Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@BlueberryPoppy123 I had a 2 hour nap too, it was lovely but I'm still looking forward to my bed in a few hours 😄

@Pindlesandneedles Oh no, poor you!! My surgery said between 8 & 12 weeks although I thought 12 weeks was probably pushing it!

I'm not as crampy today which is good, was all day yesterday. I'm just shattered, went to my bed super early last night aswell but feel no benefit. Don't remember being this tired last time!

Also feeling very bloated! Is anyone else? I feel silly saying that as the baby is the size of a sesame seed 😂 so ill just say it here and not out loud to DP

I booked in with my midwife today.. she's coming out to see me on the 24th to get history, she dated me 27th april but I make it 1st may as i wasn't 28 days between and I am going to book my own private scan next week to check rather then waiting till 12 weeks.

Bit scared to join the Facebook group for the same reasons as others but I'm sure I'll fold soon and join you 😂
I'm feeling really well, just a bit tired. Had some light cramping yesterday but I think it was just because it was a non stop day.
I really want to be excited (I am excited) but this bit is so nerve wracking! Just want everything to be ok.
Last time I didn't realise I was pregnant until about 8 weeks and we were given a dating scan which put us at 10 weeks so I didn't have as long to stew...

Does anyone feel like they've imagined the whole thing?! Especially when you haven't told people. Have to keep looking at the photo of my pregnancy test!

As in we got a scan 2 weeks after testing positive and that put us at 10 weeks. Which was lovely as we were still given our 12 week scan too. I hadn't had a period after coming off the pill but got pregnant straight away which baffled us and we had no clue how far along we were.

This time round I was tracking it like a hawk 👀

Hi all, I've just received my letter for my booking scan and it's on the 3rd October. By then il be 9 weeks, 4 days. Has anyone else recieved their dates yet? I feel like mine is so far away, I'm considering calling the hospital tomorrow to see if they can offer me an earlier appointment.

@momo20 what's your due date? That does seem quite late to me! I've got my first appointment on the 24th at 8 weeks (though admittedly I'm not in the UK).

Did a cbd this morning and got 2-3 weeks 😍 glad to see progression. Will wait and do another one next Tuesday and hopefully see that 3+. 5 weeks exactly today Smile

My due date is 2nd May, have booking appointment on 12th September. That's almost 7 weeks gone for me.

@Huffthepuff omg yes i keep looking at pictures of my tests too...still can't believe it but hoping it'll all go to plan ok, is defo nerve wracking!

@Caspianberg that's good! our area doesn't see a woman for booking till 9 weeks... my appt is 24th then a scan a week after that which is october! I'm going to pay for an earlier scan

@freyahan - I think they will scan, blood test and something else at the 7 week appointment here. Not entirely sure, so I guess just have to wait until next week to see exactly.

Is anyone else now starving?! I have felt nauseous that last 2 weeks on and off, but not actual sickness.
Now, the last 3 days if i don't eat i feel faint and nauseous. Had 2 slices of toast with boiled egg at 8.30am, now its 11am and I had to eat again as was feeling dizzy. Feel fine now.
Have been up a ladder all morning painting the ceiling though!

I haven't stopped eating yesterday and today but I don't think I can really blame the pregnancy 🙈 think I'm just giving in to temptation more than I would normally! Craving chocolate even though I don't have a sweet tooth though so maybe 🤔

@Caspianberg in my first pregnancy I was so hungry! I had to eat before bed or I'd be woken up by hunger in the night!

@Caspianberg I am so hungry most of the time & if I don't eat I feel sick. I started drinking ginger & lemon tea today & it seems to have helped 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Hi everyone

Welcome and congratulation to all the new ladies. 🎉 hope everyone is well.

I got my booking in for the 18th Sept and scan on 16th Oct. so it's feels a bit more real but still no symptoms so compared to my 1st I sometimes forget I'm pregnant 🤷‍♀️. I don't want to worry but can't help it so did another CB and got 3+Wks so now just waiting to book private scan for reassurance in just over 2 weeks when I will be 8wks.

Hi everyone, sorry for going quiet for a few days, been revising lots for the big test and also been completely exhausted and sleeping lots. Sadly today I made the mistake of re-testing (prev mc - the anxiety never really goes away) and the line was much fainter. This evening I did a CB digi and it said not pregnant, said 1-2 last week. And now I’m sitting in the early pregnancy unit because o had a bit of bleeding. So all not good. I’ve been here before so I know what this is, still feels shit though. If anyone has any prayers to spare tonight please send one up for my tiny lost baby. Good luck to everyone here, I hope you all have wonderfully happy and healthy pregnancies and beautiful little May babies. I can’t quire bear to take myself off the roll call so I’ll let you do that when I’m gone.

I cannot imagine how you are feeling, your post has bought me to tears. I'm so sorry. I assume someone is with you at the EPU?

Thanks @mintbear. My husband is here. We left my toddler with our neighbours so that he could come, they’re amazing. Not really sure why I’m here waiting for a doctor less qualified than I am to tell me what I already know, but apparently it’s important to get checked. Sorry for putting a downer on the board, just didn’t want to disappear and not say why.

I'm glad you've got your hubby with you as I'm sure waiting around the EPU is the last place you want to be right now. It's not a downer on the board, don't think of it like that. Reminder to be kind to yourself over the next few days x
