Due December 2019- continued

How we all doing? 😊

I’m due on Wednesday. Usually put my tree up next week but doing it today instead before baby comes! I am so bored of waiting for him to arrive now and hoping he gets a wriggle on soon!

I am loving the thought of newborn snuggles with the Christmas tree lights twinkling & Christmas movies on. Glad everyone is getting their decorations up.

I have a stretch and sweep booked in for this week (although my due date is next week!) not really sure what to expect and a little nervous to be honest.

I'm feeling a bit anxious today. Diagnosed with PUPPP rash a few weeks ago but the rash hasn't seemed to have spread away from my bump and combination of steroid cream, anti histamines and moisturiser has eased the itch quite a bit.

Last 2 days I've had lots of itching on my ankles, hands and arms but still don't seem to have the rash. Dunno if it's related to the PUPP or something else.

Sorry I don’t know anything about PUPPP but could you contact your midwife if you’re feeling anxious about it?

Seen the midwife today. I’m 39+5. Baby is 1/5 engaged and perfect position. He just needs to come out! Going again Monday when they’ll book me in for induction and offer me a sweep. Fingers crossed I don’t need to go and he arrives this week naturally!

@forevercurious definitely ask for more information on sweeps if you're unsure of what it entails. I thought it was just a "standard" part of the pregnancy process until I was actually educated on it in my birthing and Hypnobirthing classes. It should be informed consent you are giving, where it's offered on the basis of you knowing all information, rather than just telling you if baby doesn't come by xyz date we'll give you a sweep.

I'm just telling my bump every day "now you'll come on time like mummy did won't you?" Lol Coz I came on my due date and would mean it's not over Christmas. But we all know babies like to do what they want!

@Funnybunnyfluff just seen this as well! 8 never realised, someone must have started it without knowing this one was still active? Seen a few babies were born!

Just a little update regarding the stretch and sweep, baby Curious was born approximately 8 hours after the sweep! a healthy little boy, we’re finally settled at home :)

I'm in for a sweep next Thursday when I'll be 38+2. If that doesn't work I'm in the following Wednesday 18th for induction!

@Dec19baby I was already 2cm dilated and having minor tightenings at the time of the sweep. I think it also triggered my waters to break.

@starflake due date was next Wednesday the 11th. Fingers crossed for your sweep! xx

I'm 38+4 and I'm fed up! Think I'll go late as it's my first but hoping it comes on time!

I'm 39 today and also fed up. Induction booked for 30th if nothing but I'm thinking please arrive before Xmas.

@Funnybunnyfluff same here, and due date 22nd, so next Sunday. Got next MW app 23rd so hoping we don't make it Would be nice to come before Christmas, but not keen on a Christmas Day birthday! Just feeling so uncomfortable and not sleeping

I completely understand, I have scan on Wednesday and midwife same as u Friday day after due date.

I sleep more on the day then at night which is weird. Just woke up now 😂

I'm due Sunday! I feel like things are changing, but who knows! 😂 I've got it in my head I'll be nearly 42 weeks.. baby will come when ready, but wish it was ready sooner lol

Baby arrived day early 18th. Still in as problems with placenta. The now calling kings to see what the options are. Erin was completely worth it. 6lbs14
