Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

@Rainbow2020 anything with tomatoes 🤢

@KLNM89 I'm glad someone else feels like I do. I've had to tell work as it's soo obvious there's something wrong x

Littleseed2020 · 23/11/2019 20:26

Massive congratulations!! I am also due in July 2020, the 27th to be precise - still doesn’t feel real xx

Littlefish88 · 23/11/2019 20:27

I’m due 27th July too 😀

Kiki275 · 23/11/2019 20:38

@Rainbow2020 the only things you should actively avoid are deep sea fish such as swordfish & merlin and anything with liver (pate included). This is because of mercury & Vit A respectively. Everything else pretty much on the avoid list is down to Listeria/Salmonella etc. so it depends on how satisfied you are with the preparation. If in doubt avoid raw/cured meat/fish. Personally, I'd eat whatever I normally do (including smoked salmon and Parma ham etc) but would avoid dodgy kebab shops and burger vans x

Rainbow2020 · 23/11/2019 21:14

I went for the burger and chips hahah was nice xx

Littleseed2020 · 23/11/2019 22:10

Littlefish88 YAY!! Happy due date! X

Hi all
So I have had my repeat bloods done today and I have had a miscarriage. Not dealing with it well at all but wanted to come on here and thank you for your support and I wish you all the best in your pregnancies. I look forward to been on one of these forum threads again in the future. Lots of love xx

Izabela86 · 24/11/2019 13:13

So sorry to hear that @ScaredMuma2020 Flowers take care of yourself. Lots of hugs

dragonmummy17 · 24/11/2019 14:01

@ScaredMuma2020 sorry to hear that. Look after yourself and take the time you need both physically and mentally

dragonmummy17 · 24/11/2019 14:03

I had to stop the car this morning to throw up in a drain by the side of the road. Not a classy look. I'm feeling rubbish today and all DS wants to do is play and I just want to lie on the sofa

RedRobin7 · 24/11/2019 14:49

So sorry @ScaredMuma2020 I hope you have lots of support to help you through this difficult time xx

Goldington · 24/11/2019 15:40

lucindaanna · 24/11/2019 15:44

I’m due end of July!

lucindaanna · 24/11/2019 16:08

Has anyone set up a private Facebook group yet for this group?

peanutfoldover · 24/11/2019 16:22

@Alon789

I was apparently born with an umbilical hernia! This was in 1980 so mum didn’t have a scan to discover this beforehand. I basically just had a very sticky out belly button. My brothers enjoyed squishing it. It resolved before I have any memory of it. No last repercussions. I have an ‘innie’ now!

Dafs123 · 24/11/2019 17:17

Iv not long got back from a weekend in London with the husband. Of course sickness and exhaustion decided to kick in big time! It's going to take me a week to get over. Midwife and early scan on Tuesday so it was a good way to make the time go quicker! X

Dafs123 · 24/11/2019 17:18

@ScaredMuma2020 I'm so very sorry to hear that. Sending lots of love x

Wayekalb · 24/11/2019 21:16

@lucindaanna don't think so but it would be a good idea. Xx

@dragonmummy17 I feel you! Although mine is just constant retching :(

Nelbert19 · 24/11/2019 23:21

Hi all, congrats to everybody for their BFPs!

I did a test the day my period was due (as have been impatiently TTC!) and got a faint positive! The 5 tests I’ve done since then have been getting steadily stronger, which would put me at 5+0 today.

Last cycle, I didn’t test because my period came bang on time and I was sick of seeing negatives. Having spent the past week obsessively reading everything about pregnancy, I now realise that directly after my LMP I had a lot of the early symptoms - fatigue, nausea and constant peeing.

Do you think my LMP could have been an implantation bleed and I’m actually 9+0?? I have light periods anyway and I don’t particularly remember the last one being different...

Is there a way of knowing before the 12 week scan? Still waiting to hear back from the midwife so no contact with a healthcare professional yet. It’s my first pregnancy so I’m all over the place!

Nelbert19 · 25/11/2019 00:43

Also can someone tell me what FRER is? I’ve figured out it’s a home pregnancy test (?) but it’s driving me nuts trying to figure out what it stands for!

peanutfoldover · 25/11/2019 06:31

First Response Early Result preg test

Kiki275 · 25/11/2019 07:13

@Nelbert19 I'd imagine if you were 9 weeks it would be unlikely you'd get a faint positive, at that point it should be definite. You can get random symptoms such as nausea after conception (I did) which really isn't that long after your period finishes x

farmmumtomillie · 25/11/2019 07:37

I agree @Nelbert19 your about 4-5 weeks like you though originally. I had serious symptoms after conception and me and the husband knew I was pregnant before we tested positive because it was the same with my LG. Those subsidised for a few weeks the everything hit again just before 6 weeks 🤢.

So sorry @ScaredMuma2020

So I'm going to fill out an online form for my GP in a minute. I'm guessing it's all normal but i was woken but serious cramps Thursday evening and they were on and off all night. I've then been getting random spotting on and off since and loooots of back ache.

Anyone else totally EXHAUSTED all the tome but can't sleep!? Omg it's horrendous and then when i do sleep the vivid dreams mean it's not at all restful 🤦‍♀️

rhiiila · 25/11/2019 10:03

Hey quick question is anyone really struggling to eat? What are you doing to make sure you get food/nutrients in I've been way to nauseous to eat but when I don't eat I get crazy and start feeling weaker than usual (already super exhausted) but they when I eat I feel sick... and the cycle continues!

gemf87 · 25/11/2019 10:29

@rhiiila I had my midwife appointment yesterday (my first one) and i asked her this as I was worried I was depriving the fetus. She said the reason we feel tired is due to the baby taking from us what's inside that it needs but it doesn't actually take from the food we eat until 20 weeks. She said it's normal to feel weak and tired at this stage as the baby is taking what it needs. She also said not to worry to much as you'll pick yp again in the second trimester.

I tend to eat little and often and what I fancy. I have to eat when I fancy it rather then at set times or i won't eat as I then happen to feel sick.

Like yesterday i craved pizza at like 3pm so i ate whole pizza and then had snacks in the evening.

Xx
