I did it (slightly adjusted the wording - is it OK?)!!! Now all we've got to do is a link from the old one to the new one - I'll leave that to somebody a bit more competent!

By the way, I just go laalalaalalaaa when you guys talk about epidurals/pain relief etc. I really didn't enjoy having one when I had DS but I had to as they had put me on a drip and all sorts and I had lots of complications. Ended up with even more severe migraines for years afterwards too. Didn't have one with DD1 and much preferred the whole experience. If I can get away with it this time, I'm going to try and avoid having one (obviously can't predict how things will go!). Gas & Air me up all the way!!!

canadianmum, you should have got iron-on labels, especially with 2 to do. I use them and they are just fab. 15 seconds with an iron to bond and they are done. When I re-use clothes I'm just going to iron on the next name.

Welcome kelmcd, its always great to see new faces, well not literally see you, but you know what I mean.

Hey everyone, you know I was moaning a few weeks ago that dh doesn't look after his fish tanksb, and that I've been putting up with green/brown smelly stagnant 'orrible fish water in my living room. Well,

Chattyhan · 18/08/2007 17:50

Hi Kelmcd - to answer your question yes i've been using all sorts of lotions and potions - i must have spent a fortune and it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Last time i moisturised after bath/shower with ordinary creams. This time i've used avent cream/spray and bio oil morning and evening and still those stretch marks appear!!!

FlossALump · 18/08/2007 18:01

I've not gone overboard with creams, just used boots round pot of stuff and their stretch mark cream, boots expert I think it is. TBH I've been quite slack at putting it on of late, but will never know if the new marks are because of a lack of creams or just would have occurred anyway.

Canadianmum, I had exactly the same thing in M and S. To be fair I was there with my delightful two year old causing chaos (why does it only ever seem as though its my two year old does this???), but they were not at all keen. At least a half hour wait and 'ohh, not till 38 weeks, really.' Well I had DS at 37+6 and spent the afternoon after my waters went out shopping for nursing bras. I'm keen not to repeat the experience! In the end I didn't bother and we went to mothercare, really nice girl in there, who advised waiting till 37/38 but measured me with a little extra room - 38E! Last time my rib measurement was a 40 so really am hoping I've not porked it up so much this time! Was a 36B.

KelmCD I reckon the best things to have that I didn't have last time would be lip balm and a sports cap water bottle. In intense labour you're not really able to reach out for a glass of water, let alone get the glass to your mouth. By getting a bottle with a flip up/down lid on it if it gets tossed to one side it won't matter. And it is rather thirsty work!!

Speaking of which I am soooo thirsty all the time atm!

canadianmum · 18/08/2007 18:51

kelmcd - everyone recommends taking your own pillow, most hospitals only give you one and it is lovely to have your own. I am also going to take my lovely birth ball (which I am sitting on now!) to bounce around on and drape myself over. And take some food and drinks for you and partner. Hospital food is definitely not moreish .

Sorted out lo's cupboards today, now realised I don't have enough sheets and I thought my shopping was done. can always use pillow cases in a pinch.

I am loving the cool weather but would be nice to see some sun, or am I asking too much?

Chattyhan · 18/08/2007 19:14

I got measured for a nursing bra at 36 wks last time at M&S and i made sure there was room in the cup and i could tighten the back and they fitted fine i didn't need to buy another size even after milk came in and i went back to be measured again. This time went to get measured at 34 wks and they said 'too early' so i said they think baby will be early and i need to get organised! they didn't argue. I've only bought one for the moment a bargain from debenhams new miriam stoppard range (£16) i've got my old ones so that'll do for first few weeks!

Hospital bag tips - bottle of lucozade for afterwards! Paracetamol - i waited 4 hrs for someone to get me some so this time i'm taking my own (for afterpains). I've also packed some antibacterial wipes for those grubby bathrooms (someone elses tip but to remind)! lots of cotton wool for nappy changes...

hayley2u · 18/08/2007 19:29

well i was 34 dd before i was even preggers now somewhere in between e/f. i did get measured but i still wear the underwire as the others are so uncomfortabl, i know naughty me,
got a friend coming round tonight, due to fact been so lonely, as ds back tommorrow, feel really boring though got no wine or anything to offer her, hope she dont mind.
could really do with a girly gossip though, feel like iv missed everyone lately.
what everyone else doing this lovely saturday?

