Anyone due July 2020

Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Hi All, I did the test a few days ago and for a BFP! Due date is 6th July. We've been trying "casually" for over a year and I only started tracking ovulation days 3 months or so ago, which seems to have worked :-)
I didn't realise a cold could be a sign of pregnancy, was ill with sinuses all of last week and this week missed period and boobs were a bit sore so thought I'd take a test and boom, there it is. Still ill, with a sore throat this week. Does anyone know how long this might last? Also, I've sent a referral form to the hospital but no one's contacted me yet and my GP doesn't want to see me, so I've no idea what I should or shouldn't be doing at this point, eek! It's our first.

AKC123 · 01/11/2019 13:43

Congrats @MrsADM92

We have the same due date!

I think sending the form to the hospital was a good idea. I did the same thing. They told me they would make an appointment with me shortly to book in scan. Im sure they will contact you soon and discuss next steps

Hewie30 · 01/11/2019 15:47

Hi ladies,

I got my BFP earlier this week and am due on 9th July. My due date could definitely change though as every cycle has been a different length 🤣. If I'm going by ovulation sticks I'm 4+1 and if I'm going by last period I'm 4+4.
It's my first pregnancy and cycle 5. I nervous with every twinge I get and constantly paranoid everytime I go to the loo that I'll see blood! Does this get easier?!

I had to self refer for my midwife appt and they called me this morning, I'm booked in for 27th November! Although I think they called me quickly because for some reason it out my last period on the form an extra month back so I think the midwife was panic calling 🤣

MrsADM92 · 01/11/2019 15:56

@AKC123 thank you! and yay, due date buddies Smile

The hospital contacted me now, which is great. Have an 8 week appointment, but not a scan yet. The whole thing still feels weird and surreal though! I want to be excited, but starting a new job in a few weeks and will have to tell them I'm pregnant.. eek!

How are you feeling?

AKC123 · 01/11/2019 17:08

Congrats @hewie30
This will be my first so not sure if it gets easier but I feel the same as you if that helps.

@mrsADM92 glad they called to make an appointment! 8 weeks thats good. Are you hoping for your scan uust before xmas to tell family or will you tell people beforehand?

Hewie30 · 01/11/2019 17:42

@AKC123 Thank you 😊. That definatly helps thank you! Congratulations to you too. It's so surreal I've been so used to seeing negative tests seeing a positive one and having a midwife call is overwhelming 🤣

Siobhan1989 · 01/11/2019 18:22

@thirteen92 me! I’ve the same length cycle and also think I’m 5+2, my apps say 1st July. My birthday is the day after! X

MrsADM92 · 01/11/2019 18:41

@AKC123 not sure when they will schedule first scan for, do they confirm this at the 8wk appointment? I think we’ll end up telling close family sooner, as we’re in a weird situation and might need some advice/support. Don’t know how the employer will react when they find out I’m preg and in case I don’t pass probation for “some reason” etc Hmm I wish I could be so excited and plan telling people in a cute way, but the uncertainty is just a bit stressful.

Have you decided when you’ll tell and how? Smile

@Hewie30 congratulations! I think feeling nervous until first scan is natural, we’ve no idea of what our bodies are doing right now is normal or not Grin

Hewie30 · 01/11/2019 19:15

@MrsADM92 Thank you! Congratulations to you too 😊. Haha yeah this is exactly it! Every twinge or feeling I'm thinking is this normal 🤣. I think after a few weeks we'll all feel more at ease knowing it's just changes happening inside of our body and is completely normal 😁. But it's so nice talking to people in the same situation as you

MindyStClaire · 01/11/2019 21:29

Congratulations all, another one jumping in here. Found out the night before last, due around 10 July.

Second baby, but a bit nervous after a MMC at 9 weeks in September. Feel absolutely miserable, but hoping that's cos I have a cold rather than the pregnancy. I was so lucky on DD, hoping to have the same this time.

For any first timers - I actually found the NHS pregnancy site really good for info about appointments, tests, foods that aren't ok etc.

Anon7501 · 01/11/2019 21:38

Hey,

Jumping on the 8th of july bandwagon. Crazy how many of us are the same date. Fingers crossed for us all 🤞🏼

dragonmummy17 · 01/11/2019 22:23

Hi all I'm due on 6th July... congratulations to everyone here
We were trying for 18 months and had a mmc at 8 weeks last Christmas. We were due to go to our first appointment at the fertility clinic next week but got our bfp instead. This will our second child.
So far super tired and super hungry... I'm going to be putting on weight at this rate

littlelaury · 02/11/2019 12:18

I rang my GP and they've booked me to see the midwife on 26th Nov, when I'll be very almost 8 weeks. They also asked me to go to an NHS website for my local hospital and complete a form to register myself with the hospital/midwife, which I've done.

