Bit cheeky as my due date is May 30th, hope no one minds. Blush

The May group seems quite established. I've been slow to come to back to the Mumsnet fold, did not expect to fall first month trying.

Really excited to hear about all your lovely BFP's and share our pregnancy journeys. Smile

Got my BFP today. Expecting my 2nd. DS was a May '18 baby.

@couchroastpotato I think @MamaPeas had to make the group private as she was getting lots of odd requests, so the link won't work. She posted her email address further upthread, or you could probably PM her to join

MamaPeas · 05/11/2019 19:18

Hey @couchroastpotato, drop me an email and I can sort you a link [email protected]

@MamaPeas done Grin x

Chaosonthehorizon · 05/11/2019 19:42

Legendsonly haha yes you have 😀. But you have managed three in two pregnancies (fingers crossed). Ah good to know, then maybe it is only the one bean for me given that my symptoms have been ok apart from the odd massive vomiting session! So far anyway....

TwittleBee · 06/11/2019 08:24

@MamaPeas - I also DMed you, feeling like it is a good sign seeing this one make a come back! x

MamaPeas · 06/11/2019 11:34

Hopefully I've added everyone who has massaged. Shout if not though. X

Hi all, I'm 9 weeks and 3 days, due 6th of June! It's been a VERY rocky road to get here, I've had 3 losses in 17 months, the last loss was twins. This time I'm on loads of meds, clexane injections, prednisolone, progesterone and 5mg folic acid. We've had 3 scans already and everything is perfect! We still can't quite believe it despite knowing for a month! Our Likkle bean was dancing around at our Monday scan and the feeling was so overwhelming, like nothing I've ever felt before 👶🤞🌈

Good luck to all you ladies 👍😁

@TwittleBee so pleased to hear your fantastic news!

Waves at the new joiners. Welcome & everything crossed for totally boring pregnancies for all of us.

I've got an early scan on Friday, will find out if I'm in or out this time then & hopefully get a better due date guess than my current one of "err, June??"

TwittleBee · 07/11/2019 09:12

Thank you @AttenburyEmeralds ! Hope the scans goes well tomorrow!

@rainbow1982 welcome to the group! Hope things continue going smooth this time for you

What is sickness doing for everyone? I appear to be avoiding it now! I have food aversions though.

RainMinusBow · 07/11/2019 10:40

I'm 10+3 with third pg and clothes are really starting to feel a bit tight and "squashy!" Obviously I don't want to buy maternity clothes until I know pregnancy is progressing and all OK with baby. Any advice much appreciated!

TwittleBee · 07/11/2019 11:05

@RainMinusBow I went into Asda and bought some of their cheapie "treggings" - they are super stretchy and have no zip or buttons so I dont feel restricted in them.

I know how you feel, I'm at that stage too now!

Also sickness has hit 🤦‍♀️ threw up my mid morning snack

Notnowokay · 07/11/2019 15:27

@RainMinusBow dh asked me why I haven't bought maternity clothes yet two weeks ago. I can't wear my old clothes as I have gained weight since ds3 birth. Just ordered two dresses from eBay. My tiredness at that time was peaking so I refused to go clothes shopping and try on clothes.

My tiredness is back again unless I picked up ds1 bad cold. He is coughing so hard that it is making him vomit. Took him to gp who said its viral. I'm not coughing so I doubt its that.

LillianFullStop · 07/11/2019 17:05

That's a lovely scan @rainbow1982!

Clothes seem fine in the AM but in the afternoon the bloat means I have to undo buttons

So so so tired it feels like jet lag. Can't wait for second trimester!

@Notnowokay I hope it's nothing - I picked up a virus 3 weeks ago and it was horrid along with the sickness and headaches, migraine and tiredness. Immune system is way down so it took me 3 weeks to kick it. Now it's gone I'm left with just the sickness and tiredness horaaaay!

Hope scan goes well tomorrow @AttenburyEmeralds!

BabyBird20 · 07/11/2019 20:05

Always a good day when 3 of my colleagues commented that I 'looked awful' today and wanted to know if I was alright!! 😬😬 absolutely hanging and the bags under my eyes are getting bigger by the day! I suspect the rumours will soon be starting about me being pregnant!!

LondonGirl83 · 07/11/2019 20:57

I'm just 6 weeks and the nausea is just starting to kick in. I'm feeling really bloated and jiggly.

MissisBee · 07/11/2019 22:26

So tired this week, and it's been a really busy week, so no chance to rest. A select few people know in work, but I'm dying to tell everyone, if even just so I can get a bit of sympathy for feeling rubbish 😂
Sitting here at 10.30 at night eating sweet and salty popcorn, also very hormonal and emotional today.
8+2

Rinoa · 08/11/2019 08:13

Hi ladies, hope I can join! I'm 9+3 today , due a June 9th. Before this was ttc 2.5 years and conceived after first round of Clomid !

Definitely feeling the sickness. One min I'm enjoying my vegan sushi the next I can't be near it. Makes going out to dinner interesting 😂

RainMinusBow · 08/11/2019 08:24

Thanks for the advice about the clothes 😊 Just off for my booking in appt with the mw shortly. I'm feeling really nervous as up until this point I'd been able to forget I was pg if that makes any sense? I don't know exactly what she'll ask me as ten years since my last pg but I'm very strong-willed (read stubborn!) and if I'm lucky enough to get to that point then I'm very keen on a home birth this time around!

Legendsonly · 08/11/2019 09:10

I am feeling hungover every bloody day, it’s exhausting! I think I’m over the initial shock of it being twins, now it’s anxiety about whether it’s two placentas or one. We have a follow up scan on 3rd Dec with a twin specialist who will tell us what’s going on, so I’m just imagining the worst til then. That’s what I do, go straight to worst case scenario 😞
I need to keep telling myself that what will be will be, worrying does nothing but keep me awake at night!!

Legendsonly · 08/11/2019 09:54

I should probably add that we saw two yolk sacs, so that bodes well for two placentas right?

Legendsonly · 08/11/2019 10:03

Never mind, just looked it up, it does not

Whatnext11 · 08/11/2019 11:58

Legends only must feel like a long tine to wait until December. I guess one type is more risky, but hold on to the fact that lots of twins are born healthy, with either type of placenta. So hard when you're worried.

I have a TMI question, driving myself mad. Had some discharge different to usual, just a one off two days ago. Looked like snot. Worrying that it's the cervical plug or something I should worry about. Never spoken to community midwife before, feel stupid ringing just about this. All is normal now. Anyone have any experience? No blood or anything.

Notnowokay · 08/11/2019 12:40

@Legendsonly I never had twins but I can sympathise with pregnancy anxiety. Werid things helps me feel comfort. The best approach for me was keeping busy. Is there anything you always wanted to learn, see or learn more about? I tried a lot of different low carb recipes and organised for most eventualities/ tasks for almost a year. Of course sometings needed more tweeking but it was nice having most stuff sorted. Is your insurance (don't matter which one) due for renewal can you find a cheaper deal, while retaining certain perks that are not negotiable for you?

Notnowokay · 08/11/2019 12:48

@Whatnext11 you can call your midwife for reacurance, but extra discharge can be normal. Is it smelly, are you more itchy as thoes can be a sign of uti or thrush.
