Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Thanks for the reassuring words @Nelbert19 . I gather that for women with existing diabetes they’re offered diabetic counselling before conception but the horse has well and truly bolted for that one - I guess ideally they’d have wanted to track my sugars before my pregnancy. I haven’t had any glucose in my urine though so that’s one thing I guess.

Hi all, been a bit hesitant to join this group after a miscarriage at 6 weeks in August, however I'm feeling much more positive this time and seem to have all the 'right' symptoms this time....sore boobs, tiredness, bloating!
Have been to the gp tonight, im due end of July (periods have been so irregular so not got a date yet) got my first midwife appointment for 20th but thinking to book a private scan for the 14th just to check everything is progressing as it should be. I'm so impatient! Looking forward to sharing this journey with you lovely ladies.

OlivejuiceU2 · 29/11/2019 19:15

Welcome @1sttimemum20 I’m in a similar position to you. This is my second pregnancy after a MC at 6 weeks late last year. I’m feeling more positive this time and have way more symptoms. Been a bit anxious this week as I’ve reached the six week mark again. Hope all is good with you and you are not too stressed like me

RedRobin7 · 29/11/2019 19:23

@1sttimemum20 You're certainly not alone here 😊 I had a MMC at 12 weeks and then a MC at 7 weeks so feeling very anxious. Having few symptoms isn't helping! I've had a scan at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and baby was measuring on track both times so trying hard to push back the anxiety. We can do this 💪🏻

Rainbow2020 · 29/11/2019 21:04

Anyone on sickness tablets that work??

Secondsop · 29/11/2019 21:23

Sending virtual handholds to those who are expecting after losses - I am one of that camp but as I had assumed my family was complete and that I was entering perimenopause before this pregnancy I don’t feel it in the same way but i remember so well how it felt. I did find it really helpful before to have a thread where I could say how I felt and articulate things I didn’t want to say to people in real life.
Meanwhile .... hello constipation my old friend!

Cornishbumpkin · 29/11/2019 21:51

@Rainbow2020 I tried cyclizine and prochlorperazine and they didn't work for me. Been on Ondansetron for 2 weeks and feel so much better even able to get through a 12.5hr shift!

1sttimemum20 · 29/11/2019 22:29

Thanks ladies, it's great to have a network to talk to people going through & been through the same thing, especially as we havent shared our news with anyone yet...want to have a scan to see the heartbeat first

@olivejuiceU2 & @RedRobin7 I'm trying so hard not to let the anxiety get the better of me but I'm finding it's worse at night, I seem to be waking a lot more (partly due to needing to pee) but then struggling to get back to sleep after.

Hormones are running high today, I've been so snappy at my partner 🙈 luckily hes very chilled out so just let's it go over his head

Tigerso6 · 30/11/2019 00:01

Can I join too, I know I'm pregnant and think I am due at the end of July, I have no idea when my last period was but I think I had implantation bleeding away the beginning of Nov 6/7th

Secondsop · 30/11/2019 13:31

Welcome new joiners.
So my GP surgery asked me to come collect a prescription and some kit last night to keep a closer eye on my blood sugar as it really is surprisingly high for me. Started it this morning and it as usual has affected my tummy (known side effect) but I guess that means it’s hopefully working.

mazmc83 · 30/11/2019 19:35

Keen to join if I may!

Due: 12th July.
TTC: for 9 cycles and given my 35+ age were due to start IVF next week but ended up conceiving naturally (I give alot of credit to acupuncture!).
Symptoms: Bloating, indigestion, nauseous but no sickness and intense fatigue.

Had my first scan yesterday and everything is looking good!

PerminantlyExhaustedPigeon · 30/11/2019 20:52

Hi everyone.

Hope you don't mind me jumping on.

I'm due beam number 2 around 17th July 😍 technically wasn't trying but what happens happens right 😅 so I'm 8 weeks today & I still don't think it's completely sunk in! Boyfriend is completely over the moon & has already ordered a boy 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is my 2nd & my partners 1st. My DD will be 6 in January so it's been a little while since I've done this 💁🏼‍♀️

Apart from the odd wave of nausea every now & then & being completely shattered ALL THE TIME, peeing every 20 seconds & wanting to chop my boobs off because they are killing me...I'm feeling pretty good. Eating everything in sight!

Trying to keep it quiet is a little difficult when Bean is popping out already! Plus I've gone up 2 cup sizes already.

I have my booking appointment on 11/12/19 & a private scan booked on the 21st (making for great Christmas present for the grandparents 😏)

literally cannot wait to meet my Bean already 😍

Congrats to you all 💖

Nelbert19 · 01/12/2019 10:01

Congratulations to all the new joiners and extra well wishes to those who’ve MCd before.

My bowels are driving me up the wall! Trapped wind is HORRIBLE - I’ve never had it before. Ouch!!

Kiki275 · 01/12/2019 10:03

@Nelbert19 try peppermint tea or cordial to help with your trapped wind x

OlivejuiceU2 · 01/12/2019 10:53

Welcome new ladies and congratulations!

Anyone else had a little bit of Brown in their discharge (sorry TMI) at the 6-7 week mark? I’ve heard it’s completely normal but did worry me a little. Had zero pain so think everything should be fine.

Nelbert19 · 01/12/2019 11:15

@Kiki275 thank you, I bought some peppermint tea yesterday and think it helped a bit. Going to yoga tonight, I’ve heard that helps too (apologies in advance to everyone else in the class!)

Toriclyde · 01/12/2019 11:24

Hello everyone! I'm a 32 year old FTM. Got my first ever BFP 2 weeks ago! Tentative due date is July 22. So far my only symptoms are mild nausea and extreme exhaustion! Wish everyone a healthy, uneventful pregnancy Smile

AutumnDazed · 01/12/2019 12:49

Hi @OlivejuiceU2, just to preface I am a husband whose wife is expecting (her anxiety keeps her off forums such as this, so I join instead to ensure she gets the info she needs in the way she needs it). My wife has had a browny discharge on and off around the 5-7 week mark also without pain. Seems to be completely normal. She’s 8+2 right now and has had nausea for around three weeks, with an awful cold for the majority of that time also. Wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy!

RedRobin7 · 01/12/2019 13:55

@OlivejuiceU2 I had it bang on 7 weeks, once on that day, and the same again for two more days. Very light and at my 8 week scan everything looked fine. As long as it doesn't turn red it should be fine!

Dafs123 · 01/12/2019 16:10

Has anyone found some days their boobs just don't seem as sore?

Julilie72 · 01/12/2019 17:01

@dafs123 mine aren't sore at all, maybe the nipples if they're pinched lol.. I have literally no symptoms exept for tiredness ;)

Julilie72 · 01/12/2019 17:10

I had my early scan today! So relieved...
Little one is measuring 7+6, so spot on what I thought! All is well, strong heartbeat etc.. EDD 13th July :)

Anyone due July 2020
OlivejuiceU2 · 01/12/2019 17:16

Congrats @julilie72 that’s awesome! Thanks @RedRobin7 and @AutumnDazed it is reassuring to hear. It’s such a tiny amount and not at all red. Going to have an early scan once we get past 7 weeks.

@Dafs123 my soreness has come and gone, some days they are absolutely fine the next they feel like they may fall off Shock

RedRobin7 · 01/12/2019 18:00

@Julilie72 Lovely scan! Much clearer than my 8 week scan. Can clearly see the head and arms on yours! Mine was still a blob lol. Was yours external?

Nelbert19 · 01/12/2019 18:05

Congrats @Julilie72, that must be so exciting! Can’t wait for my scan!

@Dafs123 my boobs are a bit less tender this weekend 👍
