Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Hi everyone! I'm still very early 4+4 today, and wishing for more symptoms. I only have cramps and sore boobs, some tiredness... I have ovarian cysts so constantly worried about MC. Should I keep testing for peace of mind I'm still pregnant? I've booked a private scan at 7 weeks but time is dragging and I'm constantly anxious :(

I only took 2 pregnancy tests when I first suspected it around 2/3 weeks ago.

I don’t know if this is a silly question but what does taking multiple tests tell you? Or what do you look out for?

@edinbaby tbh I don't know the answer to this either. I guess by taking test multi times it keeps showing I'm still pregnant, so I feel a sense of relief... Not sure if I was to MMC how quickly the test would show not pregnant?

@Lexio17 the only symptom you need to worry about this early on is a postive test. If you've got that I'd stop worrying.

I had a miscarriage in August at 5w6. I was still getting a postive test at 9w6. So doing them every day doesn't mean anything.

Just be happy you've got your postive and wait for your scan.

I think symptoms don't always show this early.

I'm 4W4 like you, all I've got is sore nipples and nausea.

@GingerRH thank you for this advice! I'm so sorry to hear about your MC, it's also scary to know how long a test can show your are pregnant afterwards, must have been a horrible time for you. Congrats on your wonderful news now!! You are right that I just need to relax, and enjoy this time xxx

I did do another test a few days after my positive (using CB weeks indicator) just to check if the weeks went up. I had an ectopic with surgery to remove Fallopian tube back in July so thought this may indicate HCG increase which it did. Got my early scan on 22nd Nov. Currently 4w5d and other than dizziness before my positive my only symptoms are acne and sensitive nipples. Going to the doctors this afternoon to see if they will do some blood tests to check on my HCG levels. That’s what they did when they suspected ectopic last time and it wasn’t doubling as it should. Fingers crossed that this baby is in the right place. Just getting very anxious waiting for my scan

@Lexio17 luckily I'd come to terms with the miscarriage the day it happened. So when my GP told me to do another test (id been bleeding for a while), I took it with a pinch of salt. I think it was still showing as positive because my body hadn't fully passed it, so I ended up being in and out of the early pregnancy unit as they were worried it could be an eptopic. But everything was fine, it just took a little longer than normal.

But yeah 100000% relax, easier said than done I know. Every time I go to the loo I check for bleeding - I started bleeding at 4W6 last time, so I think if I get there without anything it'll settle my nerves slightly 😊😊

@GingerRH yes feeling the same about hitting the same milestone as last time. I was 5+4 when I went in for surgery last time which will be Tuesday. May be that’s why I’m so anxious atm! Fingers crossed for all of us 🤞

@LisaxMarie we'll both be fine and come 18th July we'll be moaning that we want the baby out 😂🤣

@LisaxMarie half of me wants to. The other half of me doesn't. I think my husband wants to find out. He's already got a little girl from a previous relationship so it would be nice to have one of each. What about you?

My husband has always said he would never want to find out but he’s changed his mind surprisingly! This will be our first. I’m glad he has changed his mind because I’m not the most patient person so don’t think I could wait 🤣

@Rainbow2020 Thanks so much and congratulations to you :-) Apart from extreme fatigue I have not had any symptoms. How are you feeling? Still in a little bubble - being in a group like this makes it even more real x

@Amandaruby I'm exactly the same exhaustion is unreal... I only start picking up about this time.. have u got your booking appointment yet? This will be my 2 baby but third pregnancy xx

@Rainbow2020 yeah I'm feeling good actually, gone off coffee which I suppose is a good thing and sense of smell has definitely heightened! Went to the Docs yesterday, very underwhelming lol 1st appointment with the midwife on the 4th 😬

@Rach2402 aww that's good u have ur appointment.. I'm hoping I'll get mine in the post this week.. doubt I will get my dating scan this side of Xmas.. have you told many ppl?? Xx

@Rainbow2020 just me and my partner knows! I'm going to hold off until Christmas before telling the fam then a couple of weeks later everyone else, fingers crossed I get an early scan so I can incorporate in the Christmas gifts. I'm enjoying that at the moment though....we are getting our heads around it together. Hopefully you will get a scan before Christmas. Have you told anyone??

Got a BFP today! Due 22nd July. A midsummer baby..... so happy!

This is #2 for me. My first is 5. Bit of a gap but I had PND and it’s taken a while to build the courage for another!

I’m also a geriatric preggo... 39!

@Rach2402 we have told our parents and work and a couple close friends that know we having been trying since our misscarriage 2 years ago... I just got my booking app through the post 4th of December :)

@peanutfoldover congratulations !!! I have a 13 year age gap so don't worry about it !! I'm 32!!

My 6 week scan went well. Baby is measuring exactly 6 weeks which is matching my dates. Also saw the heart flickering away ❤️ I am still feeling very cautious after my MMC last year but I'm cautiously optimistic 😊
