Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

Age 29
Due - I think 6 August (two days before DD bday)
Third pregnancy, I've had one miscarriage and I've a beautiful baby girl- well toddler who is more bonkers by the day. Her pregnancy was riddled with anxiety and she can four weeks early.

Interesting fact..I have been with my husband since the tender age of 15

Moominmiss · 11/12/2019 21:20

Hey everyone

I’m 37 (38 when due)
Due 3rd August
4th baby

The standard symptoms...sore boobs, nausea, extreme tiredness, needing the loo constantly.

I have a private scan booked for Christmas Eve when I should be around 8+2. My booking in appointment with the midwife is next week (18th).

Feeling really anxious about the combined test due to my age etc. Will be considering the NIPT and scan.

Still testing like a proper poas addict 😂
The test line comes up the second the test is dipped which is reassuring, and I’m getting 3+’s on the clear blue digitals. Everyday I tell myself I don’t need to test anymore but the pile of tests just burn a hole in the drawer!

Cinnamon18 · 11/12/2019 21:21

Also symptom wise- not a lot but I didn't with DD either. I feel sick when I don't eat and I'm peeing a lot more. Apart from that not much- I'm trying not to read into it

Girlinglasses · 11/12/2019 21:27

@Frazzlerock sending you all of the hoping ❤️❤️

Sjacey · 11/12/2019 21:28

Hi @Frazzlerock it’s actually a lot more common then you think! my friend and sister both bled whole way through both of theirs, my sister has PCOS and has three boys 15, 9 and 5 she bled whole way through her pregnancy I wouldn’t rule anything out untill you actually know for sure! Praying for you and sending hugs! Hope you and baby are both okay xxx

LucyC2019 · 11/12/2019 22:33

Stats

Age 38 (39 when due)
Due 7th Aug
6 weeks tomorrow.
1st baby...

Symptoms:

Sore breasts... my god if DH makes a grab for them one more time he's going out the window!! 😂. I've found I'm a little moody too. But think I hide it well.

So... question... midwife has put me on 5mg of folic acid .... but do I take that as well as what I'm on already or instead of.... I forgot to ask (can I blame baby brain yet??)

jennielm · 11/12/2019 22:43

ChelseaaBun · 11/12/2019 23:23

Hi!

Age - 23
Due - August 13th
1st baby (2nd pregnancy, we had a miscarriage in August)

Symptoms so far are suuuper tired, sore nipples and slightly achy boobs. I also feel like I need to burp constantly! 🥴

ChelseaaBun · 11/12/2019 23:25

Fingers crossed for you @Frazzlerock xx

DanielleG96 · 12/12/2019 05:46

Hey :)

Age: 23
Due Date: 2nd August
1st Baby, 1st month of TTC and 1st doctors appointment this morning with an early scan booked on the 18th when I will be 7+4 :)

@Frazzlerock you are in my thoughts, I hope everything is okay xx

Frazzlerock · 12/12/2019 06:37

I've had a bit more pink when I wipe this morning.

I know it's normal for others, but this is my 6th pregnancy. 2 were successful and I never bled once.
Out of the three that died, I bled in two of them so my personal experience isn't very promising.

Fingers crossed I can be one of the lucky ones for once...

Jojo19834 · 12/12/2019 06:47

@Frazzlerock for my hopes high for you xx

BeanTurnipSpudPea · 12/12/2019 07:04

Hi all ... apologies I haven’t read all the thread (yet)

But wanted to post and take my place mark. We got our BFP yesterday, following a miscarriage last cycle. Wasn’t expecting to be pregnant so it is taking some major processing, we had decided to wait another 12 months, but here we are ☺️

This is pregnancy 5, baby 4 🌈

Ds1 9
Dd 6
Ds2 2
Baby due 3rd Aug according to dates.

I look forward to getting to know you all, hope you all have a fabulous day x

jennielm · 12/12/2019 07:57

@Frazzlerock I’m still praying for you. I know all experiences are different but so is every pregnancy, and I know that, for me, I just bled lots straight away...no warnings, nothing. So really hoping that this is just a different pregnancy for you and that it all turns out fine. Gentle hugs and baby dust.xx

Frazzlerock · 12/12/2019 08:57

I spoke to a nurse at the RMC and she is going to contact our consultant's secretary, who doesn't start until 10am FFS. Then get me some progesterone. We'll have to drive 30 mins away to pick it up.
I think it's too late. My boobs are no longer sore and that was the one strong symptom I've had since before I tested

Jojo19834 · 12/12/2019 09:10

@Frazzlerock keep your hopes up, my sister end up on progesterone support after a bleed and now I have a beautiful 22 month old nephew. Easier said than done I appreciate

MaisieMolly · 12/12/2019 09:17

Good luck @Frazzlerock x

Moominmiss · 12/12/2019 09:18

@Frazzlerock keeping you in my thoughts and keeping everything crossed for you xxx

Macbless · 12/12/2019 09:22

@Frazzlerock hope that things work out for you and the secretary gets back you soon.

@LucyC2019 are you taking folic acid 400mcg as well or is in a multivitamin/pregnacare? If in a multivit I would continue alongside the 5mg folic acid. If just taking the 400mcg tab. I would just stop it. You'll probably just pee out the extra vitamins!

I'm taking the 5mg folic acid as my DH aunt had spina bifida and died aged 10.

My stats:
1st baby
Age 37
Due 4/8/2020
Currently 6 + 3

Currently I have the worst flu/cold/tonsillitis I've had in a very long time also combined with morning sickness, sore boobs and fatigue. Can't tell what's infection and what's pregnancy. But it's all pretty grotty!

EROD · 12/12/2019 11:17

@BeanTurnipSpudPea

My children are similar age
DD 8, DS 5 and DS turned 2 last week. We’re certainly going to have our hands full 😂I had passed on all my baby stuff and maternity clothes to my sister, I thought we were done 🙈
