Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@freyahan my LMP was 18 July so similar to you! The sonographer said I might catch up with LMP, it’s hard to date this early as there’s just mms in it!

flossy12 · 11/09/2019 17:54

@november90 well I'm only over the hill really!! But I'm ringing tomorrow to check the date as the 26th Oct is a Saturday and not sure they do apps on the weekend so they? X

@Coastaldreamer yeah mine was 8th August 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've been told to take Vit D daily aswell? @TtcanotherG

flossy12 · 11/09/2019 17:56

@KittenMittens1 I'll add to spread sheet one I've had my scan 😘

FirstTimeMama91 · 11/09/2019 19:36

My booking in appointment is 28th of October 🤦🏻‍♀️ agessss away! I'll be 12+5 by then!

mussie · 11/09/2019 19:44

Hi all. Would love to join the thread. I've had two mc before and 1 ectopic. I got my BFP on 2nd September at 12dpo, but haven't really been able to believe it's real. I had a scan today at 5+0 to check whether the pregnancy was ectopic, and it's not! I have a gestational sac and yolk sac, in the uterus, and it all looks great. I'm due 13th May. There are a lot of posts here already - did I see someone mention a spreadsheet? And Facebook? I'll have a read through. If anyone can recap me, please do!

Looking forward to getting to know you all Smile

november90 · 11/09/2019 19:57

@mussie wow congratulations! What a journey you've been on, and finally the news you deserve! I don't know how ladies like you get through all that upset when I read about it, it just shows how truely strong and amazing you are!
Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy 💗

november90 · 11/09/2019 19:59

@flossy12 oh a Saturday appointment is odd isn't it? When I had my son my first midwife app was like the following week and the scan booked the same day for how ever many weeks later. That was only 2.5 years ago. It just shows how much things change!

Coastaldreamer · 11/09/2019 20:56

@flossy12 yeah folic and Vit D was recommended on the midwife referral form. Although I couldn't actually submit it today as I'm not 5 weeks yet, gotta do it Monday 🙄

@freyahan ah ok. A week or so ahead then

@BlueberryPoppy123 I'm having the same type of cramps... so annoying 🤦🏽‍♀️ but guess our bodies are just changing to make room!!

sidewaysS · 11/09/2019 21:15

Hi all! Finally feeling brave enough to join this post I've been lurking for the last 3 weeks as didn't want to post after a previous chemical! But here goes!!!
BFP about 3 weeks ago, think I will be 7 weeks on Sunday, from ovulation 8 weeks by LMP!
So due date late April/ early may!
I've been suffering with really bad sickness for the last 3 days anyone else???? It's really not what I had thought "morning sickness" would be like! It's horrendous!
Hope you are all doing well! Congrats to you all!!

KittenMittens1 · 12/09/2019 06:18

Hi guys, anyone had any light pinkish discharge after they wipe? Like really light pink. Only had a bit but should I worry.

Skiaddicted · 12/09/2019 07:10

@KittenMittens1 id give your team a call, not something ive experienced personally before. Good luck!!

May2311 · 12/09/2019 07:18

@KittenMittens1 hey! My sister had v v light bleeding throughout her pregnancy (she had twins as well). I expect it is because you will be needing to make twice the amount of room! However I would give your midwife a call just to be on the safe side. Xx

Lifesforlivingandloving · 12/09/2019 07:37

@KittenMittens1
Yes I've had the same !
It started Friday for me and then stopped Tuesday .
I went to the docs on Monday and they referred me to the EPU for an early scan which I had on Tuesday
She couldn't see a reason why I would be bleeding - everything looked fine
She said it could be where the placenta is attaching to the uterus which usually happens at around 6 weeks pregnant

Never can be too safe tho - maybe give your docs a cal and see if they can refer you ? X

FirstTimeMama91 · 12/09/2019 07:37

Congratulations @sidewaysS and @mussie

@KittenMittens1 as others have said, it's probably nothing but get it checked x

Scan is tomorrow. Keeping having crazy dreams about it 🙈😓 can't wait to just get it. Anybody else's nausea picked up at 6 weeks? 🤢 haven't been sick touch wood but just feel horrible!

Caspianberg · 12/09/2019 07:48

Had scan just now (7 am appointment here!).

All seems well, dated 6+5 weeks. Heartbeat was loud and clear. They also give you a smear test here on the first appointment. (not uk) They printed 5 photos, and put the photos and heartbeat on a usb stick.

Est. due date 2-4th May. 4th based on 28 day cycle, but mine had been 21-26 days so he said a few days earlier is likely. Next scan 9th October.

freyahan · 12/09/2019 08:30

@caspianberg that's awesome!

Alice8688 · 12/09/2019 08:42

Hello! May I join? I am only 4 weeks. Due on 21st May. Had first BFP 9dpo 🥰 hope you're all well xx

flossy12 · 12/09/2019 08:42

Starting to get sensitive nipples and still stupidly tired 😫😫 was getting so wound up at work last night and snappy had to apologise to my work friend 😂

FirstTimeMama91 · 12/09/2019 08:44

@Caspianberg Awk that's amazing 😍 iv got my scan tomorrow I'll be 6+2 don't really know what to expect to see. Could you see baby clearly or what was it like?

KittenMittens1 · 12/09/2019 08:47

@flossy12 don't get me started on boobs! mine we're aching like mad last night Confused really struggling to sleep too at the moment, trying to avoid sleeping on my back, Proving very difficult. Hmm

AlmostAlwyn · 12/09/2019 09:07

@flossy12 sensitive nipples over here too! Towel after a shower... ugh.

That's great news, @Caspianberg! I've still got almost 2 weeks to wait until my first appointment. Also expecting a smear test, so looking forward to that Wink

Welcome @Alice8688 and congratulations!

Caspianberg · 12/09/2019 09:08

@FirstTimeMama91 - it was like the size of a butterbean on the screen with a heartbeat movement in the middle. It didn't look anything like a baby shape yet, just a blob. And he showed us what was the 'yolk' sack, placenta and uterus but I couldn't have told you what was what without them pointing to everything. Then the heartbeat separate screen showed the lines up and down.

AlmostAlwyn · 12/09/2019 09:11

@KittenMittens1 you're fine to sleep on your back at the moment. It's only when the baby (or babies!) get bigger and heavier that their weight can compress the blood vessel behind the uterus when back sleeping (approx 20 weeks). Get comfortable any way you can while you can! Grin

KittenMittens1 · 12/09/2019 09:24

@AlmostAlwyn that is literally the best news i've heard all day!

Coastaldreamer · 12/09/2019 09:30

Ughhh I can totally relate on the sensitive boobs and nipples! They just feel heavier too!

Got some back pain too 🙄

We are going on holiday next week for a week so hoping I'll either get sent for a scan or do the private one once we are back and I'll be on week 7 then!
