Anyone due July 2020

Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Congratulations @lyndseybabybrain

@farmmumtomillie you sound just like me, I'm self employed with a toddler too. In my last pregnancy the absolute worst thing was heartburn from about half way through, so I'm planning to eat all the yummy, spicy food now while I still can!

I just called to make my booking appointment and I'm not seeing anyone until 19th December, I'll be 11 weeks by then, it's just occurred to me are there tests they are supposed to do before 10 weeks?

Kiki275 · 15/11/2019 10:34

@farmmumtomillie can I be cheeky and ask what you farm? I'm married to a dairy farmer and I'm already concerned about how difficult those first few weeks with a newborn & a toddler will be. I had an EMCS last time and it was hard coping.x

GingerRH · 15/11/2019 10:42

@Mummy2020 Congratulations!!!

Mummy2020 · 15/11/2019 11:04

@GingerRH Thank you! I’m waiting for my partner to get home from work absolutely climbing the walls!!🙈🙈 When are you due? X

GingerRH · 15/11/2019 11:07

@Mummy2020 I'm 5weeks tomorrow so due couple days before you on 18th. Xx

Mummy2020 · 15/11/2019 11:20

@GingerRH congratulations!🥰 Is this your first? X

GingerRH · 15/11/2019 11:26

@Mummy2020 it is 😊 I fell pregnant during the summer but had a miscarriage. I actually started spotting at 4+6 last time, so I think I'll breathe a sigh of relief if I make it through today. Fingers & Toes crossed. But I feel totally different than last time. And I realised yesterday that my first pregnancy the clear blue I did at 4 weeks said 1-2, and this time I did a clear blue at 3+4 and that said 2-3, so I'm hoping that's a sign of a strong pregnancy. Fingers and toes crossed anyway.

Is it your first? X

Mummy2020 · 15/11/2019 11:54

@GingerRH oh I’m sorry to hear that. Keeping everything crossed for you! Yes my first.. I’ve been off the pill since mid December, there were so many months I was adamant I was, yet this month I was sure I wasn’t! Crazy! Well after I took a test this morning (was due on yesterday) I wasn’t expecting anything and got my positive, I rushed out to Asda to buy the clear blue but just wasted it really as it had only been an hour and 20 mins since my first test, so didn’t have enough wee and the test didn’t work🙈 I spent 20 mins beforehand convincing myself not to do it yet because I know they aren’t sensitive but curiosity got the better of me. They come in a pack of 2 so I’ll leave the other one until in the morning🙈 yes getting a 2-3 def sounds like it’s all going well! How exciting!🥰

GingerRH · 15/11/2019 11:58

@Mummy2020 we've been trying since August last year. I wasn't expecting to fall this month as we hadn't really been trying since the MC. And funkily enough when I fell in the summer I'd kind of given up on trying as I thought it was never going to happen. Funny how it works.

impatientlyinfertile · 15/11/2019 13:10

Hi all mind if I join? I'm on the antenatal thread but this one seems busier. I'm due on the 24th after two years of trying and a lucky round of ivf. I've already told those I'm closest too as they knew we where doing ivf and if we lost it I'd want their support x

OlivejuiceU2 · 15/11/2019 16:48

Hi ladies! How’s everyone coping with the tiredness? People at work seem to be noticing I’m not 100% with it and yawning all the time. Can’t even have a coffee to wake me up a bit.

WooMaWang · 15/11/2019 17:48

I've started yawning all the time. I've noticed that I find physical activity I do all the time more difficult too. I'm only 4 weeks so I wasn't expecting the tiredness to hit me so quickly. I had a nap this afternoon. Just couldn't keep my eyes open.

peanutfoldover · 15/11/2019 18:21

I’m struggling with tiredness... or actually it’s sleepiness, I could literally fall asleep at any moment. I also, normally, eat a very low carb diet but don’t think that will be possible now, I’m starving!!!

Misty16oct · 15/11/2019 18:42

I'm really struggling with tiredness. I'm a lecturer and am finding I'm not quite on the ball in the morning, but enough that I can talk coherently (and answer questions if I really concentrate lol), but come the afternoon i'm knackered. I come home and lie down most nights... very unlike me. The body is willing, but the mind (?) can't cope.

Goldington · 15/11/2019 19:28

Welcome and congrats to the new joiners! I’m 6w2d today and feeling cramp! Still getting the odd cramping here and there - is anyone else? I also had pains in my thighs last night but I’m putting it down to all sorts of stretching going on!

Had my very first ever midwife appointment today which was kind of exciting! Starting to feel real now! Still not getting excited as I know there is plenty of time for things to not work out but I’m further than last time Smile

Goldington · 15/11/2019 19:28

*feeling crap

Wavery · 15/11/2019 20:07

Hi, I found out on Monday that I'm expecting our second child. We already have a 4 year. Dad really wants to tell her this weekend but I'm not sure. I'm about 6 weeks, EDD is 12th July. What would you do?

Kiki275 · 15/11/2019 20:11

@Wavery how would she cope/react if the worst was to happen? You know your DD best xx

impatientlyinfertile · 15/11/2019 20:41

I think it depends on the child tottally my little boy is just about to turn four he wants a sibling and would to some extent understand one was growing in my tummy he wouldn't understand death though or the loss of something we never quite had. Maybe get an early scan first to be sure? It gives you something tangible she can see too. Also if she's excited I assume she might tell everyone x
@Wavery forgot to tag you at the start x

LisaxMarie · 15/11/2019 23:50

Welcome to the lovely ladies who just got their bfps! I’m 5 weeks today and one week away from my early scan 🤞 now one day 1 of 8 at work and struggling with exhaustion already so the next week is going to be a hard push! Happy Weekend all 😊

peanutfoldover · 16/11/2019 03:13

@Wavery we haven’t told our 5 year old. We will tell her first, definitely, but not till 12 weeks and after the scan and blood test result. She can’t keep a secret to save her life!!

lyndseybabybrain · 16/11/2019 08:48

How soon did all you ladies start getting symptoms?
I feel sick every day already 🤢 x

Mimi91 · 16/11/2019 09:38

Hi all 👋

After 1year of trying, I got my first BFP yesterday! I'm 4+6. Went to a comedy last night which was so good, but I was falling asleep!! So so tired!

Worked out I'm due around 22nd July.

We are not planning to tell anyone yet, but my work bestie will figure it out as soon as I walk through the door Monday morning ! She messaged me 5 minutes after i found out, so I reckon she can sense something is going on already 😂 anyone else have someone like that at work?

OlivejuiceU2 · 16/11/2019 09:46

I know my sister will sense it straight away too, she did last time. Been avoiding her this week but know I’ll see her today when my mum and other sister visit, just hope she doesn’t blurt it out like last time. I don’t have a very good poker face and not one for lieing

Goldington · 16/11/2019 09:57

@lyndseybabybrain I think mine hit about 5 weeks-ish. I feel nauseous most days but it tends to be short lived and subsides once I eat. I haven’t actually vomited either. How far along are you?
