@theydontknowweknow yeah it's the ages of about 3-5 I'm worrying about 😂
Omg elephants sounds soooo adorable!

theydontknowweknow · 09/07/2019 18:17

Think you get MatB1 form at your 27 week appointment😊

@December2019 it'll be lovely when they're older though! My thinming is that we can weave a bit of Dumbo in there as well haha

Dec19baby · 09/07/2019 18:25

I've been told, and also read online, that I'll get my MATB1 at my 20 week appointment.

Kate3150 · 09/07/2019 20:39

Hey everyone,

Can I join please? I’ve been so tempted to join thread but been too nervous after having a loss last year.

I’m now 17+2, found out yesterday I’m having a boy 💙

Feeling great physically but struggling with anxiety. Hope to make some new friends on here xx

Dec19baby · 09/07/2019 21:51

@Kate3150 welcome! Congrats! I could have been worse with the physical symptoms, but I'm struggling with anxiety as well. Going to speak to midwife about it this week as it's really starting to affect me. Never spoken about it to anyone really before.
Sorry about your loss, I can't imagine going through that, but you've something positive to focus on now! When are you due?

Kate3150 · 09/07/2019 21:59

@Dec19baby- thank you!!!
I’m due on December 16th 😬, feels like a lifetime away but I know it will be here sooner than I think.
How far gone are you?
Anxiety is just the worst, it’s weird as generally I’m happy and taking good care of myself. But there’s just that niggling worry in the back of my mind that something will go wrong. It’s so annoying!!!! Do you suffer from anxiety anyway? x

Dec19baby · 09/07/2019 22:05

People keep saying to me that time will fly by but it's been dragging something shocking for me!! Sad

I think I have. Just come to realise that I think I have. I'm quite a closed person generally, so I think it's made it hard. I'm 16 weeks, and just recently the pregnancy has made everything come to the surface (first time pregnancy). Hoping since speaking to my husband and the midwife this week I can try and help myself and the baby.
Keep reading on my apps that now is the happy time, but I'm still waiting! Some of my symptoms are still here as well unfortunately.

December2019 · 09/07/2019 22:25

@Kate3150 I'm sorry about your loss but congratulations on your little boy! I've got a little boy and he is the BEST!
I was terrible with anxiety with my last pregnancy I constantly worried about everything but I'm not so bad 2nd time round (probably because I don't have time to think) he's such a little whirlwind lol

December2019 · 09/07/2019 22:27

@Dec19baby it's dragged for me too for some reason but then I think it only feels like yesterday I had my booking in appointment... but 4 more weeks and your halfway there I think once you hit the 20 week mark it seems to go a lot quicker (for me it did anyway)

GoldPaperStars · 10/07/2019 10:19

Hello all! I hope it’s ok to join you? I’m 15+6 and due December 27th with a boy.

I’ve been reluctant to join in with the chat as I’ve been quite anxious about something going wrong with the pregnancy and have also been feeling horrendous with HG. I said to my DH last night that I don’t feel like I’m pregnant, more that I’m experiencing an illness! Hopefully that famous second trimester happy period will be along shortly...

That wasn’t the chirpiest of intros was it? I promise I’m usually a really sunny personality! Grin

Kate3150 · 10/07/2019 11:23

@GoldPaperStars- I have also just joined very nervously 😂, I keep thinking something will go wrong. It’s majorly runing being pregnant for me. I’m just getting through each day and ticking them off as they go. Anxiety seems to be super common!
@December2019- Yes I have found anxiety to be quite common, I guess hormones don’t help? Hard to tell what’s actually me and what’s pregnancy hormone anxiety? X

forevercurious · 11/07/2019 17:12

Is anyone else really suffering with baby brain? I didn’t think it was a real thing but can confirm it is! I’m forgetting everything, doing silly things for no reason and generally feel my head is elsewhere. It doesn’t help I have a lot going on recently which is contributing to this feeling! Does anyone have any tips?

theydontknowweknow · 12/07/2019 11:41

Really struggling with sciatica these past couple of days, making work really uncomfortable as the bottom of my back keeps going stiff and my leg goes numb! Counting down the days until our 20 week scan on Wednesday!

December2019 · 12/07/2019 12:07

@theydontknowweknow urghh!! It's awful isn't it I really struggled with it my last pregnancy
I bet your so exited for Wednesday 😊
I've got a gender scan tomorrow and I'm so exited!!

custarddonut · 12/07/2019 12:09

Hello everyone!

May I join too please? I'm due on 14th December, it's our first after several years TTC (this was our 3rd attempt at IVF). Feeling incredibly excited and a bit nervous too. Does anyone else feel a bit short of breath in general? And like a massive balloon by the end of the day? I feel like i need deflating by about 7pm! (and back to normal by morning, though I think I have a definite bump now and i love it). Congratulations everyone xxx

theydontknowweknow · 12/07/2019 12:44

@December2019 aw yes, what time's your scan? You finally get to find out if it's robots or unicorns Grin Need her to move position!

@custarddonut congratulations! I find my bump feels huge by the end of the day too and also feel a bit out of breath, it's become a bit of a running joke in the house and DP calls me dragon breath because my breathing is so heavy by the time I've climbed two flights of stairs!

custarddonut · 12/07/2019 13:05

@theydontknowweknow the dragon breath thing has really tickled me :-)

badfurday · 12/07/2019 20:57

Anyone else struggling to eat? I'm 20 weeks on Sunday. Just been our for a meal and all I could eat was some salad and a starter. Physically couldn't eat anymore and felt full to the brim. Don't remember feeling this full all the time with my first. Normally have a good appetite and enjoy a meal out but this was hard work. Plus the fact I couldn't have a cocktail! 🙄😂

Kate3150 · 12/07/2019 21:00

I feel breathless at times but I wonder if that’s partly my anxiety- who knows!
@custarddonut you are two days ahead of
me 😬, how exciting!! Have you found out what your having? X

December2019 · 12/07/2019 21:27

@badfurday haha nope you'd think I was eating for 12 the way I'm going! 😂
Although I couldn't finish a big Mac the other day... I usually don't even chew one of those I just throw it in 😂

December2019 · 12/07/2019 21:28

@theydontknowweknow my scan is at 12:45 I'm soooo exited haha!
I know as soon as I know I'll go mad buying stuff haha!

theydontknowweknow · 12/07/2019 21:33

@December2019 so exciting!! I don't blame you, hope it all goes well and let us know!😁

badfurday · 13/07/2019 11:15

Anyone considering a holiday? I'm desperate for a week away somewhere!! Midwife said she is happy to do a fit to fly certificate but feeing a bit weird about it?! It will be fine won't it?

OP posts:
theydontknowweknow · 13/07/2019 12:35

theydontknowweknow · 13/07/2019 14:45