Chattyhan · 18/08/2007 19:41

Hayley - i'm on my own! Don't even have anyone coming round so just the tv to keep me company. It has been nice to have a quiet day - spent most of it online (bought a pushchair) and done a few chores. I keep losing track of time because there's no DS to distract me! lol

kyala · 18/08/2007 21:26

Evening all!
This'll be quick one (well, compared to my usual banging on. . .)

HIWBB: I've found changing girly nappies really easy, also my DD doesn't seem to get it in her "folds" as, when she's pooing, her legs are generally close together, and I can't remember any of the nasty sticky poo's being too bad either but then she is a little angel for her mummy!!
Am getting a bit (more?!!) angsty now, about meeting LO, I just want to get on have my baby, so sick of feeling heavy etc, although have had a couple of nice comments this week about weight loss/"trim" looking (which, for me, is amazing!! Haven't been called "trim" looking since I was 19!!)
Hope your neck starts to ease up a bit soon, sounds really bad (what with even the physio exclaiming on it!!)

Floss: I'm having that "swinging" feeling, if you get what I mean LOL, one minute I'm telling people I think it'll be early the next I'm just thinking my dates should be later (as they were with DD, I was a lot closer on the mark than doc's cos I knew which days I would've conceived as we were trying, and again this time there was only a small gap at the end of December that it could've happened!)
Ooh I'm due on the 12th too, race you?!!
Ooh you're thirsty too?! I've been getting sparkling water the past couple of days, and I can't stand drinking plain water, it's the funny plasticcy taste that I'm actually craving!!

Kelmcd: Welcome to the group! In ref to the oil thing, is that the bio-oil? I've been told loads by different friends about it but only one of them actually found it worked (and at that price it might not be worth doing it long term) I guess it's down to skin type!
With my last pregnancy I used the Therapy bar from Lush and found that really helped (it helps to keep using it after LO is born too) and am back using that this time too, and it smells gorgeous!!

Sophus: I know what you mean too, I'm ready but still haven't sorted my hospital bag (oh yeah. . . .must get on to that tomorrow LOL)
Have managed to buy, and start using the bed pads though
And people keep asking me what we need and I can't think, as we've now got loads of clothes but not sure how much bedding we'll need etc (can't think how much we used for DD, 2 years is a while to think back!)

ATM I'm wearing my old nursing bra's, cos they're really comfy
Thanks for the paracetamol tip Chatty, will deff put some of that in the bag, and vaseline for LO's bum, referring to someone's earlier Q I don't think baby oil will work the same as it soaks into the skin, whereas Vaseline sits on the skin so creates a greasy surface to just wipe off with the sticky poo, (hope that makes sense )

Right, I'm off again to get some fizzy water
Hope you're all having a good weekend, I am, sort of, despite the awful weather, still at least I'm not getting married (a friend's friend is and it absolutely hammered it down today, feel V sorry for her!)

Night ladies, sorry if I missed anyone out, which I more than likely did as I'm skimming tonight

dal21 · 18/08/2007 22:49

Hi everyone

Well I had a little nerve wracking day - my obs told me last week that if I thought bub was moving less to go in and have a CGT done, which i did this afternoon. The trace was fine, but have to go back tomorrow and have another one done to be on the safe side. Looks as though I will be having additional monitoring (of which i am very grateful obv) unless this LO decides to have a growth spurt soon!

Just a little nerve wracking to have this suddenly come up - but looking on the bright side, have to be grateful that it was picked up straightaway. Am keeping fingers and toes crossed that LO manages to keep healthy growth and stay put for a while yet - as I understand that if they start to get really worried, bub comes out!

Sorry about the me post. Needless to say - my mind is filled with stuff like getting the hospital bag packed tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is ok
xx

sparks02 · 19/08/2007 05:23

Hi everyone
As you can probably guess i can't sleep!
Went to bed at 2 and woke up at half 4 and can't get back to sleep so i thought i'd catch up on all the mumsnetting.
There is always so much to catch up on!

I've been laughing at all the posts re changing nappies... as this is my first i can't say i'm experienced in either!

I hope everyone experiencing health troubles make a speedy recovery. I think i've been very lucky with this pregnancy and no problems to report. Sometimes i feel a bit too good seeing as i'm due in 2 weeks, was expecting to start feeling really rough by now and fed up but not so far... I really can't wait to meet my little girl though!

