Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

@JessManc @NamiSwan I am so bloated today it's not even funny- I genuinely look like I'm 6 months along! Anyone else? Other than that I just feel very emotional- nearly cried today at ridiculous things more than once 🙈

Girlinglasses · 27/11/2019 18:27

Also huge congrats everyone who has joined since last night! So exciting 🥳🥳🥳

DieCryHate · 27/11/2019 18:42

Oooh it is exciting. I have just had confirmation of my 6 week scan on 12/12 to check this ones not ectopic as a precaution. It would have been my due date so I am hoping all will be fine and that'll be a really positive way to think of the date

@JessManc I think I may put some groundwork in beforehand. As stupid as it sounds I may refer to having a ridiculous hangover or needing to drive early the next day. May even pretend to have a couple!! Hosting Christmas dinner for my parents though and there's no way my mum won't notice Confused

CrazyCoonz · 27/11/2019 19:16

I'm so ridiculously tired. Spent most of today either lying down or curled up on the sofa. Can barely keep my eyes open!

What symptoms do people have today?

Grainedesesame · 27/11/2019 19:19

@DieCryHate congratulation! That's really exciting. Are you having it done privately or at the hospital? I've just email UCLH to see if I could come for an early scan as well. Finger crossed.

I have a mid back pain since a few days but today has been really bad. Anyone else has this?

Hope everyone is doing well 😊

NamiSwan · 27/11/2019 19:21

I've also suddenly felt really tired all day today. And in a meeting at work I was chatting to someone and suddenly realised I was having a nose bleed 😱 luckily had some tissue on me. I never have nosebleeds, only time I've ever had them before is my last pregnancy in first trimester so assuming that's another random symptom.

DieCryHate · 27/11/2019 19:36

@Grainedesesame thank you, congrats to you too! I spoke to my GP surgery who called the hospital and spoke directly to a midwife in their EPU. Midwife then called me directly to book the appointment. Hope you get a response from your hospital soon.

@CrazyCoonz symptoms today have included mild nausea and a bit of arse javelin, you know those random stabby pains that feel like they're up your bum‽ I also cracked my head on the table picking something up. I had completely forgotten that when pregnant with my son I was even clumsier than usual.

CrazyCoonz · 27/11/2019 19:44

@DieCryHate Oh yes I forgot I am dropping things too. That happened to me last time as well very early on.

@Grainedesesame Also having back pain, seems to move around though which is strange.

glitterbomb234 · 27/11/2019 20:15

Hi everyone. I got my positive on 21st nov but was so faint every day it's got stronger! My first pregnancy, I'm very excited and both shocked and thrilled I got pregnant first month trying. By my last period I think I'm due 4th August but I haven't seen my GP yet, that's happening Friday Grin

Girlinglasses · 27/11/2019 20:16

@DieCryHate Arse javelin 😂😂😂 I've never had it before but that is exactly what I've had a few times today and a perfect description of it!
@Grainedesesame that's great news about the scan, fingers crossed that it all goes well! I'm at the doc next Wed so hoping he also refers me for an early scan, although I'm away from the 14th until New Years Eve 8 weeks will be the earliest I can get a scan 🙈 seems like ages away, so hard not to worry.

Mangoandlimes · 27/11/2019 20:20

Really bloated here too! Odd, I don't remember that as a symptom from my last pregnancy, don't think I even knew I was pregnant until about 6 or 7 weeks last time. But I guess each one is different!

Congrats to all on your bfps!

DieCryHate · 27/11/2019 20:40

@Girlinglasses glad it's not just me experiencing that delightful symptom Grin

Jojo19834 · 27/11/2019 20:49

Yay yay yay I get to join!! I read this last night but couldn’t say anything as hadn’t tested, but just done my tests and 2x BFP. In theory due 5 August (I’m FET so will wait for them to confirm but think I got it right). My brother is getting married abroad on 8/08 so I’m going to miss it/ruin it as first grandchild for my parents. Hope he forgives me!

