@boodles101 good luck today, you get to meet TWO babies!
@happydays00 that's great news, well done little Max!
@karigan195 that sounds terrifying. Have they offered you a debrief and some post natal support? In the meantime, kangaroo care sounds just like what you all need.
@megan2018 @happydays00 yeah, the hypos stopped immediately. No more testing! I feel a bit validated though because despite the consultant and diabetic nurses insisting my numbers were great, the aneasthetists weren't happy with how low they were before and during the ELCS. I had to get glucose gels squirted into my mouth!
@knobjockey if it helps, R was predicted to be 7.5lbs and was 8.5lbs a week later. So far he's worn DDs stuff which was up to 1 month but possibly shrunk in the wash. And another up to 1 month outfit from Mothercare which fitted well. We don't have anything in newborn size bit I don't think he really needs it.
@florencenotflo oh the cuddles! I'd forgotten the cuddles when they are still all tucked up and they just rest on your chest like a wee frog. If I could hold him like that all day without falling asleep, I would. Babies cannot be cuddled too much.