I had an exciting day today, my friends threw me a baby shower and it was lovely. Also got LOTS of beautiful presents for both me and baby which is great. She now has a stylish new wardrobe for when she arrives, and i've got a very cozy new dressing gown which i don't think i'll ever take off!

Anyway i should go and try to get some more sleep!
Have a lovely sunday everyone,

sparks02 · 19/08/2007 05:30

oh forgot to say a big thanks to dal for arranging the email list

sophus · 19/08/2007 09:14

well we had a fun sat night stuck in addenbrokes hooked up to monitor as baby hadn't moved all day. Was all okay in the end, but they couldn't get it to move as much as they wanted so sent me home to sleep and told me to have a sugary breakfast. Needless to say baby has done nothing but wriggle ever since i got home. Grrr pesky baby.

hayley2u · 19/08/2007 10:09

sophus poor you. these babys dont half play tricks on us. i had ro go in several weeks back and whilst i was there started playing, made a liar out of me she did lol.

cant believe how times ticking on i'v got about 3 1/2 weks to go depending on when they take me in. got so much to get and sort. will have to get dp painting as wont have time after baby comes.
had a nice evening just sat in with friend, watched x factor etc and had good girly gossip. cant wait to have my body and mind back and to be able to have nice evening out with them all, oh the sacrifices lol.
got loads to do today.ds is coming home today yey god iv missed him so much, house was so quiet but sure he will put stop to that.
going to centre parks tomorrow, any one know where i can get a nice swimming costume to cover my big belly which is reasonably cheap. going totake some shorts no way showing these beastly legs to anyone?

Hopeitwontbebig · 19/08/2007 13:34

Dal, good luck today with the trace. Like you say, it is a bit of a shock to be having these worries at this stage, but the good thing is they sound like they're looking after you well. I'm sure bubba will be fine Keep us posted won't you. x x

PurpleLostPrincess · 19/08/2007 13:51

Goodness me, it has taken me nearly 2 hours to read through all the posts I've missed, that'll teach me!

I thought I'd do 2 posts - one to catch up with everybody and then one with my news and general stuff! Here goes...

chattyhan - glad the growth scan went OK. Glad you're making the most of your time without DS although I know what its like to miss them terribly! How are you doing with the crutches - I truly empathise! Had a look on your profile and love your bump - noticed you watched dejavu lately, we watched it the other night and it was fab! Sorry you had to clear up poo girl's mess - my DS was just really sick (migraine) and I struggled to clear it up (he's 13 so its just like adult sick - yuck!!).

HIWBB - Sorry to hear you've got to have physio for your neck, hope it helps! Glad to hear things are going as smoothly as they can with DH's recovery and that they've got the top guys looking after him.

MrsMar - yay that the house seems to be nearing being finished! Don't be fooled - I still had to give DS the 'talk' - I'm very blunt with him! Having said that, he is 13 now and I'm dreading walking in on him having a fiddle!

MrsBumbleBee - glad your DH is getting on with the nursery, I think mine is getting there too! (see my next post lol)

Edie - glad all is OK, you have a lovely pic!

kinki - I'm not capable of doing much at all now and the whole family find it quite amusing at times. At least we can all laugh about it but I have to say I'm close to tears at times! I can't wait to have a fully functioning body back!

ECATLM - I've got legs like an elephant now, isn't it awful!

amyclaramum - thank you motherhysteria for updating us, give her our love and hope all is well!

dal1 - yay on starting your maternity leave! I have to say I wonder how I ever had time to work before lol! Hope you enjoy your rest!Thank you for sorting out all the contact details, I got the e-mail

FilBrit - hellooo over there!! How lovely to hear from you - hope you get the date soon, how exciting!

hayley - enjoy your time without the DC's but again, I know how strange it can feel! I was very self conscious about going swimming but found that if I took in a big ring, I could lean forward on it and it felt like lying on my tummy - having the water take my weight was bliss!! I had a show with DD1 (2nd baby) but I'm sure it was at least a week before she was born...

ccpink - hope you're feeling better? Hope things are OK with your mum?

toadstool - I've had a nightmare with the whole codeine issue (see next post!) so was interested to hear about your experience... hope you're coping OK?

MMooMar - hope all goes well with your mum tomorrow ((hugs))

canadianmum - happy belated birthday! My stretchmarks are everywhere and some are even purple but that's a good thing with me lol! Having had one of each, I've had the luxury (right word!?) of changing both boys and girls. As far as name of bits go, we call girly bits 'woo-woo' as I can't stand the idea of saying 'vagina'!

