Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Hey! I am due July 2nd with my first! I am terrified that I am going to lose it!

babybrainisreal2019 · 03/11/2019 06:53

Hey guys is there a way to create a group on Facebook to chat too? I joined a group when I was due Sept 2017, and I'm still friends with a few of the girls on it. We had 83 members and still arrange meet ups. I'm not very technical but someone on the group added us via our emails? If anyone fancies doing this I'm happy to join x

LazyDogFox · 03/11/2019 07:48

@babybrainisreal2019 someone sent me a link to a group like this - everyone is due around June/July. I’ll see if I can find the link :)

babybrainisreal2019 · 03/11/2019 07:50

@LazyDogFox great thank you!

I asked the creator who said it’s fine to share! Here you go ladies.

babybrainisreal2019 · 03/11/2019 08:19

@LazyDogFox thank u x

Louiseem · 03/11/2019 08:24

This won't show on fb publicly is I join will it?

bellebox19 · 03/11/2019 08:30

I just asked to join it 😊. It's set to private so nobody can see you're in it unless they're in it too! People also cant see who the members are but can see the group. It won't notify anyone you've joined 😊x

Yellowflower8 · 03/11/2019 09:08

Hi all,

Can I join too? I found out yesterday that me & my bf are pregnant with our first. Based on online calculators due on 9 July. I need to ring up for an appointment tomorrow though I’m not sure whether I book an appointment with a GP or midwife initially. The only symptom I have is sore and swollen boobs, but other than that I feel good at the moment. I’m excited but worrying about how I’m going to keep it to myself especially with all of the Christmas parties coming up. I also have a family wedding to go to at the end of November - I think il just have to say I’m on antibiotics for something hence the reason I’m not drinking! Iv also joined the fb group posted above :)

Hewie30 · 03/11/2019 09:52

@yellowflower8 Congratulations and welcome! We've got the same due date 😊

Goldington · 04/11/2019 09:42

Morning all, has anyone experienced any spotting? I’m 4w5ds today and had some very light pink spotting when I went to the loo? In my previous miscarriage it started with bright red. I have done a lot of walking this weekend as I’ve been on a trip away so hoping I’ve maybe overdone it. Naturally crapping myself it’s going to end badly Sad

AllyAdele · 04/11/2019 09:52

Due July 10th!! So nervous that i will lose him or her as it's our first! We weren't ttc as we only got married last month but we just stopped preventing. Feeling like these mood swings are insane though!! Just started getting the nausea this morning and off and on cramps have been here practically since conception. Reeeeally hoping the mood swings don't get any worse though, I don't even know myself!

farmmumtomillie · 04/11/2019 10:54

Hi all,

I haven't got time to read back through thread right now but commenting so I don't loose you 🙃

Tils1066 · 04/11/2019 10:57

Hey how is everyone feeling? I’m going for my super early scan this afternoon to check it’s in the right place. I really really hope it’s all ok and they can see something. I’m 4 weeks and 6 days. I feel slightly nauseas, dizzy, tired and have the most achey boobs! It’s really nice that we are all due around the same time and we can chat as I have only told my partner and best friend Smile

littlelaury · 04/11/2019 11:17

Morning all,

I'm feeling a little bloated and sometimes get some cramps. Waiting with baited breath to see if I get proper morning sickness. I don't cope well with nausea and unfortunately I'm a contractor rather than an employee, so taking time off would mean I don't get paid!

Goldington - I haven't had any spotting but I didn't want to ignore. It must be very worrying for you and I'm so sorry to hear you've previously had to go through a miscarriage. Apparently some light bleeding/spotting is not uncommon at all in early pregnancy (20% of women experience it according to the book I am reading). The book says it can be implantation bleeding but also I know blood supply around the cervix increases a lot and I would imagine that could be mildly irritated by a lot of exercise? I think as it's light I would try not to worry (easier said than done I know). Wishing you luck!

Goldington · 04/11/2019 12:13

Thanks @littlelaury I’m just trying to stay optimistic. I’ve been to the loo a couple of times since and not another drop in sight so we’ll see what happens over the next few days!

bellebox19 · 04/11/2019 12:37

I'm having quite painful period type cramps, so much so that I'm convinced I'll bleed any second :(. This is so anxiety inducing!

I've probably asked this before but are you ladies having this too? I'll be 5 weeks on Wednesday x

Gr1ff · 04/11/2019 12:39

@Tils1066 how did you manage to get such an early scan? I'm 4 weeks today and had a miscarriage in September so would love some reassurance. I can't get in to see my GP for 3 weeks (ridiculous!) so was thinking of getting a private one as 6 weeks x

Wanderer1 · 04/11/2019 12:55

Hi everyone, I'm due mid July (found out super early with a bfp at 7dpo last week).
No real symptoms yet, I really didn't think this would be my month so I'm a bit caught off stride. Called the midwife service today and should get an appointment through in the post.

I'd love a scan date before Christmas so I can tell family when we visit but I think it's unlikely. Has anyone else had a scan date yet?

Goldington · 04/11/2019 13:09

@bellebox19 I’m 5 weeks on Wednesday too! I’ve had cramps on and off since I found out but they are short lived (only last 5 mins or so) and seem to be easing off now. It’s such a stressful time. I think cramps at this stage are pretty normal! I’m trying not to worry but it’s hard not to!

littlelaury · 04/11/2019 13:16

Bellebox19 - I have been having mild cramps on and off with the occasional not-at-all-mild twinge. I think some cramping is normal but I don't know about painful cramping. I guess it depends on what type/level of cramping you are used to as to how you describe it. I have had period pains in the past (thanks to copper coil...) that made me feel like I might pass out. My current cramps are 'mild' relative to that! The book I'm reading says mild cramping and/or pulling sensations can be caused by implantation, increased blood flow to the area and building up of uterine lining.

You could speak to your GP if you are worried? Unfortunately though I think it's just a waiting game whilst our pregnancies are so early. I wish you luck!

Wanderer1 · 04/11/2019 13:41

@littlelaury can I ask what book you are reading? I've read Expecting Better and I've ordered WTEWYE but could definitely do with some recommendations.

littlelaury · 04/11/2019 13:48

The book is What to Expect When You're Expecting. I read it cover to cover when we first started TTC about a year ago and I'm now just flicking through to the relevant bits. I also have the matching app on my phone which helps me remember how far along I am and says a bit what's going on development wise and gives a baby size comparison (week 4 - poppy seed) Smile.

MrsD7 · 04/11/2019 13:55

So I have caved and booked at early scan. Will be 8 weeks and 5 days and it's the morning before we plan to tell DH parents so praying everything will be ok and we'll have a little scan photo to show them!
Anyone else planning on doing an early scan?
Also, how is everyone coping with the anxiety? I am flitting from excitement to anxiety constantly! Don't know how I am going to get any work done for the next 8 months!!

BurnerPhone · 04/11/2019 14:31

Hello 👋🏻

I'm due 3rd July. Feeling very nauseas today, was sick this morning after trying to eat some weetabix. I've got an early scan booked too for around 8 weeks. Hoping that I don't get awful sickness this time, I wasn't too bad with my first. Hope everyone else is doing well xx
