Couldn't see that anyone had started another thread after we filled up the last one, so hopefully I haven't made a double...

@Nic45 that sounds painful, I hope you're ok. Stay strong, Mummy!

Nic45 · 18/10/2019 23:33

Yes that's me, they really are great here x

Zarara · 19/10/2019 06:43

@Nic45 good luck, hope it’s all going well!

PyjamasForever · 19/10/2019 15:25

Hoping the lack of updates from @Nic45 means everything is going well!!

I have such terrible heartburn at the moment. Only 18 sleeps to go!!

Just going for a big walk as nothing happening 🙈

PyjamasForever · 19/10/2019 18:49

Oh no @Nic45, my induction last time was so dull. I walked around the hospital so many times and watched a lot of films on the free WiFi before anything exciting happened. Hope you get some rest overnight if things haven't kicked off yet.

Ooh good luck! First baby of the thread, how exciting!

xanderllama · 20/10/2019 21:14

I’m a bit late to this thread but I’m due with my first baby for 21st November and it’s a boy! Enjoying reading this thread, luckily I’m in the later part of November so I’ve still got some time to brace myself Grin

xanderllama · 20/10/2019 21:15

Hope you’re all ok @Nic45

Nic45 · 20/10/2019 21:17

Still the same 😳 thanks for asking x

Zarara · 21/10/2019 17:34

How’s everyone doing? I’m in to my second week of mat leave but haven’t really had any time to relax yet. Have all baby stuff sorted and hospital bag packed so it’s just a waiting game. 37+5, my ds arrived at 39 weeks so in my head I think baby will come early. Wishful thinking maybe! I’m
Starting to get more nervous about giving birth now!

babylemonade12 · 21/10/2019 17:51

My baby girl will be born in early November, I'm very excited and look forward to her birth

PyjamasForever · 21/10/2019 18:21

@Zarara I'm just desperately trying to survive half term with a 3yr old before I can start to relax next week (although my to do list is HUGE!).

I have another scan tomorrow, probably the last one before baby arrives! Just over 2 weeks to go!!

@Zarara I’m due in 4 weeks, but I’m having to take maternity leave early due to serious back pains. I’ve got a boring few weeks ahead but I’m making the most out of it by getting the baby’s bedroom sorted and out the way (my aunt has been such a huge help Smile). At least that’s one thing ticked off the list!

PyjamasForever · 22/10/2019 08:18

You're doing well @Xanderllama, my first is 3.5 and I still haven't sorted out his room!! I've told myself that I need to get to the bottom of the washing and ironing piles before this baby arrives.

I'm due in under 2 weeks now. My ribs are in agony by the end of the day as it's where baby's feet are. We've got pretty much everything for baby now I just need to wash it all this week and get the curtains up in the nursery.

PyjamasForever · 24/10/2019 17:30

How is everyone doing? I'm totally exhausted. Had my last midwife appointment before my section today, so it's starting to all feel real!!

Starting to struggle. I had loads to do today after yesterday was derailed by CTG monitoring before our holiday this weekend. Left the house at 8:20 for the school run and didn't get back until 12. My body feels broken. I cannot move ...

Midwife was running stupidly late as well so was late to pick up my eldest from school Halloween Envy

Going to let DH do all the packing tonight while I have a really hot shower to ease all my aches and pains

PyjamasForever · 24/10/2019 18:24

I definitely think you need to put your feet up @Mintypea5. It's very brave going on holiday at this stage, I hope you have a chance to relax.

Didn’t make it to the 8th of November because of low PAPPA and gestational diabetes. Induced Friday but the then found out he had turned breach in the past 2 days! Had baby turned (not nice) then started induction. Finally got a bed on delivery Sunday night after a long sleepless weekend in hospital. On hormone drip but had a lovely quick birth 4 hours 20 mins and had a lovely student midwife too.
My little man was very little at 6lb 4 and just perfect thanks all and good luck you can do it xx

@Nic45 congratulations! He's absolutely beautiful!

Zarara · 24/10/2019 21:20

@Nic45 congratulations on your beautiful baby boy! Hope you’re feeling well and enjoying the newborn cuddles.

Unsureursula · 24/10/2019 21:43

@Nic45 congrats he’s adorable!!
@Mintypea5 hope you have a fave holiday with the family- I’m sure when you’re there you’ll be delighted!!
@ruralcat I’ve got the awful rib pain too- couldn’t sleep last night with it. Really need to sleep tonight as last day in work tomorrow and have sooo much to do!
At least we’re all getting close now Smile

ruralcat · 24/10/2019 21:44

@Nic45 congratulations, he's gorgeous!

ruralcat · 24/10/2019 22:08

@Unsureursula I feel like the end is in sight! Hopefully you'll be able to take it easy after tomorrow, I'v noticed I'm in a lot more pain when I'v been busy rushing around compared with when I'v not (though that doesn't happen often).
