Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

@Tink12345 it's awful being in limbo not knowing. I wish I had the answers for you. I'm glad the bleeding has stopped. Do you have a number for the midwives? Can you speak to them?

@MaisieMolly I'm still the same as you, just sore boobs and now 5+5. Although I think tiredness has kicked in and I'm sure I felt slightly nauseous yesterday afternoon but not sure if that was just wishful thinking.

Don't touch the test!

MaisieMolly · 11/12/2019 12:44

@Tink12345 I think we cross posted. Hope you’re ok xx

Cinnamon18 · 11/12/2019 15:24

Hey everyone,

I thought I would find this thread because I have made some amazing friends from DD's due date thread a few years ago.

I am roughly 5weeks and 6days I think. I calculated my dates wrong and have a scan booked for Saturday so hopefully it's not too early 🙈.

This is my third pregnancy, I've have one miscarriage and I have a little girl who is 16months but arrived 4 weeks early and was i neonatal for 5days. I also had the worst pregnancy anxiety with her so I'm hoping not to repeat that.

I don't really have any symptoms, but I didnt with my daughter either. I'm really trying not to stress this time because I ruined my last pregnancy and really didn't enjoy a second of it. I know it's still early mind you but just trying to take it day by day :)

Hope you all are getting on ok

PandaPink · 11/12/2019 15:38

Hi @Cinnamon18 welcome! I am 5wks 5days and have been nauseated for two 3 days hardly able to eat lost 3lbs and then hungry as a horse today can't get enough!!!

jennielm · 11/12/2019 18:23

OMG, the next 2.5 weeks are going to drag Sad
I have booked a Doctors appointment for next Thursday morning to book in and they will likely send me for an early scan but I have also booked in for a private dating scan on 30th December when I will be exactly 7 weeks. I’ve done another CB weeks test today and it hasn’t gone up frOM 1-2 so I’m getting really anxious that I’m going to have another MC. My boobs are killing me, I feel nauseous pretty much all day and things “feel” like they’re changing in my abdomen but I’m just so scared of getting my hopes up. This wait is way worse than the TWW.

How’s everyone else today?

PandaPink · 11/12/2019 18:39

@jennielm I know it's easier said than done but try and not think about it until nearer the time. Im trying to tell myself that. I don't think I'll go for an early scan before Xmas or new year. I don't want to ruin Xmas if it's bad news -i'm such a negative nelly x

Jojo19834 · 11/12/2019 18:43

@Cinnamon18 welcome, I’m 6 weeks today and pretty symptomless. I have the sore boobs and some ligament pain but so far fairing well, let’s hope I’m a lucky one!

@Frazzlerock thank you for your advice, I have a test booked privately next week and I will ask them how frequently I should be tested in coming weeks/months, think I’ll have to push NHS to ensure they pick it up. Hope yours are at an optimum level now?

NamiSwan · 11/12/2019 19:36

Symptoms sore/tender boobs. Have had some queasiness, which appears to have eased today at least, I've also been super burpy and emotional since Sunday, got myself into some right states! But that also seems to have eased!
I'm 6+1 today.

I had my early bird apt on monday and now I'm booked in to see the midwife of the 2nd Jan! Pretty sure I'm gonna have a private scan on either the 22nd or the 27th dec.

plantmum · 11/12/2019 20:04

I'm 29
Due August 4th
First pregnancy

Symptoms are crying every day, falling asleep at 9pm, weeing a lot, thirsty, very sore nipples (I keep knocking them in the shower/getting dressed, I've never realized how much abuse nipples get), very sensitive to smells, (I'm like a bloodhound) and yesterday started getting queasy when I need to eat.

I'm so grateful DH is very sympathetic and has been making tea and cleaning up most nights (while I fall asleep). Don't know how long that'll last but I'm taking it!

@LanieM87 I've also got booking in appt on 2nd Jan :)

EROD · 11/12/2019 20:18

Has anyone else carried on doing the odd test just in case? I have some internet cheapies left over and did another test today to be sure 🙈

Eurgh my hair is SO greasy, I don’t suffer from greasy hair at all so definitely pregnancy related. My stomach is also sore today, a stitch like feeling in the left and all over I my stomach I feel like the day after you’ve been to the gym!

Any one else got sore stomach muscles?

Also quite tired and had backache on my right side for over a week.

Age - 28

No massive symptoms except my new daily nap and occasional nausea. Still scared and stopping myself from being too excited!

Jojo19834 · 11/12/2019 21:14

Age 36
Due 5 August
First baby

I have a few symptoms but nothing major, sore nipples which I can feel more as the day goes on, generally lose my appetite in evening so eating more at lunch. Needing the toilet a lot, but drinking a lot as have dry mouth. Got the ligament shooting pains on occasion but generally minimal happening.

Interesting fact, hmmmm, maybe that I am doing this by myself after a round of IVF

Frazzlerock · 11/12/2019 21:18

I don't know if I am ready to put stats
I had a small bleed about 30 mins ago. Nothing dice but, in my experience, this isn't good.
Our consultant said I should call if I have any bleeding and she'll put me on progesterone, but it's out of hours... Sad So I will have to call in the morning if it's not too late by then.

I can't help but think that I could be one of the millions of women who bleed in early pregnancy and it be okay, but deep down I know it's not likely.
This will be baby number 4

I know hoping doesn't help but if you could all hope really hard, you never know

Frazzlerock · 11/12/2019 21:19

Since, not dice FFS
