Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

I'm also using a hot water bottle to use on my tummy when I feel a bit crampy... do you think that's ok?

The NHS website said try not to use a hot water bottle more a warm one. Also says paracetamol if needed, i'd call up your GP to just advise, theres so much contrasting views on the internet you never know which ones to take haha.

@KittenMittens1 thanks. Yeah I know! Sometimes having the internet is a bad thing with all the information which is out there!

I tried to join the fb page yesterday 'may mummies'. Are they not adding anymore or something??

I've zero symptoms going on yet.. patiently waiting for some just for little reassurance

@TtcanotherG it's worrying when you have them and when you don't too. So weird isn't it

I was going to join the group but can other people on your Facebook see you are on the group??

Hi Both, I tried to join the group but people can see you joined it and they changed their name so if anyone pops on it you can see your expecting a may baby haha so i'm waiting until i've announced it before I join.

@FirstTimeMama91 good luck for your scan tomorrow! I have just booked one for when I'm approx 8 weeks (at their recommendation...) but I do wish it was sooner!
I still have no symptoms other then soar boobs in the morning, more tired then usual and constipation (sorry if tmi!), and I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. When did your sickness start? I hope you're feeling better after your scan! ❤️

@coastaldreamer yes was private I was 6+4 on my scan date and baby was 7.7mm

@sunshine8888 you said about measurements too so as above at 6+4 My little one was just 7.7mm xx

@KittenMittens1 @AlmostAlwyn it's awful isn't it 😅 I'm a foetal sleeper anyway so not finding it too bad at the moment, I work 4 nights in a row though and I'm only on night 3 and I'm shattered ( also having to make excuses not to go down to CT or MRI at work without people catching on as I'm only 5 weeks today and not ready to tell people yet)

Not sure when we're telling my parents, OH wants to wait till 12 weeks but that's so far away 😱 and we have to tell his father in 3 weeks as we're all going away together and think he will notice the signs 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I had my private scan this lunchtime and all is looking good. Bubs is 8.5mm and they have put me at 6 weeks 6 days which is 3 days ahead of what I thought. Due date is now May 1st (which is my eldest's 16th birthday so this one has better be late or she will kill me lol.

I had to have an internal scan as bubs was hiding but we saw a really strong heartbeat so it was very reassuring. Xx

@november90 my morning sickness started at 6 weeks and I'm really suffering now :( the week before I was feeling absolutely fine lol.

@flossy12 you aren't kidding, I'm so shattered and the amount of back pain is making me so grumpy! Hubby deserves an award at the moment.

@kittensmittens1 i viewed my facebook as i was a friend and you couldn't see it as closed groups don't show up on groups you have joined... only open groups. its great group and easier to keep up with i find lol x

@BlueberryPoppy123 that sounds about right as I think baby grows about 1mm a day and is around 11mm by 7 weeks 😊

@freyahan ahh are you sure, my mum saw I had joined and said it popped up on her feed that I had so I instantly left haha. she could click on but couldn't see any chat or messages just a welcome page that said what it used to be named.

play it safe i'll just leave it for now haha.

@kittensmittens1 i joined the group and my husband assured me he couldn't see that i joined and no notification either... it prob isn't 100% but its very active and a huge support that i don't wanna leave now lol but i wish it was secret

Couldn’t whoever set the group up set it as secret rather than closed and just email the necessary invite to anyone who requests it on here. That’s what they did on my last group and it worked really well. I’d like to join the Facebook group, it provided such great support last time, but I can’t take the risk of an accidental outing this early!

@BlueberryPoppy123 🤣 i think I'm either 21st or 23rd. Either way I'm secretly hoping for May 4th (international Star Wars day 😂) xx

@KittenMittens1 yes the back pain here is painful 😫 especially when works non stop

For everyone wondering the group's privacy has been changed from decret a little while back becuase people couldnt join and Facebook wont let whoever started the group change it back for a certain amount of time. However the grouo name has been chnaged a couple of time and now group history should no longer say previous called may babies.

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow... the days go so so slow when I’m counting each of them just wanting to get further and further into my pregnancy. I have decided that I can’t go on like this until my 12 week scan so have booked a private scan for 2 weeks time when I’ll be 8 weeks so hopefully they’ll be more to see.
Only £59 for the scan which I didn’t think was too bad.

@Victoria315 theres nothing like peace off mind. I hope the time goes faster for us both. I'm only 4+3.. ready to pull my hair out. Found out week ago this evening and its dragging

Found you all! Room for 1 more? Found out earlier in the week that I'll be due mid May.

No symptoms for me yet, except extreme exhaustion, but I have a stinking cold and a 1yr old that is currently waking every hour at night... another baby seemed like such a great idea until my current baby decided to regress! Maybe he's sensing a change in my breastmilk and it's unsettling him?! Hoping it passes quickly!

Had bad morning sickness with all my previous pregnancies (only 2 living children), so waiting for that to kick in for reassurance... not that it's fun!
