I defo have a lil bump starting, 9+3 today with no4. Gained a lot round my hips and lower belly and its a firm. Im a lot smaller this time round as i lost 4 stone after ds3 was born, har finally reached my pre pregnancy with ds1 weight and got a bfp Grin hoping to keep it off after this one comes!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 11/06/2019 21:23

I'm 9+4!

It's definitely a bump and not bloating 🙈

winter138 · 11/06/2019 21:29

I've just made an egg mayo sandwich for a cheeky supper after you guys were all chatting about it a few days ago!

I am feeling very bloated and chubby. Have gained a few lbs but trying to follow slimming world myself at home again to minimise damage. I think we are allowed 2 A's and 2 B's? I hope so!!

My symptoms are really not very noticeable. I am 7+3 today based on LMP and apart from massive, sore and rock hard books, I'm feeling ok. Bit of a metallic taste in my mouth in the afternoon/evening and maybe just a teeny touch of nausea but nothing major. I feel tired but not completely exhausted... I might have been this tired anyway?

Anyone else not really suffering?

Chips84 · 11/06/2019 21:30

Had my booking in appointment this morning, which went well. But then started spotting this afternoon. Been booked in with EPU tomorrow and really hoping everything will be ok. 🤞

Ann334 · 11/06/2019 22:04

Had 3 hours of first aid training after work today, and a very awkward moment where the trainer asked me to put on a Heimlich training belt and be squeezed by a colleague. Was caught so off guard I shouted ‘I don’t want to and it’s a secret!!’
Looking forward to the whispers for the next 4 weeks 🙄
I’m getting so fat trying to combat nausea with food. The dentist I work with said I should ask my doctor for antiemetics as I’m struggling so much at work and time off us not an option right now. Not sure if medication is safe though

Ann334 · 11/06/2019 22:07

Hope all goes well tomorrow @Chips84, judging by the thread we’ve had afew spotters here along the way with fighting fit little beans with amazing early scan pics xx

mynameisMrG · 11/06/2019 22:20

Good luck @Chips84 keeping my fingers crossed for you. If it makes you feel better I’ve been bleeding and spotting for three weeks and seen my baby’s heartbeat twice.

Good luck Chip84, hope it all goes well. I've had spotting since six weeks and I'm 11 now, doesn't seem to affect the baby. It's always worrying though.

Chips84 · 12/06/2019 05:59

Thank you ladies. I've had 2 MC so my mind immediately went into panic mode. So it's a comfort to hear about your little fighting beans, and I hope mine stays fighting too.

DinoGreen · 12/06/2019 07:11

Morning all. Good luck for the scan today @Chips84!

I’m 8+4 today so why have I already put on 3kg?! I dared to weigh myself this morning ... all the weight I lost before my bfp has gone back on! I’m so bloated as well. Last time round I didn’t start needing maternity clothes until about 17 weeks, I fear it’s going to be a lot sooner this time! Wore a skirt for work yesterday that was so uncomfortable and digging into me by half way through the day. I’m not telling work until I’ve had my 12 week scan so I’m going to have to wear loose dresses to make sure no one notices!

Anon120 · 12/06/2019 08:16

Good luck @Chips84 thinking of you today x

Bentley111 · 12/06/2019 08:16

@Chips84 good luck for today 🤞🏼

@Ann334 if you're struggling definitely get some anti emetics. I've been taking them since week 5. Last week I had a scan and all was well, baby was even measuring 4 days ahead. Am 9+5 today. My GP and every other HCP I've spoken to has reassured me they're safe.

My booking in apt today. I'm so nervous! Feels like it's becoming real now.

We got some huge news yesterday too - DH has been offered investment to start his own business - and he'll be WFH until around March when the office space he'd like becomes free. Will be so nice to have him around for the first few months, especially as now he works such long hours. Beginning to feel tentatively excited about the next year now!

karryk · 12/06/2019 08:24

Good luck @Chips84 really hope little bean is bouncing around in there for you Smile ❤️ 🤞🏼

DaisyMay25 · 12/06/2019 08:43

@Bentley111 how exciting for you are DH!!
Good luck at booking appointment today!

Good luck for your scan @Chips84

I'm 11 weeks today, the baby is the size of a sprout, I'm gonna blame that for how gassy I am!

Mirana · 12/06/2019 09:48

@Bentley111 that's so exciting!! Definitely v jealous.

My nausea has just become part of my day now. I do miss waking up and feeling ok :( I looked back on my charts, my first nausea was at 7dpo, and full blown nausea/sickness kicked in on 21st May, making it almost a month! And I'm only 7+3!! Really bizarre, my last pregnancy I was 10kg lighter, would have assumed I'd feel more sick in that instance?!

This will be my first "live" baby so probably zero bump for me for a few months. My mmc was detected at 9+5 so my anxiety is really ramping up. I didn't see a heartbeat and it had stopped growing in week 5, so it has progressed further but not by heaps. I have my booking in appointment tomorrow, any advice on asking for a reassurance scan?

Mirana · 12/06/2019 09:49

This pregnancy has progressed further I mean 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ jelly brain!

MummyBearBoo · 12/06/2019 09:54

I'm 9+5 have a fairly prominent bump but pretty sure it's water retention -
I get it every time you can tell it's that coz it's not hard as at 9 weeks my my baby is only the size of a green olive so the bump is just water! I end up looking 20 weeks by the time I get to 12 censure if this!! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 12/06/2019 09:58

@Bentley111 -I'm the same had my scan yesterday and and Was 3 days ahead and I'm 9+5 today EDD 10th Jan my baby was wriggling so much it took a while for him/her to stay still enough to be measured!! Xx

karryk · 12/06/2019 09:59

@Mirana you bag definitely ask for a reassurance scan. In my area we have to get a referral to the local EPU but I know some do walk-in clinics. I have a history of early miscarriages so was given a scan at just over 7 weeks and I have another tomo at which I should hopefully be around the 9w mark.

Failing that, you could pay for a private scan - there are a fair few private scan clinics around now Smile

karryk · 12/06/2019 09:59

Can, not bag!! Hmm

SleepingStandingUp · 12/06/2019 10:41

@MummyBearBoo it might be olive sized but dint forget, baby is encased within something the size of an orange so depending on your figure, and orange in your abdo might still be noticeable.
Not mine, my orange is padded in cake!!

Chantalle3 · 12/06/2019 11:25

Can't believe we have already almost filled a 3rd thread before 12 weeks. We will be on thread 20 or something by the time we all pop 😁

NoMoreFastCars82 · 12/06/2019 11:56

@SleepingStandingUp I died laughing at your post 😂😂 cos mines definitely wrapped in cake too!!

@Chantalle3 not surprised, we do all like to talk lol

Booked a docs appt today as I woke up with swollen sinuses and related or non related toothache which I'm hoping is related and docs will give me something for the sinuses!

I'm worrying after my appetite has been less the last few days, though sickness has eased a little so I'm wondering if it's that?

Going to bug doc in a bit, she's female and used to seeing me every week since I've been pregnant 😂😂

Iamneverfull · 12/06/2019 12:32

Hi I haven't been on here for ages, so I'm going to try and keep up! I have a 9 year old dd and we have the scan next Thursday, not sure how to tell her? My partner doesn't think we should make a big deal, but I would like to get her a card and a small present or something? Any suggestions?!
I'm eating about 10 times a day, still feel like I have the worst hangover!

MummyBearBoo · 12/06/2019 14:30

See I lost 2st 2lbs before getting pregnant so I dumped my cake but now pretty sure it's water my pre weight loss jeans are still a bit big but I'm wearing them coz they're comfy! Xx
