@SleepingStandingUp I'm one extreme to the other lol.

Is it just Cos everything is expanding and moving do you think?

SleepingStandingUp · 11/06/2019 09:26

I think so, just all fitting into the right place I guess with this orange in our abdomen

karryk · 11/06/2019 09:51

@SleepingStandingUp my c section scar is quite itchy at the moment Hmm

Feeling rough today...still no actual being sick, just nausea Sad heating up some potato croquettes at the moment as that's all I can bear to eat...

Two days until my reassurance scan... Eek

mynameisMrG · 11/06/2019 09:52

Ten weeks today 😊 time has started going backwards I am sure!

Hi everyone, I was on the thread earlier but then I left because I kept bleeding and was sure I was going to miscarry. Tentatively re-joining as I'm now 10+4 and have had 3 scans showing on track growth (latest one last Saturday).

I'm due on 3 January based on when I think I ovulated, though 1 January based on the latest scan.

My tiredness seems to have really eased up these last few days which I'm very pleased about. Still got food aversions (although nausea is also less). But now I've got awful back ache - seems way too early for that!

Did anyone else buy a pregnancy pillow yet? I got one at the weekend and am loving it!

mynameisMrG · 11/06/2019 10:04

That’s amazing news @Kinsters 😊 I have one in the garage from my first pregnancy so I may have to fish it out this weekend. Currently sleeping with a normal pillow between my knees and it’s not the same

Back at work today after three weeks off, luckily only working for four hours but need to pick up snacks!

I haven't bought anything yet, no maternity clothes or pillows or anything. My scan is in two weeks so might have a look after that

NoMoreFastCars82 · 11/06/2019 10:18

I bought one from amazon last Friday, it's like a big U shape and so soft and bouncy that I haven't got out of it when I've been feeling bad lol ... it's now my new best friend lol

Kinsters · 11/06/2019 10:23

Yes I got a u shaped one too NoMore, so hard to get out of it in the mornings. I just want to stay in my pregnancy nest!

I need to get some clothes as well as none of my jeans fit anymore. I do feel paranoid about getting stuff though, don't want to tempt fate.

SleepingStandingUp · 11/06/2019 10:37

i'm too hormonal to watch kids Voice!!

Anon120 · 11/06/2019 10:48

Ladies - I need some ideas for desk snacks! :) x

BowiesJumper · 11/06/2019 11:14

Salt and vinegar chickpeas (from sainsburys) are delish and a great hit of salt (not healthy obvs...).

I keep waking at about 3am and not being able to get back to sleep. I am like a zombie today. I've just smeared 4head all over my... well forehead, to stop the tiredness headache. MOAN MOAN MOAN.

I'm not buying anything until after my 12wk scan, still waiting for the date for that. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow.

Do you think anyone will notice if I go for a nap in the loo at work?

NoMoreFastCars82 · 11/06/2019 11:18

@BowiesJumper if I worked in an office I'd be finding somewhere for a nap... not sure if sleep in a loo with sense of smell being so heightened though 😂

@Anon120 naughty or good snacks??

Bentley111 · 11/06/2019 11:25

Welcome back @Kin Grin

Anon120 · 11/06/2019 11:39

@BowiesJumper ooo yes salt and vinegar!! I smashed through a whole box of Pringles the other day so great shout

@NoMoreFastCars82 good and bad are welcome!! Probably more good at this point... trying to have some self-control but it's probs pointless 😂

Kinsters · 11/06/2019 11:41

Haha thanks Bentley. Re-joining the thread hasn't seemed to trigger any bleeding like it did last time so maybe I'll stick around now!

Anon I keep dried apricots on my desk. I'm really paranoid about getting enough calcium so I'm trying to include as many calcium rich snacks as possible (would be easier if I had a fridge near my desk lol).

MummyBearBoo · 11/06/2019 11:42

So had my dating scan today -everything was fine I'm 9+4 so 3 days more than I thought! Baby was wriggling around all over the place and had a strong heartbeat so will have to wait and see what the CVS shows on 24th to see if it's ok or not! Fingers crossed! Xx

mynameisMrG · 11/06/2019 11:50

How lovely @MummyBearBoo

Loving all these positive scan stories

OP posts:
NoMoreFastCars82 · 11/06/2019 11:59

@MummyBearBoo that's brilliant, really pleased for you!! X

@Anon120 depends how long snacks will last but I am seriously loving the snack pots of fruit from Morrison's..they're really fresh compared to tescos ones also so last for days in fridge so would be ok for a few hours in a drawer lol ... otherwise I'm still stuck on cheese, so it would have to be the cheese and pickle snack things cathedral city used to do (don't know why but I'm craving pickle lol)

Soooo, I've bit the bullet as my appetite has been half of what it was last few days and tummy awful! ... and I've booked an early scan next Monday x wish me luck, I'm so nervous! But I just want to know for good how far along I am and waiting for another few weeks for nhs and not having even heard from them yet I took matters into my own hands x

karryk · 11/06/2019 12:00

Great news @MummyBearBoo and @Kinsters Smile hopefully I can join you later this week...

I bought a U-shaped pillow for my pregnancy with DD - was a lifesaver from about 14 weeks onwards albeit my husband had to make do with sleeping on about an inch of bed Grin I recall feeling aches until about week 16 but pregnancy yoga really helped.

Slightly gutted that honey cheerios don't taste nice anymore Sad

mitzi2019 · 11/06/2019 12:17

Hi everyone just thought I'd check back in, have been lurking but still feel nervous about getting excited. Had my third (!) scan this morning at 10 weeks and all is looking good so I'm feeling a bit more reassured. Some of you may remember I had spotting for about 3 weeks which thankfully seems to have stopped now and they spotted a vanished twin at my scan two weeks ago. They can still see a second empty sac but hopefully all ok and shouldn't impact the remaining fetus :) I actually feeling slightly less awful this week, though still rough, after weeks of constant intense nausea and fatigue. Hoping it will keep alleviating as I approach 12 weeks as it's well and truly miserable feeling awful all the time. I feel like no one pre warned me about this!!! Hope all you other ladies are doing well and good luck to anyone else with early scans coming up soon x

Chantalle3 · 11/06/2019 12:30

Oh @NoMoreFastCars82 cheese and pickle 🤤 I think you've decided the flavour of the day.

I just opened a large bag of sweet and salty popcorn to 'have a few' whilst I've been on a conference call that's delayed my lunch. Its empty already 🙈

NoMoreFastCars82 · 11/06/2019 12:48

@mitzi2019 brilliant that your scan went well hun 👍🏻 and nobody warned me either that I'd feel this ill lol

@Chantalle3 I have no pickle!! 😱👎🏻 but I have decided I am going to be a good girl and go make a cheese, mushroom and ham omelette shortly lol 🤤

anitagreen · 11/06/2019 13:14

@NoMoreFastCars82 That's what I'm like I start eating something and then it's like the babies like sorry I don't like this can you stop eating it otherwise I'll vomit? Here's hoping for a quick smooth delivery if we are suffering now x

@mynameisMrG Omg I feel your pain I was worried I'd deliver in Sainsbury's as I was in there nearly every day as I have to walk past it but I heard if you give birth in a supermarket you get a nice hamper 😂

@megganonion That's really scary I can understand your fear the csection might give you some relief in time though knowing it's all prepared and you'll be safe, I'm worried I won't know if I'm going into labour also as with my son it didn't hurt at all I only had period pain and an urge to push and he was born Blush with my DD the pain was crazy but thick and fast x

anitagreen · 11/06/2019 13:15

@mynameisMrG I'm also 10 weeks are you due on the 7/8th of January? X
