Aw Bentley that's great news about DH's career!

I've definitely got a "bump" although it just looks like I've put on a bit of weight rather than that I'm pregnant (it's my first but I've got a short torso and weak abs lol). Doing a presentation at work tomorrow and my boss has repeatedly reminded me to wear a suit - pretty sure the skirt of my only suit won't do up so he's just going to have to lump it. The presentations not even to clients so I don't know why he's so hung up on it!

Have been quiet for a few days as I've been feeling ill, luckily feeling better yesterday and today :-) but my anxiety is bad, not sure if it's pregnancy related or because of our impending house move
Have gone off coffee too

I think I look about 6 months pregnant but feel very bloated and I think it has gone down the last few days. When my son leans back against me I can definitely feel him leaning on a bump rather than just fat.
With my first I was about 16 weeks before my bump popped out, second I was wearing maternity jeans at 12 weeks and this time 9 weeks! OH keeps winding me up it's twins.

Thanks @Bentley111 I felt a little better today but if it returns to what it has been I’ll be straight down the doctors! Got sea sickness bands on their way.
@mrscatmad31 I’m the same! Can’t stomach hot drinks or hot food for that matter. Usually drink coffee from dawn til dusk. Good luck with your move, that is super stressful. You’ll be feeling so much better once you can start setting up the nursery 😻

@Ann334 yes I'm craving sandwiches instead of hot food!
House will be worth the stress, it's bigger but it needs work so going to be a busy year

Hi ladies, had my scan and little bean is still dancing with a strong heart beat. Dating at 8+2. I feel so relieved now, yesterday gave me such a fright. They couldn't find what caused the bleed, but assured me that all looks good. Thank you all for your well wishes this morning.

I also found out that my mom went ahead and told all my aunties (my mum has 6 sisters) that I'm pregnant, when they all suddenly started texting me telling me how happy they are that all is well. Ah well, so much for waiting to tell the rest of the family 🤦‍♀️

@mrscatmad31 we're in the same position! Only exchanged and haven't completed yet but the previous owner was there for 20 years and I don't think she did a thing to it so loads of work needed. It's exciting but also majorly stressing g me out atm.

@Anon120 it's the same with the one we are buying, they have been they about 20 years too! First job is ripping the kitchen out

@NoMoreFastCars82 I really fancied KFC spent £8 picking what I wanted had the chips one bite of muffin went to eat the burger and the mayo tasted sour straight in the bin fuming lol

I kind of do too @anitagreen, I love Christmas lol we got married on the 22nd. My DS was three weeks early and my consultant said with a heart shaped uterus you are more likely to go early so I am fully expecting a 2019 baby 😊

I will get joint presents forever, will never be able to go out drinking on my birthday, will fore ER have to compete with a goddamn Christmas tree and will get my birthday wishes written in Christmas cards. Also do not let me out on New Year's Eve cos that's pants too. Love you any day for the 25th or 31st baby 👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻

Had my midwife appointment- she was so, so lovely - feel much less anxious about things now. All straight forward so far.
The student midwife asked to take my blood which I said was fine - I think she was quite nervous as she used my arm like a pin cushion 🙈😩

My boyfriends birthday is on NYE, he hates it! He turned 21 on the millennium, said it was the biggest anticlimax of all time poor sod 😂

I would hate to be born on NYE. My friend is the 1st Jan and she hates it

I'm due 1/1, I wouldn't mind a New Years baby but do not want it to be a week early it be Christmas Day! I wouldn't mind a few days before Christmas though

I'm practically a Christmas baby, and I can tell you concretely it's no fun. To this day I hate planning birthday parties because most of my friends often couldn't make it because they were already busy with family and Christmas celebrations. My parents also once attempted to do a combined Christmas and birthday present but I laid the guilt trip on so much because "not only do I already have to share my bday with Xmas, but my siblings all get separate presents". Hearing myself say it out loud I feel like such a spoilt brat, but seriously as a kid you don't see it that way. 🤦‍♀️

Yup, NYE kid also banned joint presents from an early age. Def hold on a day Daisy lol

My husbands birthday is Christmas Day he doesn’t mind it now but when he was a child, he hated it so PIL threw him a party on his half birthday every year in June! He usually works Christmas Day (paramedic) but we always, always have to have a seafood platter before he goes - not sure I’ll stomach that at 38 weeks pregnant this year!

@SleepingStandingUp I'm not allowed to go over apparently so best hope for two weeks early!!
