Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@mintbear I agree with the blood sugar thing. I find that when I’m pregnant I need to eat almost constantly to feel even vaguely normal. I’ve also just started getting super emotional. Feeling anxious in the evenings and crying at everything in the day. DH offered to run me a bath this afternoon and I burst into tears! Like PMT on steroids! This happened too in my previous pregnancies and got better as time goes on. Hope your feel better soon

Can I join please! Got my BFP last Sunday and my estimated date is 2nd May, so I'm 5 weeks yesterday 😊

Second baby and have my booking in app on Friday 😁 also finding it very hard to keep my mouth shut but haven't told a soul yet.

Hosted a large party at ours yesterday, think i passed any questions regarding alcohol as had a bottle on non-alcoholic prosecco in a small separate fridge that dh was refilling my large champagne glass with.

That was good thinking caspianberg! I was out on sat with my family and just drove and I think they all know but just aren't saying anything ha!

I know it's early, I'm type 1 diabetic which I didn't have with my last baby. So I've been attending a prenatal clinic since March making sure my blood sugars are good enough. They watch you like a hawk so that's why I need to get booked in straight away.

Got my first appointment for the 23rd so just 3 weeks to wait! Easy!

How's everyone feeling about cramps? I just seem to have this dull aching that comes and goes, with the odd sharper twinge...

Is anyone getting a beta hcg blood test done?? I've got my first one this morning then I guess it will be 2 days later to see if it's doubled...feeling nervous!

@Doris19 I get a few twinges & cramps but as long as they aren't really bad and you don't have bleeding then I think it's pretty normal.
I had to get my levels checked due to an ectopic and they were 650 and 48 hours later 1750. I'm around 5+1 / 5+5. Back at the EPU this morning to check everything is in the right place x

For those not on the Facebook chat I had my follow up scan this morning & everything is in the right place & I have been discharged from the EPU! Hoping to have my booking in appointment letter come through in the next week or two 😊

I just worked out that I'm 2 days short of the point where i miscarried last time, on tenterhooks...

Doris I'm the same, I remember having them last time too but I'm still on edge. I'm getting the odd sharp twinge but no bleeding or anything.

@PrincessConsuela12 really pleased the scan went well.

We told the kids today (5 weeks) but I get HG so thinking that will hit hard in the next week so I needed to tell them.

15 yr old has said she's scarred for life (I'm assuming as she knows we've had sex hahaha) but I think she'll be ok.

13 yr old cried with happiness.

7 yr old told me it had better be a boy 😂

All in all it could have been worse!

We have also told his mum and I'll be telling mine this week. With HG it impossible to keep quiet really :(

Also POAS again this morning as I had one left. The pregnant line was instantly dark and the control line was faint! After some quick googling it means my HCG levels are so high it's taking the dye away from the control line. So I'm hoping all is ok :)

Midwife is calling me this week to organise booking in. I'm after a homebirth so will have the homebirth team looking after me for the whole pregnancy all being well :)

I know it's still early but it's feeling real now the kids now :)

Hey everyone, been meaning to join the Facebook group since it's much easier than coming on here but I remember last time I clicked on it the "about" part of the facebook group mentioned pregnancy and I'm pretty sure anyone can see that if they have a look at the group youve joined. Id love to join but don't really want anyone knowing I'm pregnant and the about section kind of gives it away?

@jaysnr That’s the reason I’m holding off a bit before joining the Facebook group. Only takes one eagle eyed person to stumble across it and secrets out, especially when I’m still so nervous about everything being ok.

eeek, didn't know it showed up to other people.... I wonder if there's a way of hiding what groups you're in from friends?

Hope everyone is doing well. I was part of a group with my daughter and we still all chat now so hoping this one will be the same!

Hmmm...just found the link and it says closed not secret or private or whatever it is. I think if it is just closed then anyone can indeed find it.

Does anyone know who made the group/who the admins are? If they could make it secret or change the about/add a question process I'd love to join!

Is anyone still testing? I really want to see a 3+ on a CBD. Never got to see that on previous 2 pregnancies. Does anyone know when that would show up?? I'm currently 4+5

Anyone else find the waiting really tough? I'm 5 weeks today and I just want to get past 7. It's so hard to trust that all is well!

I've felt all over the place today, just couldn't concentrate. Peeing a lot too. What symptoms are other early weekers having?

@mininionsteve I'm the same.. I'm 4+5. Counting down the days to my scan next Friday but just always expecting the worst. The waiting is awful.
Symptoms are sore boobs, exhausted, the odd nauseous feeling and peeing more often what about you? I'm so bloated too I feel about 8 months pregnant!
