I'm 31, this will be dc#1 and i got my bfp on Sunday which was cycle 9!

@sao81 i know a few people who have had bleeding and been totally fine so try not to stress xxx

Hi all hope you are all ok! Been given my official due date 26th May. With this in mind, is anyone finding out gender? We've booked a private scan for Christmas Eve to open on Christmas Day

@sao81 That's such a good idea!! What a lovely Christmas present!
I always thought I'd want to leave it a surprise but I'm desperate to know now so we're going to be finding out too! My 20 week scan isn't until January 6th, so will be an exciting start to the new year!

@TwinklyTwinkle we weren't going to with our first and changed our mind, its so exciting isnt it! Did your 20 week scan come through after your 12 week? I havent had mine yet

For the first scan, the midwife just called up the hospital and we booked it there and then in our booking appointment, but for the second they just sent a letter in the post only about 3 days after my 12 week scan giving me my January date! I thought it would take a lot longer to come through tbh!

@TwinklyTwinkle aaah hopefully I get one soon, I had mine on Wednesday said I was 13+1 so 26th May is official due date

@sao81 I'm due 25th May so only one day before you! My scan date has come through for 6th Jan which is the beginning of my 20th week, so hopefully yours should come through for around the same time!

@sao81 aw what a lovely idea!! We are going to fin out too but have to wait until the 13th of Jan for our second scan 😭

@mumofbun the waiting is horrible isnt it! Thats why we've ended up paying for one were too excited!

Is anyone still suffering from sickness/nausea?

Yes and 14+6, so hoping it may go at some point. Not holding out to much as I suffered with it throughout my first pregnancy 🙄

@TwinklyTwinkle I wasn't bad during first trimester, just a couple of weeks where i was nauseous so off my food. This last week though, it's suddenly come back and worse. On Friday i was actually nearly sick and then felt awful all day. Last night the same and today the same. Still lucky i haven't actually been sick but just feeling terrible :(

@TwinklyTwinkle I've been on anti sickness tablets for about a month now which have kept it calm but haven't needed them the last few days so hoping its the last of it! Just my bones that are kicking off now 😓

Hi guys sorry I've been off the board, yeah still a little bit nauseous and I mostly handle it by stuffing my face (that seems to relieve it although put on nearly 10 pounds) quite tired all the time but worst of all is the constant bloody horrible taste in my mouth that just won't go away. ;_;

My 20 week scan is scheduled for the 3rd January, can't decide if we want to know the sex, but love the idea of the xmas eve scan for a present for yourself @sao81

@PrinnyPree I think either way its a lovely surprise! We live in a 2 bed house so practically its better to find out so we can sort decorating our other girls bedroom etc. But I know people who've not found out and its been that little bit more exciting!

I spoke too soon about sickness. Just projectile vomitted about an hour after my last post. Karma 🙈

As much as I'm hating still having sickness, I'm glad I'm not alone 😂 I'd really convinced myself that it would go after 12 weeks..then 14 weeks and it's still here (tbf I'm only 14+3)!! I'm just living in fear that this is gunna be a 9 month thing now and I'm not gunna be able to enjoy my Christmas dinner!

@sao81 oh no, your bones with ligament pain?

@TwinklyTwinkle possibly SPD, can feel costant rubbing in my groin, been told by hospital to mention it at my 16 week midwife app for physio and sent on my way with codeine, so got a GP app tomorrow to get checked again as my app isnt for another 2 weeks and it's reaally uncomfortable

Also, think sickness should calm down soon with second trimester 🤞🤞

Soo doctor confirmed today I've got pelvin gridle pain which I think (but may be wrong) is the same as spd? Been given exercises and waiting list for physio
