@mynameisMrGremind him he impregnated YOU. Your egg was just going along doing its usual business when his impertinent sperm turned up on the door step, and didn't just stop for a coffee but moved in!
It's all his fault.
And you're the one growing it so you get all the credit.

mynameisMrG · 09/06/2019 21:52

I like that!

@SleepingStandingUp perfectly put 👍🏻

My partner keeps saying 'oh out comes the pregnancy card again' and joking about but if he ever oversteps the mark I do remind him he did this to me 😂😂

DaisyMay25 · 09/06/2019 22:12

My DH wouldn't dare pull any of this, after going through IVF to get here and now I'm suffering he bends over backwards! Even went out in the awful rain earlier to get me Rennie's for my acid reflux.

@mynameisMrG you need to remind him it'll get worse when you're massive and can't do anything!

Chantalle3 · 09/06/2019 22:12

@McHelenz have you seen post on page 31 about a baby event in Manchester? Remember you said the London event was too far from you.

McHelenz · 09/06/2019 22:15

DaisyMay25 · 09/06/2019 22:16

Hi everyone, jumping over from the December group as my dates are now early Jan.
I'm currently 10+2 with baby #3 following
a miscarriage in March. 12 weeks scan is 27th June which feels a lifetime away! How is everyone?

karryk · 10/06/2019 07:00

Hello @MamaGeordie Smile

I'm just dipping in and out...I have my reassurance scan next week and hopefully will be around 9ish weeks along. I've got a history of miscarriages (although managed a beautiful DD a couple of years ago) so hoping this one sticks 🤞🏼

The only thing that tastes good at the moment is weetabix...i haven't been sick but nausea really ramps up in the evening and I'm totally useless after 8 until bedtime.

I've bought some of those mini cathedral city cheeses! Here's hoping they help...everything else just tastes like poison at the moment. Confused

splishandsplash · 10/06/2019 08:20

Our scan from yesterday measuring 9 weeks 3 days scary how much the bean has grown already!! Again the saw the heart beat and was so happy to see the growth

@splishandsplash how are wonderful! This has made me really excited! Your little one looks like an actual baby 💕😍

CatRash · 10/06/2019 09:01

Lovely pictures @splishandsplash!

Welcome @MamaGeordie!

I'm 10 weeks today! Double figures yehhh! Still very little symptoms even the fatigue has dropped off a bit. If I hadn't had a scan at 8 weeks I wouldn't believe I was pregnant.

TheOnlyMrsA · 10/06/2019 09:08

@CatRash i just feel like I've had a massive weekend of partying .. abit tired and slightly sickly. It always worries me when I feel ok! Xox

mynameisMrG · 10/06/2019 10:00

My DH said what does it actually feel like to be pregnant. I told him it’s like an 8 week hangover.

Hello everyone, I haven’t posted in a while as been feeling very sorry for myself. The nausea is getting the better of me, I feel awful. I don’t know how I’m going to get through this week, I work full-time and with a toddler to tend to I’m just exhausted Sad was up till 4am this morning feeling sick and unable to sleep, now I’m sitting in work feeling beyond shite, I don’t know why I came in! May need to drop down to 4 days and see how I go with that if my work will allow it. The only thing holding me back is that being at home with DD isn’t anymore relaxing 🙈

We did have a scan on Saturday and the baby is measuring exactly as it should be (I’m now 8+3) and all was fine with the heartbeat and position etc. So lots to be positive about, I just needed a moan!

KatiePix · 10/06/2019 10:12

@MonicaGellerHyphenBing - i totally sympathetise. I made it into work today for 15 minutes before throwing up in the office loos and being sent home. I feel absolutely dreadful, and am similar 8+1.

NoMoreFastCars82 · 10/06/2019 10:17

@MonicaGellerHyphenBing You're in good company... most of us are feeling sick and sorry for ourselves x

I've taken the day off, I feel like I've run a marathon, my tummy is awful in all senses and my appetite has gone to zilch! 👎🏻👎🏻

Just had a small bit of fruit so I can take my vitamins and keeping my fluids up today but staying in bed!

Hope everyone else is feeling better than I am x

BowiesJumper · 10/06/2019 10:17

Moan alert, I just feel so TIRED all the time. I've got constant low level nausea, which is much better than being sick etc, I know. But it's pretty wearing.

I had my booking in on Friday and the midwife was lovely when I said I wanted an elective c-section. I think it's the doctor and then consultant midwife that I'll be seeing later on down the line that put up more of a fight about it I think. I think I've got good arguments for one (and an emergency c-section last time), and I'm good at standing up for myself, so will see! My friend had a dreadful time when she asked for one and they made her cry! She got one in the end though...

I have rubbish veins and the midwife couldn't find a good one to take my blood samples, so I had to wait an hour and a half for the phlebotomist. Make sure you're very well hydrated for blood tests! I'd plain forgotten to drink enough, which didn't help. Yawn.

McHelenz · 10/06/2019 10:21

Got my booking in appointment tomorrow. I know it's a boring appointment but I feel excited. It's finally a bit more real.

I'm also picking up some maternity jeans today for holiday. Just the scan to go!

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 10/06/2019 10:36

It sucks you lot also feel dreadful but nice to not be alone!

@BowiesJumper I hope all goes well for you, I know quite a few mums who opted for an elective section the second time round and all had a very good experience, both before and during.

CatRash · 10/06/2019 10:43

I can see where you're coming from with the hangover thing. Luckily (?) my hangovers are a lot worse than how I'm feeling - probably why I haven't had one in over 2.5 years!!

My only real symptom is insatiable hunger. I eat and half an hour later I'm hungry again. I've already had toast, a banana and some cashew nuts today and I fully expect to be hungry again in 20 minutes time. I'm struggling to think of enough snacks to take with me to work.

mynameisMrG · 10/06/2019 10:49

I ate my lunch at half nine.
