Due March 2008 - another teeny tiny thread for dial ups and mobiles

Welcome. It seems that when we get to over 400 hundred posts then dial ups and mobiles can't handle loading the threads well. Sweetkitty, I hope this helps. xx

So when is your first scan preggers?. This time next week I shall have seen junior. Had a bit of nausea this morning, but still no sickness and I'm now in the 12th week. Does this mean that I could of missed out on morning sickness? [fingers crossed emoticon]

preggersagain · 13/08/2007 11:50

my scan- no idea!! nothing yet, no appointment for midwife no phone call or letter!

I just want to know how pregnant i am!!! i am minimum of seven weeks but could be further as i'm not too good at keeping an eye on af

3madboys · 13/08/2007 11:57

TheMaskedPoster · 13/08/2007 12:29

Hi all

wasn't going to start posting on here until after my scan - but, hey, I say one thing and do another and couldn't wait any longer (plus mumofmonsters showed me the way ).

haven't read through the thread yet - but congrats to all.

I am (I think) about 9 weeks pregnant, but concerned that I may be further along see here

right, will endeavour to read through the thread now (3 year old depending!)

spugs · 13/08/2007 13:09

WinkyGirl · 13/08/2007 14:12

Had the scan and saw our beanie with it's flickering heartbeat. It is measuring correct for dates (8.5 weeks) and all looks well.

Jackstini - hope your scan is going well

Spugs - hi!! Glad you are getting symptoms - must be very reassuring.

spugs · 13/08/2007 14:34

keep on feeling fairly confident then change my mind and worry that im having a mmc . only 3 and a half weeks till im 12 weeks and a scan so hopefully the time will fly.

winkygirl - im glad your scan went well

PurlyQueen · 13/08/2007 14:58

Afternoon everyone!
I had a scan on Friday at 7 weeks and was amazed to see that it looked like a little bean. I don't know what I was expecting to see.
Now I worry when i feel dreadful and worry even more when I feel fine.

This morning I woke up feeling relatively OK and my paranoid mind went into overdrive. But after lunch the excess saliva returned, so that has put my mind at rest.

I know I'm going to worry until my next scan until my next scan in a couple of weeks, and then the scan after that ....

TheMaskedPoster · 13/08/2007 15:08

yes, I think paranoia rules supreme at this stage , roll on the 12 week mark indeed!

glad the scans are going well : Winkygirl, PurlyQueen and all.

glammarjoram · 13/08/2007 16:03

Hello all, been away and also had no PC for 10 days. After I got used to it it was strangely liberating but I seriously missed Mumsnet. Awful about Sweetkitty, posted on her thread and hope she's doing ok. Welcome to all the newbies. All this talk of constipation...... I had that for a while but now I have had days of the opposite. With very little warning........sorry tmi but I can't afford the loo roll budget any more!!!! Might get some of that moist toilet tissue, treat myself
Hope every one is ok. Have a good Monday evening. I went back to work after 2 weeks off. How hideous is that? Oh and continuing the scan photo conversation....the Royal London charges £5.00!!!!! And in the deprived East End as well.

Jackstini · 13/08/2007 16:12

Winkygirl - great news on your scan - v pleased for you.
Bad news here I'm afraid. Have had a missed mc - was 9+3 but looks like baby died at approx 5/6 weeks. Just got to decide now whether to wait for things to happen naturally or take the medical way... sure I will find some help on the mc threads
Good luck to everyone else on here and I hope to be on another ante-natal thread soon x

glammarjoram · 13/08/2007 16:19

oh, Jackstini, so sorry. I wish you all the best. I'm sure you will find lots of support on here. Thinking of you.

WinkyGirl · 13/08/2007 16:21

Oh Jackstini, I am so sorry. Hope you get all the support/answers you need. They/we are a lovely bunch on the mc section. And all the best for the future. Sending hugs xxxx

TheMaskedPoster · 13/08/2007 16:23

oh Jackstini! poor thing.

wish you all the best

xxxx

PurlyQueen · 13/08/2007 16:53

Has anyone else had excess saliva and is there a way to get rid of it? It's driving me mad although I'm sure it's preferable to morning sickness

turtle23 · 13/08/2007 17:10

Jackstini- I'm so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you. xxx

yardette · 13/08/2007 17:56

merryberry · 13/08/2007 18:16

skidoodle · 13/08/2007 19:51

so sorry to hear that jackstini take care of yourself.

hey everyone,

exciting (and kind of scary) to hear about the scans.

3MB - glad you're feeling a bit better.

I felt a lot less tired than usual this morning but then really sick at home time. At the very least I'm getting more used to the whole thing.

wow I'm watching Bullseye (this is how lazy I've become) and the prizes are so rubbish. I guess the world was a lot less sophisticated in the 80s.

MerlinsBeard · 13/08/2007 19:59

Jackstini, i am so so sorry please take time time to grieve properly and look after yourself xx

Spugs, glad you are back! was beginning to get worried! No scan yet, not even booked in with mw!!! How many weeks are you now? 8?9? coz whatever you are (and is it winky too?) then i am either that or a weeek behind. No way of truely knowing untilthe scan really.

monthlymayhem · 13/08/2007 23:42

Jackstini, really sorry to hear that, take care of yourself xx

Tiredness has definitely hit the last couple of days, and today I'm so bloated I honestly look like a beached whale Going on holiday to the sun for two weeks tho , can't wait (but also not looking forward to wearing a bikini!)

I'm 8+5 ish so have scan booked for the week after I come back when I should be 12 weeks - v excited and v nervous all in one.

I probably won't get to post until I get back so hope everyone has a good two weeks, take care of all the beanies and hope those with scans go well.
xx

imjin100 · 14/08/2007 10:07

big cyber hug jackinsti, really sad news and hope you'll be well looked after.

FlameBatfink · 14/08/2007 12:04

TMP!!!

TheMaskedPoster · 14/08/2007 12:10

ahhh Flame .. I see my (not so) secret is out!

Well, have a dating scan booked for tomorrow morning, so I will know at last if I am 9 weeks or 15 weeks .. I have my fingers crossed for 9 weeks so here's hoping!

Still feeling nauseous, and have bought a pack of gingernuts in hope of some relief!

MerlinsBeard · 14/08/2007 13:45

Flame (didn't know where else to reply lol!) i thought you were hiding from me