Hello to everybody else - kyala, loopylou, floss, rin, sophus and MrsFish - sorry if I've missed anybody out but hugs to everybody!!! ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

OP posts:
PurpleLostPrincess · 19/08/2007 14:10

OK, sorry I havnen't been around lately but things have been manic to say the least!

First of all, I've posted pics on my profile so you can all have a laugh - I'm sure my bump is bigger than the pic usually but maybe baby was lying in a different position!? Loving all your pics of bumps, its brill to be able to compare!

I've put on 10 kilos in this pg so far (1st 8lbs I think?) so I'm really chuffed with myself as I wasn't exactly thin to begin with!

I suppose the most interesting news is that I spent most of Wednesday up at the Daily Assessment Unit... My oedema was so bad that it hurt and I had had a headache for a few days so I went up to get checked out. They were really busy so it took ages but I can't complain as they were really lovely. I was monitored for a good hour and lo was asleep for half of it then nice and active! Even the doctor was impressed with my swelling - you've only got to touch my leg/ankle and its dented for a good ten minutes! My hands aren't much better either. Whilst there, DH was in a bit of a state (anxiety etc kicked in and it hit me that he isn't going to be much use when I have this lo!). He went to sleep in the chair and I balled my eyes out, after that, the doctor was convinced I should stay overnight to get a good nights sleep - managed to get out of that!! The upshot is that I don't have pre-eclampsia because taking codeine has relieved the headache. However, I was told off for not taking my codeine regularly and advised to take it properly, even if I have to get laxatives. The doctor would prefer me to be in less pain and having more sleep than in a state like I was! I wouldn't mind but the pharmacy wouldn't sell me codeine on the way home because I'm pg!!!! The reason I was avoiding them in the first place was becuase I didn't want to cause any problems with lo so I'm interested to know more about the side-effects etc.

I was given strict instructions to rest so I've been trying to but it never works does it!?

So, after that drama, I'm now worried about being ready so my mission this week is to have my hospital bag packed properly (have bought everything but not put it all together)... I desperately need to get to all the baby clothes to wash them too!

We went round a few shops yesterday to look at wallpaper for the nursery so we can get going with decorating it. I was going to have all neutral colours - browns/beiges/creams etc. but DH declared in Homebase that he wants all girlie baby colours - talk about a change in role!!!! I'm usually the one begging for purple but he convinced me to get some purple wallpaper with hearts all over it - I nearly fell over!!

I wouldn't mind but we only went to homebase, b&q and sainsburys but I'm still knackered from walking around on my crutches - what fun!!!

I know what you all mean about independence and losing it etc. I've always been the main earner around the house and I'm really worried about how we will survive! I'm so pleased DH seems to be getting back into his work now but his wage is considerably less than mine was (less than half!). I'm sure we'll get there!

I bf for a few weeks with both DS and DD1 but weaned them onto bottles at about 6 or 8 weeks so I'm hoping to do the same this time. I wanted to bf for much longer with them but both times ran out of milk and DD1 kept falling asleep on the breast. DH is really freaked out about it bless him, not sure why!? So, I'll just do a few weeks then go over to the bottle...

Have we heard anything from lou lately?

I'm also swaying from a mild state of panic to a comfortable laid back attitude. People keep saying "are you sure you'll make it to the end of Sept?!" to which I reply "yes, I went over by a week with my other two!" - purely because I don't want to set myself up for being anxious if this one does come late. On the other hand, I just want to be ready and for this lo to come as soon as possible!! Oh, to cuddle her in my arms!!!

Well, I think that's me caught up with everything!

Again, hugs to everybody!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh, meant to say - my swelling (feet/legs/ankles) is so bad that I have to go up and down the stairs one at a time as it hurts to bend my left leg forward too far - is anybody elses this bad? I know from seeing the doctor at the DAU that its not anything serious but just wondered if anyone else was suffering this badly?

