@Bluebelltulip ... I could demolish a mcds milkshake!!!!! (I never ever drink them usually)

Fivebyfive2 · 09/06/2019 17:43

@TheonlymrsA @Nofastcars82, have you tried the individual snack size blocks of cathedral cirty cheese?! Perfect for nibbles 😋

Fivebyfive2 · 09/06/2019 17:44

@sleepingstandingup, that all sounds awesome, especially the goth baby grows 😎

NoMoreFastCars82 · 09/06/2019 17:44

@TheOnlyMrsA haha lace with cheese!! I love it! 😂😂

I just had to have a couple of slices of bread and butter to tide myself over Cos I have done slow cooker beef stew but partner isn't here yet so I am stopping myself from eating it before he turns up 😂😂😂 I figured all that veg and beef would be the healthier option than like last night where chips and cheese and cheeseburger happened 🤐🤐😂👎🏻

NoMoreFastCars82 · 09/06/2019 17:45

@Fivebyfive2 oooo, fluff brain here had completely forgotten about those cute little cathedral city cheese blocks!

Going shop in the morning now, thanks 👍🏻😂 x

So due to previous MMC my h2b and I decided to get an early scan at 7 weeks, the baby actually measured at 6weeks 2 days... I've just had my scan my sister paid for and I should be 10 weeks 3 days or if I go by the previous 9 weeks 5 days but the scan measured me at 9 weeks 3 days.. saw the heart beat and happy that baby is ok but is there any reason that would happen? X

Mumof4andahalf · 09/06/2019 17:58

@SleepingStandingUp have you seen Bastille before? They are awesome!!

DaisyMay25 · 09/06/2019 18:05

@splishandsplash I wouldn't worry too much, my clinic said the tiniest move with the mouse will change dates by five days! As long as everything poke fine and there's a heartbeat try not to worry. You also could've ovulated slightly later in your cycle. Hopefully at the 12 week scan it will have caught up a little bit or it may just be measuring behind the entire time x

poposaurus · 09/06/2019 18:11

Ooh someone mentioned bread & butter & now its all I can think of! I love Bastille too- was once wandering around some back streets in London & heard them practising, such a cool thing to happen!

TheOnlyMrsA · 09/06/2019 18:46

@splishandsplash exactly what's already been said, for had a scan a week ago and I was measuring at 5 somthing when I should of been 6+5 ish. Then she moved the stick thin slightly and then all of a sudden it jumped to 6weeks. Then the Lady said a few days give or take not every baby is the same size after all! You had a healthy heartbeat and that's all that matters!

@Fivebyfive2 I have some in my fridge I put them in my lunchbox every day at the moment sat at my desk nibbling

@NoMoreFastCars82 I feel like im cooking for a fussy child hiding all the food that's good for me inside carbs and cheese 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@SleepingStandingUp I saw bastille a few years ago when they where like ... just cropping up on the scene ... I'd found an acoustic session of their song Flaws and became obsessed I hunted them down as a support act at a gig for another band that was exactly 'out' yet and I was amazed. I bet they've come on loads! I went to neighbourhood weekender 2/3 weeks ago to see Gerry Cinnamon! I had such a boss day, but I was exhausted and the drunk people barging into me got so far onto my nerves That I sat in a portaloo and nearly missed the Vaccines. I think it's best if I sit out he festival scene this year! Xox

NoMoreFastCars82 · 09/06/2019 18:54

@TheOnlyMrsA I've just had my stew and more bread and butter and now I'm full and for the first time today don't feel sick 🎉🎉🎉😂

NoMoreFastCars82 · 09/06/2019 18:55

@poposaurus sorry the bread and butter fiend is me 😂😂 but it's sooooo nice!! I had to have more with dinner 👍🏻

SleepingStandingUp · 09/06/2019 18:58

@Mumof4andahalf Bastille I've seen them play small venue in Birmingham bit really want to see them play open-air, it's just a diff experience, even if I'll be at the back with my pregnant bump lol

@TheOnlyMrsAi I discovered one of my favourite bands as a support act. Went ot see Fun and their support act was Walk The Moon. I'd brought their album off Amazon before they'd finished their set and thry were last last band I saw (32 weeks pregnant) before DS and first one we saw together after he was born (he was 3 😂). Thru don't tour much here but they're sooo good live. I fantasise about finding them on a small stage at a festival!!

poposaurus · 09/06/2019 19:01

@NoMoreFastCars82 just had some & it was unreal! Warbutons toastie too!! 🤤

DaisyMay25 · 09/06/2019 19:02

For anyone interested, I know it's a while away too. There's a baby and toddler event in Manchester 27-29 September

TheOnlyMrsA · 09/06/2019 19:09

@DaisyMay25 very interested thanks for the info - not far from me. And I'll be able to buy stuff by then!

@SleepingStandingUp Gerry Cinnamon has become one of my favourite artists because he's so good live, he was supporting The Courteeners on their tour last year and he stole the show tbh. He's so good live so if you come across him on your festival travels go for a watch it's like he's having a party on stage!

@poposaurus I had a buttered barm cake while waiting for my risotto thanks to @NoMoreFastCars82

Also - glad you don't feel sick. I took my pregnancy vitamins after my tea and my stomach is more settled - they have ginger in so I'm going to try take them in the morning tomorrow and see if that keeps the nausea at bay. Xox

poposaurus · 09/06/2019 19:11

Barm cake! You must be Northern too @TheOnlyMrsA ! xx

TheOnlyMrsA · 09/06/2019 19:57

@poposaurus not only am I northern, I'm Scouse! Haha xox

Fivebyfive2 · 09/06/2019 20:17

@daisymay25, I'm thinking of going to that, but dh thinks I'm mad as we are Brummies so it could be a bit of a mission! Might go with the girls 🙂

Oooo all this talk of bread... I just had some nice buttery toast, it was fab!! Thanks for the inspiration ladies 😋

NoMoreFastCars82 · 09/06/2019 20:24

@Fivebyfive2 anytime, glad everyone's been enjoying buttery goodness tonight 😂

@poposaurus @TheOnlyMrsA Barm cake?
I'm southern (midlands 😂)

Marshmallow1992 · 09/06/2019 20:27

@splishandsplash I had an early scan today at what I thought 7 weeks but they measured me at 6+1! We saw a strong heartbeat so I'm just hoping that everything is ok.

I dug out all my old bras and clothes from last pregnancy. Very excited to have new big soft bras haha

mynameisMrG · 09/06/2019 20:35

I could go for a toasted tea cake right now.

I think my poor DH is starting to lose patience. All I’ve done this weekend is lie on the sofa moaning and napping. Hoping I start to get some energy soon as I’m not sure he will be sympathetic for too much longer

@mynameisMrG remind him that you're growing a human Life. Works for me. 😂 or I apologise prefusely and say 'I'm so shit all I do is sleep' and he's like 'you're growing a person love'

mrscatmad31 · 09/06/2019 20:40

@mynameisMrG that's pretty much all I've done too! Hubby has been very good though
