some more so we'll be able to see more. 🙏🏼

Tink12345 · 20/12/2019 08:56

@Frazzlerock What a rollercoaster for you guys! My scan is next friday evening 🤞 Hoping the christmas chaos will be a good distraction and time will pass quick

NBakes · 20/12/2019 09:57

@Pebs19xo I had a baby in March too and also confused if I’ll get mat pay again.

Babykent2019 · 20/12/2019 10:54

@Frazzlerock what a rollercoaster. I have everything crossed for you and hope all goes well.

I've dropped my 2nd sample off at the docs today following a bleed five days ago. I had another spot this morning but other than that nothing all week. I have another gp appointment Monday morning so hoping they'll refer me for an early scan and hoping I'm one of the lucky ladies who just spot/bleed 😕. If not it will be my 2nd mc in 6months.

On the plus side my boobs are hurting today more than they have so far so hopefully it's a good sign 🤞🏻

Firstmummytobe · 20/12/2019 11:59

Hello everyone, been rushed off my feet this week!!!im so sorry for anyone who’s is limbo or having a bad time.
But some good news for me...
Went for my early reassurance scan on Wednesday and to my midwife appointment. My scan dates me at 7 weeks exactly now, which is a week less than what I thought. Baby is absolutely fine everything in the right place and development is excellent. Babe had an amazing and lovely strong heartbeat that we could see and listen to so all good news!!

My midwife was absolutely brilliant, had my appointment jsut after my scan, gave me a months supply of pregnacare and also referred me to a specialist quit smoking clinic. She also gave me some leaflets and took my bloods. She was amazing so reassuring and I’m so happy. My boyfriend was also so relived, you should of seen his face at the scan🙈🙈

I’m so relieved and feel so at peace.
Ladies she also told me that happy feelings about your babies development and feeling excited actually helps the foundation of your babies brain to grow so to all the worriers our there I know how hard it can be but please try to stay positive.

12 week scan booked for January the 20th

Baby dust and good luck to everyone here ❤️❤️❤️

Firstmummytobe · 20/12/2019 12:01

In pic number two, you can see there outline of babes face😆😆😆

MaisieMolly · 20/12/2019 13:08

@Frazzlerock how frustrating for you but now you can try to relax and enjoy Christmas.

@Firstmummytobe wow! How exciting for you. I’m hoping to have a scan first week of January when I’ll be about 8 weeks.

Symptoms at almost 7 weeks - still very sore boobs, slight nausea (not to the point of actually being sick yet and I still wonder if I’m imagining it), and (TMI?) loads of white creamy discharge.... anyone else getting this?

Dollywilde · 20/12/2019 14:25

@Frazzlerock oh what a complete pain. Hope you're having a fab time at the wedding dress shop!!

@Babykent2019 everything crossed for you my lovely.

@Firstmummytobe I'm so jealous! What an amazingly good scan for so early Grin

@MaisieMolly I'm having exactly the same symptoms... tiny bit of nausea but I could almost be imagining it, plus lots of discharge (keep panicking that it's blood when I feel it and then realise it's not!) very sore boobs. Have had some lower back pain but that seems to be easing off a little. My symptoms aren't so strong in the evenings - I'm ok with it now but at the beginning of this week I did feel a bit panicky about how they come and go!

We're telling my MIL when we head to hers for Christmas so likely letting her know on Sunday. I'm really excited (it's a bit early but she'd clock no drinking in seconds!) and I've been bursting to tell people but at the same time, in a funny way I'm sad that it's not just going to be mine and DH's secret any more!

MaisieMolly · 20/12/2019 14:37

@dollywilde exactly the same on thinking it’s blood too! Confused

I’ll be telling my parents next week as we’re going to stay with them for Christmas and it’ll be so obvious with the not drinking and not eating lots of Christmas cheese etc. It’s going to be along the lines of “it’s still early so don’t get ahead of yourselves but...”. Ideally we’d wait until 12 week scan has been and gone. We won’t be telling anyone else. I have also enjoyed it being our little secret so far!

Girlinglasses · 20/12/2019 20:47

@Frazzlerock argh that's so frustrating but exactly the right attitude to take about trying to enjoy Christmas- hope dress shopping went well 😍
@Firstmummytobe so glad your scan and midwife app went well and your boyf is feeling more connected- such a lovely scan photo too! Really great that you are going to quit smoking- i quit fully about 2-3 months ago after being off and on them for the past year- there's an app called Kwit that I found really useful. Just keep telling yourself that you are doing it for your beautiful baby ❤️

Tink12345 · 21/12/2019 07:19

Hey ladies. This one is probably a bit TMI 😬 but cant get an answer from Mr Google. I have had the normal white creamy discharge for weeks but last night I had very thick, clear, stringy discharge (like CM but less slippy). Is this normal? No pain. No blood. I had pink CM like discharge a few weeks ago but nothing since. Google just keeps saying about early labour and mucus plugs etc 🤷‍♀️

Firstmummytobe · 21/12/2019 09:32

@Girlinglasses thank you so much!! I’m so overwhelmed and happy 😊🙈

@Tink12345 exactly the same here, completely normal it’s just your body’s bacteria and your uterus adjusting to babe being there. If you have any worries though I would just contact your GP Monday but it sounds totally normal and I’ve been having the same so I wouldn’t worry xx

LanieM87 · 21/12/2019 10:58

I had my early scan at EPU this morning following more spotting. I'm so pleased that everything is ok. Baby is in the right place and has a strong heartbeat. No explanation for the spotting but apparently it's positive that it's pink as opposed to brown.
Midwife was lovely and has pushed my dates back by a week, so I'm approx 6+2 now. They said that if the spotting continues or gets worse to go back. But at the minute there's nothing to worry about!

I was due a private scan on the 27th but I'm gonna push it back a couple more weeks hopefully and have something around 9 weeks.

Here's my scan pic - baby is the top blob 🙈

Babykent2019 · 21/12/2019 11:37

@LanieM87 that's good to hear, I had a bit of spotting yesterday and had a light bleed a week ago but no pain , cramps, clots, and nothing since, hoping it's nothing to worry about as well , got an appointment with the gp on Monday. Boobs are sensitive , have vivid dreams and have a bit of gas / constipation (sorry Tmi)so having pregnancy symptoms . Also did a test yesterday and it was a strong positive. Hoping I can get an early scan to get everything checked out.

Is anyone experiencing any balance issues? I'm 5 weeks +6 and today have tripped over my feet about 5 times then nearly walked into the wall at home, not sure if this is pregnancy 🤰 related or just me being clumsy and all in my head 🤔

PandaPink · 21/12/2019 12:36

@Babykent2019 no balance issues with me haha

@LanieM87 that's great news. I'm too scared to go for a scan before Christmas will phone early pregnancy unit just before new year I will be 8 +4ish

LanieM87 · 21/12/2019 13:46

Thanks ladies 😊

@Babykent2019 I've also had balance issues - but again I'm not sure if this is pregnancy related or if it's just standard me 😂

Babykent2019 · 21/12/2019 16:33

@LanieM87 I've just had a nap 😴. Could be the tiredness, 😂.
Looking forward to this Xmas break and napping when I want 🥱

FriedasCarLoad · 21/12/2019 16:47

Joining the club, late on... Just found out today that I'm pregnant and due at the end of August. I have a one year old.

TBH I'm not planning to catch up everything from the beginning (sorry), but @LanieM87 how exciting to have your scan picture Smile
