Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@FirstTimeMama91 i reckon 3+ would show up around 5-6 weeks, I got mine at 5 weeks exactly. How far will you be at your scan? I want to get one but gp told me 8 weeks, I think you can get them privately from 6 weeks though?

I did a CB test yesterday that showed up as 3+weeks and I think I'm 5weeks today.

Symptoms I'm experiencing: sore/tender boobs (occasionally my nipples turn into rocks), cramping, gas/tummy pain, tearful and the most exhausted I've ever felt. I'm starting to get fussy with food and feel a little queasy but I don't think I've got morning sickness.

I've started to swim a lot more, I'm aiming to go at least every other day, I find it really relaxing and I can get into my thoughts when I'm in the water if that makes sense.

@Doris19 I might try one at the weekend I'll be 6+3 at the scan I'll e 6+2, I'm getting it at the EPU because of previous mcs. Yes Mothercare and window of the womb do scans too

@FirstTimeMama91 so far I've had sore boobs, a kind of constant headache, beginnings of a sore throat. I pee a lot and sort of feel foggy. Was up early today and feel ok. Hoping they'll all creep back in through the day.

So hard to not over analyse every little thing. I may have to pay out for a scan if I make it past 7 weeks!

I'm so excited to be able to join this chat - I got my BFP on 30th August. After 18 months of not ovulating I can't believe we were so lucky to fall first time and without any medication.
Im 4+3 with an EDD of 10th May. Will be our 2nd - DD has just turned 3.
I'm so much more nervous already this pregnancy as I've had a lot of friends who have experienced early miscarriages. Looking to get a private scan at 7weeks. x

That's amazing, congrats! I'm going to get a private scan too following an early mc in May. I also got a beta hcg done by my gp, waiting for the results...

Morning ladies!

I'm here lurking as I'm not quite sure what's happening. I may be pregnant.

We got married on the 9th August and had planned to see how things go; AF was due Sunday, still not arrived. I daren't test!
According to NHS website I could be 4 weeks + 3 days today.

I have some symptoms; constant dull back ache in my lower back (I've never had this before in my life), some cramping although this has stopped now, bloating & exhaustion.

I'm worried that these aren't pg symptoms but stress on returning back to work this week (I'm a teacher)

What should I do?!

Husband isn't convinced I'll be pregnant, he thinks things don't work that fast (clearly in denial)

We've agreed to test on Saturday when he'll be home... it's going to be a long wait until then!!

@newlymarried2019 if it's after your AF due date I would say not too soon at all, the tests these days pick up such low hormone levels you can test several days before AF due. Good luck! Xx

@newlymarried2019 sounds like you might be seeing 2 lines on that test! That's exactly what happened to me with DD1 - all so quick it was hard to believe. I'm 4+3 today and got a really strong positive at 3+5 so I'd say you're not too early to test at all. Good luck and baby dust to you. x

Oh wow I've missed so many posts since I last checked in. Hope to join the Facebook group too if the description is now updated I'll have a search in a bit :)

I am so drained had a 2 hour nap after work. Waited 3 weeks for my Drs app to be told I self refer to midwife which annoyed me so much as I specifically asked if I could self refer and was told I had to see a Dr. Waste of my time. Although Dr said I'm due 27th April.
Referred to midwife today and they say I'm due 29th of April. No-one can deciede on my date so will hopefully get a better date at my scan Saturday can't wait!

I've just requested to join the group and just hope no-one else I know clicks as it still says used to be may 2020 babies 🤦🏻‍♀️ oops

Hey everyone, how are you all feeling now? I’ve started to get proper cramps now, fingers crossed it’s a good sign. Nausea still not too bad although changing DD nappy is making me gag!! I still haven’t phoned to make a midwife appointment yet. Are they usually about 8weeks?

Also I will hopefully join the Facebook group but will wait till after my 12week scan as I really don’t want to risk having a miscarriage conversation with all my random Facebook friends! Hopefully some of you will keep posting on here for a little while yet!
