Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Ahh that’s amazing news @RedRobin7! Congratulations lovely x

Rainbow2020 · 13/11/2019 19:36

@RedRobin7 congratulations ;) I had my 6 week scan on Friday but I was only 5+3 which makes me 6 weeks today.. it's such a relief to see the little heart flickering away xx

Kiki275 · 13/11/2019 19:38

Hi everyone, tentatively saying hi! Just had a feint BFP, really should wait until morning and do another but hey ho. This would be DC#2, due 22nd July atm. DS is 14 months x

Dafs123 · 13/11/2019 19:53

Amazing news @RedRobin7 I had a mmc is July so totally get the anxiety. That's really positive though so hope you can relax a bit xx

peanutfoldover · 13/11/2019 20:26

@Kiki275 hello due date twin!

Are you getting any symptoms?

I’ve got a mild achey feeling. Like period pain that isn’t building up to anything.

Kiki275 · 13/11/2019 20:35

Hi @peanutfoldover fellow 22nder. None yet, wondering what I'll get hit with this time, although I was really poorly with low B/P or iron the other day. I got horrendously bloated early on with DS x

morningcuppatea · 13/11/2019 21:15

Ah I was reading through the thread this morning and feeling awful for those of you suffering with sickness and other symptoms but glad that I've been feeling ok (my last pregnancy was horrible) and then bam! Today I've been hit with period pain like stomach ache and feeling sick most of the day, and obviously the toddler chose today to turn into a little monster.

I'm really torn at the moment between wanting to tell people so badly or just enjoying having this little secret for me and DH. I had to practice my poker face earlier though when DM commented on DSs cousins being the closest he's likely to get to having siblings!

Questionsanswers · 13/11/2019 22:29

Congratulations everyone!! I am due on the 3rd July with my 3rd child. My eldest 2 are 12 and 10 so feel like it’s all new and I have forgotten everything lol. I’m 40 now so Constantly Worried something will go wrong.

WooMaWang · 14/11/2019 08:01

Congrats @Questionsanswers. I'm 39 (and it's also my 3rd with a big age gap - mine are 19 and 10) and I completely identify with worrying that it'll go wrong because I'm now ancient in childbearing terms. I had wondered if it would even happen at all. I think I need to keep reminding myself that loads of women my age have healthy pregnancies and babies.

Rainbow2020 · 14/11/2019 23:22

Anyone else get the metallic taste in the mouth it's driving me insane xx

Bellaamore · 15/11/2019 03:44

I'm jumping in too, I'm due on the 13th July 😁

peanutfoldover · 15/11/2019 05:42

@Rainbow2020 yes! I have that! Tea has been tasting very metallic too. I can still stomach it though. I remember going right off it in my last preg!

peanutfoldover · 15/11/2019 05:44

@Bellaamore congratulations!

I kind of wish we conceived a few weeks earlier, would have loved to have told everyone on Christmas Day, we’ve got the whole family round!!!

AKC123 · 15/11/2019 06:17

Morning sickness started this week :( u
Yesterday threw up once in the morning and felt nauseus the rest of the day at work. I have been up since 1am feeling nauseus and have thrown up 5 times since then. Is this normal? I might have to call in sick but i feel really bad. I dont know whether to call GP or just suck it up

Julilie72 · 15/11/2019 07:52

@peanutfoldover indeeeed it's gonna kill me not to being able to tell my family !! Sad I see them like 2-3 times a year. I'm spending New years with them (not christmas), and I will be 12 weeks on the 1st, so I'm assuming my scan won't have been done yet.. :(

TBH I have no ideaaa how I'm gonna justify not eating cheese, charcuterie, foie gras, prawns, and not drinking alcohol, especially with my siblings (I'm from France we always have these stuff at New years dinner lol) 😅😅

Good luck keeping quiet to all of you as well... anyone considering doing a private scan just before Xmas, so you could tell, even if not 12 weeks yet? 🤔

farmmumtomillie · 15/11/2019 08:10

@morningcuppatea same. I was feeling sorry for all those suffering bad and little worried i hardly felt pregnant then the exhaustion his me like a bus Wednesday!
Been in bed for 8.30 for two nights now 😩 if it's anything like last time it's only going to get worse and last until 14 weeks! I run my own business and work 7 days a week and have a toddler (who only goes to nursery two half days a week. It's going to be tough

My nausea seems to hit in waves with some dry heaving but it's not debilitating yet like last time so 🤞 but only being 5+1 probably means it's on its way soon!!

Only 26 days until my scan from home device gets delivered 😍 so excited! I will (things all being well) be able to show my daughter her baby brother or sister on her birthday

Those who want to announce it at Christmas
Why not hire the scanner or book a private scan?

Bibinka · 15/11/2019 08:17

@Julilie72 I'm considering a test for Christmas as my 12 week won't be until the 29th December and it would be a nice surprise for the parents and inlaws. Not having any major symptoms apart from feeling like I'm going to have my period but I'm still only 5+5. I personally would like confirmation.

Bibinka · 15/11/2019 08:18

I mean private scan. There are a few companies that do this around my area for £70-80.

Dafs123 · 15/11/2019 08:55

@Julilie72 I'll be 11 weeks on Xmas eve so getting a scan the day before so we can tell family 🥰

lyndseybabybrain · 15/11/2019 09:10

Hi all, hope you don't mind me posting on here. I have just had my second round of IVF and although very early I tested 8 days post 3 day embryo transfer and we have a positive test ShockSmile
We had 2 embryos transferred but won't get scan until about 8 weeks "such a long time to wait!". Due date 21/07/2020.

How are all you other ladies doing during your early stages? X

peanutfoldover · 15/11/2019 09:19

@lyndseybabybrain congratulations!! I’m due the day after you! Got my BFP day before yesterday. I keep doing them though, to see if the line gets darker!! Obsessed!

Today it was a little darker so I’m going to try and relax about it.

Only symptoms I’m getting are period pain feelings and needing to wee a lot! Oh, and feeling tired!

How about you?

Dafs123 · 15/11/2019 09:29

Congratulations @lyndseybabybrain that's amazing. Not many symptoms at 5+3 just really sore boobs and fatigue. Waiting for a scan is the longest time of your life. We have one booked for a week on Tuesday so not too far but feels forever away xx

Rainbow2020 · 15/11/2019 10:09

@peanutfoldover yeah it's driving me mad.. hopefully won't last too long xx

Mummy2020 · 15/11/2019 10:24

Hi I’ve just got my BFP! 4+1 today and got a strong positive using first response rapid result! Due around 23rd July and absolutely over the moon!🥰

lyndseybabybrain · 15/11/2019 10:26

Thank you. I'm so in shock but still so scared to even move "silly I know".
It is so lovely to hear that many other lovely ladies are in the same position.
Congratulations to you all and lots of baby dust sent your way x
