Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

I don't know how to tell hubby yet, he's due home at 4. So I better get thinking 😂

@Mrsbee I had bought a job lot online. Like a bunch of 50 of those thin one like they use at the Drs. Just the cheapo ones :)

@kittenmittens1 twins holy moly... congratulations. Twins was a fear of mine and OH I don't think I'm the type of person built to raise twins. Wish you all the luck x

I was at the diabetic pregnancy clinic yesterday and they've booked my first scan for Monday morning, in so nervous. By my dates I'll be 7+2 then. Also I feel soooooo sick!

Massive congratulations Kittenmittens!! How exciting ☺️

I've also been referred by my doctor to the EPU for a scan tomorrow morning, due to pains I've been having. Feeling very anxious and wondering what they will even be able to see as I'm so early. I'll be 5 + 1 tomorrow.

@KittenMittens1 how has your DH taken it? How did you tell him in the end?

I had an early scan today as my doctor referred me to the EPU as I've had some light spotting and dull aches in my groin since Friday .
We got to see the little baby's heart beating today it was so amazing x indescribable ❤️
Such a relief as I was thinking all sorts and so was so worried
I thought I was 6+4 but they think more like 5+2 but I know that could change again when I have the 12 week scan 😊 x

Thanks for asking hubby took it hilariously, said oh no, we need a bigger car! 😂 Then cried haha.

We're going tonight to tell the in laws too. Didn't really want to this early but we just can't contain it any longer

As part of appointment consultant sent me to the EPAU for a scan today @ 6+3 and saw little bean, and heart beating away, 🥰 simply amazing.

@AmIseeingRight amazing news for you, first time seeing a heart beat is unbelievable 😊

I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow. Still surprised at how quick it is. It's a 3hour appointment- apparently there is a group session first. Not sure what to expect from that but hopefully I will get loads of information as i love swotting up on everything to do with babies 😂💕

I'm still feeling a bit anxious because I'm symptomless... I'm just under 5 weeks and I know it can be normal to not feel anything at this stage... but still. I guess I'm so shocked I'm pregnant, I still don't believe it! I just want to feel it if that makes sense!
I had some aching on my left ovary side today so hopefully that's normal.

Oh I've just remembered something else... I am really struggling to go to the toilet! Anyone else in the same boat? Sorry if this is tmi! But it's awful! 🙈😂

Ah I've also had the same aching on my left side! I've been going crazy with worry that it might be something a bit more serious so I've booked myself in for an early private scan next week.

This is the problem with googling all the symptoms, just makes you worry a lot!

@november90 hey sweetie we're similar gestation I think! I'm 4+5 and have next to no symptoms at all 😅 it does make you think it isn't really happening but your right it is normal for some people to have no symptoms at this stage ☺️💞

What gestation will everyone be when they have their booking app? I'll be 11 weeks and it feels like such a wait 😫

@flossy12 I have midwife appointment today but I don't think that's my "booking" appointment. It is a group session and then I have individual appointment with midwife after where they will do basic obs. I'm 6week + 4. I then have another appointment in 2 weeks time which I believe is the booking appointment. So I'll be 8 weeks + 3 by then. 11 weeks does seem quite late - that means they will only have a week to book you in for first scan. Unless they book that in before booking appt. I wouldn't worry too much about it though as different parts of the country seem to do it differently. 😊

@flossy12 sorry! Forgot to say I don't know when I conceived so at the moment I am just going by last period! So I know I won't actually be 6+ weeks when I finally get to my scan. X

@flossy12, what is your EDD i think we might have similar dates

@May2311 Yeah I'm in yorkshire, going to ring them tomorrow ☺️ I'm going by my LMP aswell ☺️

@Skiaddicted I'm due 14th May 2020 😁 that's according to my LMP