OP posts:
canadianmum · 19/08/2007 15:43

plp - I had dreadful swelling in my last pregnancy, but that was because of pre-eclampsia. I remember it being terribly painful and it was such a relief to get rid of it a day or so after the birth. You have all my sympathy. Have they given you anything to take for it? Does it help to drink loads of water? You poor thing, just a few weeks to go.......

sophus and dal - so sorry to hear you have had worries about your los. It will all probably turn out to be nothing but it is good that you are having good care from the experts. These bubbas have no idea what they are putting us through do they? Just think, when they are teenagers you can say "you worried me sick when I was pregnant with you so you can bloody well stay home tonight rather than go out with your dodgy friends!!". what do you reckon?

flossalump - you mentioned your 2 year old causing chaos in a shop. I haven't yet met a 2 yr old who DOESN'T cause chaos in shops. I avoided humiliating scenes in shops by virtually NEVER taking mine shopping. When my dt2 was 3 we went into Sainsburys to buy a pumpkin for Halloween and he said "Mummy, where are we?" . Not looking forward to the toddler phase with this one .

Have had an interesting time this morning trying to trim my .... errr..... what are we calling it on here .... "ladygarden"? Crikey, it was a challenge but seems less jungle-like now. It will have to do until this bump goes. Now I just need to get my hair cut and have a pedicure and I will be ready .

MMooMar · 19/08/2007 15:51

Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing OK.

Welcome back Sparks and welcome on board kelmcd.

Thanks for all the well wishes for my mum guys, she went on Friday for the tests but wont have any results until Wednesday this week so we are just having to wait.

Went for my scan on Friday to see if the placenta had moved and thankfully it has moved out the way so I am glad about that.
They measured LO and s/he is spot on the with the personalised growth chart so all is going well. They think it weighs just over 6LB at the moment and if I manage to get to 40wks will be around 8LB so just a nice size.LO was very active as usual and sonographer had to chase it round to get the measurements so I bet it will be a real wriggly one .Head still not engaged but it is still head down facing inwards so hopefully will stay that way and not move to a back to back postion with the placenta being on the front and all that.

Still cant believe I have made it past 36 wks was conviced this one would be early too.Would really like to get to September, even just to the 1st,that`s my sisters birthday, she would love it but just so when it goes to school it will be one of the oldest in class and not one of the youngest....daft eh!

Cheers for the list Dal,have emailed all on it with my real name as I forgot to let you have it.Good luck with the trace today.

Had to laugh at the boys/girls nappies and stuff,I have said exactly the same to some mates. I have to say changing a lad is no sweat and its funny we all do the same sort of thing to stop being wee`d on.But one mate did say changing a girl with all the nooks and cranies was not nice,as I had imagined.

PLP I have had pain in the groin area for a couple of weeks now and it is murder when I walk, kills me to put my left leg forward.I was wondering if LO was lying on a nerve or something.Might ask MW on Thursday (god there again!)if this might be the case.Top of my bump is very sore just lately too....oh the joys!

Not gone for any nursing bras yet, must go and get sorted out ,want to get one of those widgey feeding cushions as well, got fed up last time trying to stuff cushions and pillows into the right postion for feeding DS so going to try one of those.

Been buying loads of little presents for DS,like cars and anything to do with spongebob,so I can put them in the moses basket and let him find ever now and then and say they are off the LO.Hoping he will then see the LO as a good thing.....Is it wrong to bribe them so young ?

Everyday I think ohh...not much more stuff to get then I think of something else...still that never stops I dont suppose even when they have left home!lol.

Envious of all who can mess with their pushchairs in the living rooms(its not sad we have all done it)Still waiting for the new one to arrive so I can do it...serves me right for not ordering it earlier.

Anyway going to go now, might have a bit of a nap[wink.
Love to all,take care.

dal21 · 19/08/2007 16:25

Hey everyone!

Glad you all got the email! Not a problem to organise.
The trace went really well today - LO was back to normal activity levels and more to the point, because I had last night to read up on it all and understand more, I was more with it today. My obs called to see how I was and explained everything. Am back in tomorrow for blood flow to be checked. If that is still ok - then I am fine.

Either way, am feeling fine about whatever needs to be done. Fingers and toes!

PLP - hope you feel better soon! I feel as though I should set up camp in the hospital! By tomorrow would have been there 4 times in 6 days! If I hadnt started maternity leave already, then this would have meant it got started anyways!

Hope you have all had good weekends and the rain has not wrecked anyones weekend.

