@TheOnlyMrsA I'll not be able to work after filling myself with tonnes of potato's 😂

As for backache, yep but it's mid back for me, boobs like watermelons and my back is really suffering from it 👎🏻 not good for you needing help out bath already... can docs do anything for backs when you're pregnant?

TheOnlyMrsA · 08/06/2019 11:32

@NoMoreFastCars82 my lower back randomly gets this siatica type pain, that stoods down my leg and I just get stuck in all kinds of places it's really achey today and I've been no where other than out for breakfast and for a little walk round b&M so it's not like I've over excepted myself! I'm seeing my midwife next week so I'm hoping she can refer me for physio just hoping I'm not getting PGP or SP or somthing.

Saying that I'd take everything all at once got my rainbow! Xox

NoMoreFastCars82 · 08/06/2019 11:43

@TheOnlyMrsA everything crossed here for you that midwife can sort that. Let us know how it goes 👍🏻

And I agree, some parts of pregnancy are awful I'm finding, but I wouldn't have it any other way. As long as my flump is ok I'll endure it all x

plipliop · 08/06/2019 11:50

@mynameisMrG did you sort out things with DH?

MummyBearBoo · 08/06/2019 11:55

Apparently at 8+5 the baby is only the size of a jelly bean so my bump's probably not that I think it's water retention! Xxx

MrsM18 · 08/06/2019 12:39

@Camomila my daughter is 22 months and still feeding, I'm not sure what to do? I've found it's really hurting when she latches on recently - she's had loads of new teeth so not sure if she's being a bit lazy & her teeth are getting in the way or they're just more sensitive because of the pregnancy? I think maybe try weaning on her 2nd birthday x

MummyBearBoo · 08/06/2019 12:56

@MrsM18 -it's probably both - my boobs are so painful I can imagine having a baby latching on while they're like this taking my bra off hurts so much I have to wear a sports bra at night!! Xx

mynameisMrG · 08/06/2019 13:07

I did thank you @plipliop, apparently a pregnant woman crying was enough to get an apology... though it was my fault but we won’t worry about that 😂

Sickness is back with a vengeance, I couldnt of looked at a Toby carvery never mind eat buffet 😭😭😭. I've had super noodles for lunch and now can't move off the sofa.

MummyBearBoo · 08/06/2019 13:23

Same @McHelenz-been feeling sick in the evening but not had morning sickness since Monday I can't move off the sofa, had no breakfast and had cereal for my lunch! Xx

McHelenz · 08/06/2019 13:26

@mummybearboo I was getting better but it's back 😭😭. It's just constant, I've been prescribed cyclizine so might take one if it doesn't get better.

Mirana · 08/06/2019 14:09

Do any of you find yourselves gagging or wretching when you dont even feel that sick? I've noticed the past few days, silly things like needing to sneeze I'll start gagging instead. It's like I have the most sensitive gag reflex in the world!

Ann334 · 08/06/2019 14:25

@mirana totally get that. Just feel queasy all the time, but of course I’m still grateful, just gets you down you know?!
I’m 6+4 and just booked a camping trip for a months time, am I insane?
Praying the sickness passes by then or I’ll be looking for a hotel

Ann334 · 08/06/2019 14:27

Or just set up camp in a tobi carvery by the sounds of it.

Bluebelltulip · 08/06/2019 14:33

Mirana I've got a cough atm which sets me off gagging nearly everytime.

McHelenz · 08/06/2019 14:41

@Ann334 we are going camping in a week. 🙈🙈.

NoMoreFastCars82 · 08/06/2019 14:47

@Mirana yep!! End up gagging at the stupidest of things... sneezing and coughing definitely two of them or if someone on tv even pretend gags I'm gone too 🤢

Ann334 · 08/06/2019 15:08

@mchelenz where are you going? We have booked for croyd. Let me know how you get on!
Dreading putting on a swimsuit. hoping I’ll look pregnant but in reality I’ll still be this bloated bag of cellulite. AND I’m gonna have to shave ugh

DinoGreen · 08/06/2019 15:27

@Ann334 and @McHelenz we’re going camping next weekend too! We bought loads of camping gear before we got our BFP and now I feel like we have to go soon before I get big! We’re going to the New Forest. Fingers crossed for good weather. It will be my DS (3) first time camping!

AstroKate · 08/06/2019 15:31

Hi all, hope everyone's holding up ok? I've got my 12 week scan appt which is luckily before our holidays.

They are also screening for preeclampsia too - the midwife did mention this too me.

This seems to be relatively new it seems? Have anyone else had this? Combination of bloods a few days before and blood flow to the womb via the scan

Fivebyfive2 · 08/06/2019 15:40

Hi all, I don't post on here too much as I find it hard to keep up! But just dropping in to say, we had an early scan today because of the miscarriage earlier this year. Baby doing absolutely fine; strong heartbeat, brain development, did a little wriggle and even measuring a day ahead so am apparently 9 weeks bang on 😃

DaisyMay25 · 08/06/2019 16:10

@TheOnlyMrsA that potato stuff is the best, my tiny is too far away otherwise I'd probably be there at least once a week!

After saying I was starting to feel fine again my nausea is back, along with light headed ness
Had a stew in the slow cooker for six hours yesterday (with dumplings, cauliflower cheese and garlic cabbage) and just before it was done my nausea was unbearable and I couldn't stand up, devastated!

megganonion · 08/06/2019 16:15

Oh glad im not the knly one suffering with back pain! Not long back from football training and my back is incredibly sore. I am already referred for physio from booking in as i had pgp last pregnancy and tilted hips.
Them cheesy roastie things sound amazing.
@newbiemam best of luck for ur booking in and scan. We may end up being due date buddies!
Im 9 weeks today. Have gained almost half a stone from getting bfp Shock all around belly and hips, expecting to gain a little more this time anyways.
@fivebyfive2 that is a beautiful scan photo so clear. Congratulations x