Now for some more waiting around Smile!

Does anyone know how/when you get the 12 week scan appointment?

babybrainisreal2019 · 02/11/2019 13:32

Hi all can I join too. EDD is 5th July! Got my BFP on Tuesday,so I'm 6 weeks today. This is #2, we were thinking of trying next month but decided to stop conception in May. Wasn't sure it would happen so lovely surprise (I'm 39). Good luck to you all on this exciting journey x

Hewie30 · 02/11/2019 14:11

@littlelaury Congratulations! Your midwife appt is the day before mine 😊. I think the midwife will talk to us about it at our first appt? If she doesn't then I'm going to ask! 🤣

June1987 · 02/11/2019 14:36

Hi Everyone,

I’m tentatively coming in here. I had a miscarriage back in August and haven’t had a period since but have been ovulating. Got a positive on 31st October and due around 10th July (but it is guess work as I haven’t had a period so going off ovulation dates).
I’m going to phone the doctors tomorrow and see what they suggests in regards to booking in appointments or scans. I’m so paranoid it’s going to happen again so hoping reading here will help.

We’ve got a little boy who’s 5 and also worrying about the age gap. Right now I’m just worrying about everything lol.

The only real symptoms I’ve got is sore boobs. But the tests are getting darker so hoping this time it will all be ok.

TeeBagg · 02/11/2019 15:17

Hello everyone please can I join? I just got BFP this morning. Due date is 10 July. So far my boobs feel like they have rocks in them and I am completely exhausted! I am very stressed and anxious about this pregnancy. I have a son who is 5 and disabled. And although this pregnancy was planned, I'm terrified about how we'll cope xx

Cymrubaby · 02/11/2019 18:49

Congrats all new joiners! I’m definitely feeling more anxious now, I think that’s in part because we told our immediate family and best friends and they are all definitely getting carried away! 🙈 Sore boobs are definitely still there, still getting on and off period type of cramps, more so when I lie on my back! And I’m sure I could smell raw chicken on the poultry aisle in Tesco this afternoon 🤢 I’m sure that I’ve never smelt chicken until it’s unwrapped before! How’s everyone else feeling? X

showmewhatyougot · 02/11/2019 19:00

Hello all Smile may I join too x

Found out Thursday I'm expecting baby #2 my DS1 is 4

My suggested due date from nhs website is 2nd July.

Very excited, nervous and a lot of other emotions.

Keep having quite strong period style cramping, mainly in my back, feels like AF will literally start any minute, so keep peeing on tests to make sure everything is still ok! I feel like I'm going crazy !

Looking forward to sharing this all with you CakeFlowers

Louiseem · 02/11/2019 20:06

I've been getting some cramps too! Been feeling really excited but keep thinking it's like not real. Feels so surreal, keep expecting to come on my period! I have my 8 week appointment booked for the 29th November and she said it would be about an hour long and she will book the 12 week scan then! I'm hoping to be able to get it before Christmas so we can tell all family then! Im so happy I've come across this forum, makes me feel at ease people are feeling the same as me!

MindyStClaire · 02/11/2019 20:35

My back is killing me. I didn't have this on either of my other pregnancies. Had to take paracetamol after a walk with the buggy earlier, every cough was hurting.

Stilltobeseen · 02/11/2019 20:50

Hi everyone can I join? Suspected due date is 10th July. We found out on 30.10.19 we are expecting baby #1 I am so excited but also very, very anxious. This was our 6th month trying so I was almost expecting another negative was quite shocked it was positive. I usually have spotting from 11dpo which I didn't get which was a tip off but I did totally have an implantation bleed at 8dpo. Feeling EXHAUSTED. It comes in waves though, I'll be fine one minute and the next it's like I've not slept in a week. My boobs have also got bigger and sore and I'm still getting cramping like my period is coming. It's all very weird.
How's everyone else symptoms treating them?

FiFiona16 · 02/11/2019 21:22

Hi !!! I am about 5 weeks with my first baby! Not had an appointment with the doctor or midwife yet so just going by internet calculators which say I'm due early July 2020!! So excited but terrified also! I'm getting quite regular cramps like period cramps and uterus feels tight, is that pretty normal? Xxxx

dragonmummy17 · 02/11/2019 22:16

@Cymrubaby my sense of smell has been really strong too... I don't remember that from last time...

AKC123 · 02/11/2019 22:55