MrsFish · 19/08/2007 18:44

Hello all, I am so tired I can't think of replying to everyone, you have all been so chatty So much so, below is just copied from the Oct thread

God I am so tired and my bump seems to have grown again in the past couple of days. My ankles have swelled for the first time this pregnancy, must be due to all the standing up yesterday. Also my left leg hurts, not sure what I have done to it, but whenever I crouch down I get a sharp pain in my left leg all down the side from knee to ankle. Prob just the fact that all the ligaments are loosening etc, but I keep forgetting about it till I crouch down to pick something up and my leg gives way on me I can tell its nearing the home straight now, 6 weeks today, everything is such an effort and all my joints ache with the extra weight.

On an upnote, the wedding yesterday was fab even though the weather was atrocious, it rained practically all day and night and the field the marquee was in did become very muddy, but they had done it so nice inside and it was very spacious so was quite happy inside. The food was fab and it was a free bar although I couldn't partake DH drank enough for both of us. We left quite early (10.30pm) as I was knackered, but it was a wise decision, if we had stayed till the end (1am) I am sure DH would have been unconscious. The happy couple are now on their way down to Heathrow as I type this for a month long honeymoon in Australia - its alright for some Bride looked absolutely stunning I felt very heffer like by comparision. Can't wait to be able to start dieting again and get my body back in to some kind of shape.

Anyway enough about me, hope you all had a good weekend

ccpink · 19/08/2007 18:47

dal - great news, glad all fine.

plp - what a nightmare you're having. Pain sounds dreadful. I was moaning that didn't know how much longer I can lug the baby around but you make me seem like a wimp Especially as you're so positive. You're an inspiration!

moomar - I feel same about school and birthdays - as a teacher you can often really tell the difference so am really pleased to be end of sept.

I'm semi-nervously awaiting in-laws. On their way back from heathrow now. I wanted to have a nap but cleaning up has taken me so long I don't have time now! I should really go and make myself look a bit more presentable but no motivation. Having someone to stay for a week when you're 35 weeks preggers no longer seems like a good idea! Speak soon if I survive the week

FlossALump · 19/08/2007 19:18

I've had a lovely day out too! . Got up this morning and, err, opened my bowels. When I wiped at the front I found fresh blood. I freaked a bit tbh. Had my bath, then went and had a cold drink and a lay down, satisfied myself baby was moving. Looked at my notes and it said to contact if any bleeding, so rang delivery suite. Went in at about 12 midday, after dropping DS round my poor shell shocked friend - I don't actually think she was up when I rand! Just got home about half an hour ago. Apparently today was a very busy day.

Upshot is all is fine. It is most probably to do with the recurrant thrush I have had (although it's feeling ok down there atm!!). Only thing worrying me slightly was the HR would go up to 200 bpm. However, for some reason whenever babies HR has been monitored it has tried to kick the device away, today was no different! I'm blaming its father for tetchiness!! Seemed to get a few hints from medical people I saw today that labour wouldn't be too far away, but not sure if they were just saying it to make me feel better. Ah well. Will just have to wait and see. Oh and nag DP about that Tens machine...

PLP, sorry you are so swollen and generally feeling rotten. I hope you don't go over this time!!

Canadianmum, your story made me LOL! Bless your DS.

Dal, glad your monitoring went well today.

I'm beginning to think I have missed something with all these emails - would anyone mind telling me what?

CCpink, I'd die if my MIL came to stay for a night with us, let alone a week! Good luck.

MooMar, good news about your placenta!

MrsFish, any chance of resting that leg a while? Even with a DS?!! [fingers crossed emoticon]!!

I'm getting loads of lower bump pain. Enough to stop me from what I am doing! I had similar with DS last time (think they're braxton hicks but feel very different to the obvious tightenings I get at the top of the bump IYSWIM?), but I don't remember them being so frequent. Speaking of which I've not had any of my RLT today! Must have some tonight.

hope everyone has a good week - last full week of August I think? A happy thought!!!!!

Flossalump - no chance of resting, will just have to try and remember to be careful when getting down and back up again from the floor.

Is there a certain time when lo's stop moving around so much? I am 34 weeks today and my ds2 to be is a right fidgit, I'm sure he must be doing complete 180's inside, it feels like it anyway. I can go from suddenly wanting a wee to a number two to being ok again in seconds with his constant turning and pressing down on my insides I should be grateful he is moving I suppose as if he wasn't I would be worried but it is getting very uncomfortable and the odd kicks I get bloody hurt.

ccpink - I hope your week goes better than you are expecting. Will they dote on you or are you going to be running around after them?

Dal - glad everything is ok
