Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

Finally got my digital confirmation today 😁 16 DPO! Super happy!!

Be interesting to know what they date you at first scan as our LMP is different isn't it? As were same DPO @Coastaldreamer

I am going to use my second test when we get home from butlins in hope to see the 3 plus weeks as it was 1-2 weeks last week and I put my self at 3 weeks tomorrow :)

@flossy12 I actually haven't rung the doctors yet as we're away. My sister had her app at about 8 weeks a couple weeks ago. We're in Lancashire but I hear it differs across the country!

I think I they find it really hard to date early! At my scan I was meant to be 7+2 but got put back to 5+5! But baby was 4.1mm and looking at others measurements many ladies were put at just over 6 weeks on that measurement so I think it differs between sonographers! Also when I got my positive the lines were really strong and the next day a clear blue digital said I was 2-3 weeks! Well if was only 5+5 at scan that means I’d have found out at 4 weeks exactly so I’d have thought the digital would have said 1-2! Apparently baby can catch up with LMP as well. So while I’m 6+2 based on that scan I think I could actually be anywhere between that and 7 weeks! Think I’ll have another scan around 9 weeks for reassurance x

@november90 I did that. A week after getting 2-3 weeks I took another and it was 3+ - it was reassuring. Use FMU though as otherwise it’s not as accurate.

Shuffles on board waving the stick I peed on. Hello ladies. So I’m about 5 weeks upduffed. I found out a week ago but have been a bit busy since. I knew I was pregnant so tested quite early. Sore boobs which I never get and excessive cervicale mucus. Neither of which has stopped. Lucky me. This will be sprog number 2. First born is a hooligan who will be 4 next month. I’m currently being lazy and haven’t phoned the doctors yet, mainly because I haven’t got around to changing doctors after we moved house last December. I am crap at life admin.

How are u feeling? I have zero symptoms at all. I expect to be hit by a bus with lots next few weeks though.

Is everyone taking their folic ladies? Its so important. My first born was born with spina bifida. I'm on the higher dose now but I'm feeling anxious. I will have lots of tests but I hope this baby is very healthy.
I have a 1 in 25 chance of spina bifida happening again. I do have little girl and boy without the condition x

To be honest last night I still thought my period would arrive 😂 as been getting on and off cramps but from all what I've read it's very common but same for no symptoms too!

Yep having my folic acid daily! Dunno whether to still take my zinc ones ?

Just called my surgery and she just gave me the community midwife number - so I'll call and they will help me out??

you can update the spreadsheet again! lol for those of you on facebook you would've seen already but i had an early scan today and have been put back a week to 5+3 weeks which makes me due around 10th may... i must've ovulated really late and had a long cycle.

could only see sac and yolk so going back in 2 weeks to hopefully see more.

@Sunshine8888 that's quite interesting as i have been put back to 5+3 weeks today but my measurement was 8.1mm

@BlueberryPoppy123 hey I was just scrolling down a few pages and saw you had the scan at 6 weeks. Was that a private scan? I'm thinking if they don't give me an early one I'll definitely pay but don't know what week to go 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've looked and it's £70 for a private one for early scans at the local clinic

@Coastaldreamer i paid £70 for the scan i had today but as they couldn't see much i get another re scan in 2 weeks

how old, how far along are you, is this your first DC or another?

@freyahan my babies are 4.6mm and 4.5mm and are measured as 6 weeks today, I don't get how they go by it all haha.

@kittensMittens1 oh wow I'm measuring bigger then that at 5 weeks! should i worry? i googled and i shouldn't of.

@Coastaldreamer i was put back a week so im now 5+3 despite my last lmp being 20th july...so i ovulated very late i guess

@freyahan 4.1mm is the CRL measurement (crown to rump) - the sac measurements will be larger. Was your CRL 8.1mm as i would say that’s about 6.5 weeks? Should be 11mm around 7 weeks. I did see a heartbeat at mine which was reassuring as well as the yolk sac x

@sunshine8888 ah ok i think as they couldn't see the baby as im early they measured the sac.. i find myself worrying over everything
