Couldn't see that anyone had started another thread after we filled up the last one, so hopefully I haven't made a double...

@Nic45 Wow, what a lovely baby boy! Huge congratulations and my best wishes to you and your family!

Unsureursula · 25/10/2019 20:27

@ruralcat I completely agree- the days I’ve worked from home are when my body isn’t in agony! Only on train home from work now- been there since just after 9 this morning! Dreaming of food and hopefully a good nights sleep!

ruralcat · 25/10/2019 22:20

@Unsureursula well done you! Now hopefully baby lets you put your feet up for a little bit before making their arrival. I'm planning on a very relaxed weekend but who knows whether that will happen.

PyjamasForever · 25/10/2019 23:26

Congratulations @Nic45. Gorgeous baby!!

Hello everyone!
So baby girl decided she didn’t want to wait until Wed for the ELCS and waters went just after midnight Tue morning! Was scary and shocked at that was at 38+6! We’re completely besotted with our 6lb 6oz bundle of joy!

PyjamasForever · 01/11/2019 08:21

Congratulations @Unsureursula! Did you still end up having a section? How are you all settling in at home?

OP posts:
ruralcat · 01/11/2019 17:42

@PyjamasForever thank you. She's doing really well, feeding really well and having long sleeps! The only thing we have to crack is getting her happy to be put down, I'm really just enjoying all the cuddles at the moment though! How long have you left now?

PyjamasForever · 01/11/2019 17:47

@ruralcat 5 sleeps until my section! It took me about 2yrs to be able to put my first baby down Grin enjoy the lovely newborn snuggles. I think I'm less ready for a new baby each day, the house is messier rather than tidier!!

@PyjamasForever thanks! Yes had the CS start at 11.30am- it was a really calm experience and although I was so nervous they were really reassuring. There was some initial conversation again when I arrived a triage re did I want to try vaginal delivery which was a little confusing especially when I was in shock re waters breaking!
She is the best babu though- such a good girl!
How are you feeling?

PyjamasForever · 02/11/2019 17:07

@ruralcat It sounds like a nice experience. I'm quite looking forward to my section, I feel very safe with the team but I'm just nervous about everything afterwards. I struggled so much with pain last time. I'm also thinking of all the things that could go wrong with baby (which is just paranoia from working with sick children).

Hard to believe we are in November and people are having their babies. I haven't posted lots on here but do always read and have enjoyed hearing everyone's experiences so far.
It's one week until my due date, I have gone from being terrified about the labour to excited about it. And focussing on once he's here that it will all have been worth it.
Hope everyone is keeping well Flowers

PyjamasForever · 06/11/2019 17:10

Just to let you all know my little one arrives this morning at 0918 by Caesarian. She is just beautiful and I'm really enjoying baby snuggles.

Congrats @PyjamasForever fantastic news! Hope you’re both doing well!

PyjamasForever · 07/11/2019 05:27

Things are going great. I feel much better than after I had DS. I haven't been able to sleep all night because I've just been staring at her. How are things going for you @unsureursula?

Kaff83 · 07/11/2019 16:20

Congrats @pyjamasforever! Glad you're recovering well and enjoying your new babe!

I'm on antenatal ward as they're trying to induce me after a late growth scan showed baby is already 4kg. Nothing happening yet!

Unsureursula · 08/11/2019 06:17

@PyjamasForever that’s great to hear! I’m doing good too thanks, first 3 days were tough pain and movement wise but slowly feel like I’m getting there. As my mum keeps saying ‘it’s all behind you now’ which is true and such a great feeling!
How’s all with baby?
@Kaff83 best of luck- hope all goes well!

ruralcat · 08/11/2019 12:17

@PyjamasForever congratulations, glad all went well!

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 08/11/2019 16:12

@PyjamasForever that's great news. I'm glad to hear you're recovering well.

@Kaff83 they're not so bothered about acting on big baby's up my way. Growth scan today showed he's a whopper, I've opted for an ELCS but consultant assures me I could try a vaginal delivery.

Kaff83 · 08/11/2019 18:39

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver I think it's because they think I've got gestational diabetes which they missed til now and because my last baby's shoulders got stuck! I think otherwise they would leave me