LanieM87 · 27/11/2019 20:57

I also get to join! BFP today due date of 4.8.2020 I'm still in shock! I can't believe it, I've had no symptoms what so ever!

Jojo19834 · 27/11/2019 21:12

@LanieM87 congrats, I’ve only had minor symptoms but I was defiantly symptom spotting! Nauseous this eve but surely it’s just a little too soon?!

Girlinglasses · 27/11/2019 21:30

@Jojo19834 I have been getting really odd waves of sickness today too- not nausea per day, more like sudden bouts of what feels like sea sickness and then it disappears. I feel like it's too early too though? I hope it's not a sign of horrendous morning sickness to come 😱

Girlinglasses · 27/11/2019 21:31

@LanieM87 congrats! I'm due either 7th/8th of August depending on going by suspected ovulation or date of last period :)

LucyC2019 · 27/11/2019 21:33

I've known I'm pregnant for 24 hours now... and cant get my head round it.... I've spent so long thinking it wouldn't happen for me and had sort of accepted that.... now... here I am..... boobs are uncomfy, stomach is beyond bloated and I feel like I could nap every time I blink... these 8 months (all being well) are going to be fun. Haha. Xx

LanieM87 · 27/11/2019 21:47

Thanks @Jojo19834 @Girlinglasses congrats to you both too! I'd been symptom spotting like crazy too. I guess I've been a bit more bloated then usual and a little gassier 🙈 but otherwise felt well!

I've had some pelvic pain today. I really just can't believe it. It doesn't feel real! I keep thinking I'll go to the loo and AF will be there.

EROD · 28/11/2019 00:18

Due 4th August with baby number 4. Going to keep it quiet as long as possible and just enjoy the secret

Em012 · 28/11/2019 05:28

Congratulations @LanieM87 @EROD. I had my first hurdle last night it was my birthday meal and I wasnt drinking said I was driving so DP could have a drink... yep I dont think anyone believed meBlush

Girlinglasses · 28/11/2019 06:35

Weirdly enough I've been off the booze for a month or so anyway in the hopes of helping things along (which seemed to work pretty well 😂) so I'm pretty sure half my colleagues already think I'm pregnant anyway!!! We are going on a weeks ski holiday the week before Christmas with some friends so I think I'll just have to come clean...

ForestDweller27 · 28/11/2019 06:50

Hi everyone

I’m currently between 2 and 3 weeks pregnant, just found out a few days ago. This is my first pregnancy and I’m absolutely gobsmacked to be honest - I was diagnosed with PCOS earlier this year and was expecting to have great trouble conceiving as this happened to my DM, but it’s worked first try Shock

We were going to officially start trying next month and I had grand plans of tracking ovulation but....My DH is very proud of himself, let’s put it that way. Wink

I’m really struggling to fall asleep at night as I’m boiling hot, does anyone know if this is PG related? It’s only been the last few days. Tossing and turning for at least 45 minutes.

Macbless · 28/11/2019 07:13

Morning

I got a BFP last night. We’d been trying for 7months and I was too nervous to actually do the test- I was 3 days late and the line came up so fast when I finally did it. I’m 37 and it’s our 1st baby so I wasn’t sure it would happen! Obviously super early days but so nice to join you all. I’m due 4th August- according to natural cycle app.

@forestdweller27 progesterone makes your temp go up. I’ve been boiling the last few night. I was temping before we got pregnant and the first thing that made me suspicious I was pregnant was that my temperature rose higher than I’ve ever been. I
This tied into 9dpo when implantation is meant to have happened.

Fx we all have happy and straight forward pregnancies!
Xxx

Jojo19834 · 28/11/2019 07:18

Congrats @ForestDweller27, my sisters have PCOS and between them by 29 have 5 kids with one on the way so now always a hurdle it appears! Think the sleep is connected to an increase in body temperature so probably is!

Can’t wait to see how we all get through Christmas without people realising we aren’t drinking/pregnant! I have said I’m not attending the office Christmas party but can’t get out of my team one but may just have to have an emergency pop up otherwise they will all know too soon!!!
