Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Amazing @emzyemz85 , 🤞 baby continues to grow as it should.
Congratulations @edinbaby, bet that was a bit of a shock huh!
@LisaxMarie, sorry sorry about the trauma you have been through! Will you get early scans to ensure it doesn't happen again?
Good luck for tomorrow morning @mlaxi will have everything crossed for you!!
@FireflyGirlif they aren't darker by monday call your GP and request 24 hour bloods ❤️ hopefully that will help ease some anxiety
Wow @Lcham89 that's an incredible journey you have been on. ❤️ will you not get early scan due to your history? If not I'd go for a private scan around 8/9 if you can because it's a libg wait until 12 weeks!

@RedRobin7 lets hope those meds work 🤞 symptoms are very up and down here! Nothing is 'constant' yet! Which is good but also doesn't reassure me much !

Hello ladies!

I'm due 16th July....can't quite believe I'm typing that. It took 4 years and 3 round of IVF to get this far, early days.

Hoping to stick around and have a sticky baby /fingers crossed/

Scan in 2 weeks, eep.

LisaxMarie · 09/11/2019 09:45

@farmmumtomillie thank you. Yes 6 week scan booked for 22nd Nov just to make sure bean has implanted in the correct place this time. I do feel different this time. Last time suffered from dizziness and nausea from 2 weeks where as this time just sore boobs and a whole lot of acne so fingers crossed! Spent ages trying to conceive and the first month of trying acupuncture we finally did it! May be a coincidence but I’m over the moon! 😊

Goldington · 09/11/2019 09:50

@LisaxMarie it’s funny you should say that about acupuncture as my friend who was getting pregnant but struggling to stay pregnant started it and then had a successful pregnancy!

LisaxMarie · 09/11/2019 20:07

@Goldington aww that’s lovely news! Yes I heard really amazing things about acupuncture which is why I decided to go for it. I had the ectopic and then a chemical so I’ve got everything crossed it’s third time lucky 🍀

Babytrain89 · 09/11/2019 21:44

@mlax Keeping everything crossed that tomorrow goes well! Wishing you all the best!
@Lcham89 what amazing news!! You must be absolutely thrilled and anxious all at the same time. Congratulations! I am also terrified everytime I pee....which is more frequent than usual....go figure!

@AutumnDazed how lovely that you're trying to understand what your wife is going through....the fear of peeing I'd say is very normal!

These first few weeks feel so so weird....like its not really real! Feels so bizarre! Sooo long until any form of antenatal care...just feel a bit on my own with it!

Austin2017 · 09/11/2019 22:23

Hi all

My EDD is 12 July.
Congratulations everyone!
I did a pregnancy test on Monday & this will be my 2nd baby. I have a 2 year old little boy. I only came off the pill in August & we weren't trying as such but thrilled to be pregnant so quickly!
Always nervous though as had a miscarriage in 2016 at 9 weeks.

SoontobeMummyofthree3 · 09/11/2019 23:42

Hi everyone,

Excited to be posting in here! I found out a few days ago that I’m expecting and I think I’m due on 12th July Smile

I’ve already got 2 children who are now 5 + 8. We’re hoping to share the news with them on Christmas Day [heart]

No symptoms really at the moment apart from sore boobs! Hope everyone else is doing ok xxx

AutumnDazed · 10/11/2019 08:22

Morning all, my wife is now 5 weeks and 2 days and is beginning to feel nauseous for large parts of the day. She’s found that sparkling water, which she’s always hated, helps a bit and we have bought some La Croix from Costco as it isn’t sweet but has some flavouring at least to it. Is there anything you can recommend that might also help? I’ve read about ginger ale but she really doesn’t fancy anything sweet right now so I’m looking for any kind of alternative! Thanks for your help!

mlax · 10/11/2019 08:37

@AutumnDazed they do say anything ginger helps with this. Hope you find a solution!

AKC123 · 10/11/2019 08:46

Im 5 + 6 today and starting to feel nauseous, lost my appetite. Im quite nervous about working when i feel like this. I dont feel that im going to be sick, just sort of lightheaded and nauseous. Im not sleeping well either. Many others feeling like this? Im guessing doctor cant do anything unless im vomitting severely and i will just have to work through it :( not sure when to tell work as i visit vulnerable people in their homes. If it gets too bad i might have to tell then soon if i dont feel able to drive or theres risk of me being sick in their house. What is everyone else planning to do about work?

morningcuppatea · 10/11/2019 09:31

Hello, I'm excited to join this board, my due date is 9th July.

I already have a DS nearly 3. So far I'm getting a bit of sickness and I'm absolutely exhausted, not sure it'll be long before people know I'm pregnant as I already look huge and my jeans don't fit anymore!

Julilie72 · 10/11/2019 09:41

Hello, it seems like I'm due mid-July!
It's my first time and it wasn't planned... I wasn't on the pill (didn't want the hormones), but I was following my cycles on Flo and we always used protection during fertile windows...we had been doing this since February and all good. But it seems my ovulation wasn't actually when the app predicted it last month.
My OH and I were really shocked when we got the test result on wednesday. But I knew deep down I would never be able to terminate. After his initial terrible reaction ("too young", he will be 25, me 27 by then, we live in London and he's not well paid.) he is now quite excited, and so am I ! Grin
I started folic acid the next day and self reffered online to maternity nearby. I have so much to learn and need to prepare!

dragonmummy17 · 10/11/2019 09:51

@AKC123 I'm 5+6 today too and also getting waves of nausea although its not constant yet. I already told my manager and a close colleague because I've been a bit off colour and its affecting my performance. They have to keep it confidential and if I do mc again, they will have to find cover for me while I'm off so its easier for them to know. It's a really personal decision though... you don't have to say anything until you are 25 weeks. @AutumnDazed Seasickness bands are meant to help although I've never tried

Those of you with toddlers, any coping strategies? DS is very active and constantly wanting attention... easier on weekends when DH is here, but on days when DH is at work and I feel rubbish it's so much harder!!

mlax · 10/11/2019 10:03

Hi all - had my scan, and unfortunately it's not good news.

But to not make it about me, everyone else who's had a BFP, congrats!! Xx

toomuchteaandcake · 10/11/2019 10:16

@mlax very sorry to hear this, take care of yourself

AKC123 · 10/11/2019 10:17

edinbaby · 10/11/2019 10:48

@mlax so sorry to hear that news. Take all the time you need and rest. Thinking of you x

farmmumtomillie · 10/11/2019 10:59

Oh @mlax I'm so sorry ❤️

farmmumtomillie · 10/11/2019 11:03

Hello to all the newcomers

Sorry everyone is starting to feel rubbish!
I'm 4+3 today and feeling okay this morning. Hoping when I'm home alone with my toddler I will be okay but i seem to be getting fatigue in the afternoons which then disappears in the evening. Nausea is very mild so far 🤞 but my nose is beyond heightened already!

Now just debating when to have our early scan... or scans

Goldington · 10/11/2019 11:04

I’m so sorry @mlax ❤️
