Brand new thread ladies! We went through the last one so fast! Let’s hope this one brings us lots of lovely scan photos.

Still paper notes over here too, I have a lovely plastic folder filled with them all! Grin

DaisyMay25 · 07/06/2019 20:17

Mine use online notes too and I haven't received the info to log in yet and it's been over a week, she said I'd get the text on the same day so I think something has gone wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️

mynameisMrG · 07/06/2019 21:02

So I picked a fight with DH tonight. No idea why. Now I’m sat upstairs feeling sorry for myself

Where I am switched to online notes very recently (still had paper ones in Jan for my daughter) but they don't give out access. I just have a cardboard slip with key info on.

SleepingStandingUp · 07/06/2019 21:48

We have online - they get you to download the app there and then if you can and give the password etc. all then. Because I have my midwife in one town and my hospital in another I have two "pregnancies" logged and all my data split over there because they don't "talk" to each other.

So I have one random piece of paper for the midwife to do my fundal measures on so I can take it to hospital for my consultant!

MrsM18 · 07/06/2019 21:49

I'm so sorry @LillyLeaf 💞

@MoominMantra why are you me 🤣 before this week I've been living on lemonade, orange juice & marmite on toast!

I really hope my notes aren't online, I'm such a horder 🙊 I still have every note from my DD pregnancy x

CatRash · 07/06/2019 22:13

So sorry to hear that@Lillyleaf. Hope you're being looked after.

I have no paper notes and no online access either?! The midwife said they no longer use paper notes as it's all done electronically but didn't mention about me having access to it. I didn't really think anything of it at the time!

Oh well, will ask during my 16 week appointment and ask my preggo friend when I "come out".

MummyBearBoo · 07/06/2019 23:11

I have paper notes but the initial questionnaire was l'll filled in online I'm consultant led though so not sure if it is all electronic I see the consultant on Tuesday xx

NoMoreFastCars82 · 08/06/2019 07:42

@SleepingStandingUp I've got the same so will have 2 midwifes and one does paper notes and the hospital does online so I'm sure I'm just gonna get confused with all this! Confused

Bad enough that when I went through my paper notes after I left, my midwife had never asked me who 'Steve' was as next of kin but had put my partner who's the dad and my own dad also thankfully... Cos steve is my ex and now Cos he was next of kin he's on my preg notes haha! I was like, that's typical... he got around everywhere else so why not my notes too lol!! Grin

NewbieMam · 08/06/2019 08:58

2 minutes away from the hospital (could literally see the hospital) and get a call to say midwife called in sick so they have to rearrange my booking in appointment :( they have availability tomorrow same time but now I'm worried incase same thing happens tomorrow

megganonion · 08/06/2019 09:07

@newbiemam thats awful! Such short notice, have you got ur scan today or is it tomorrow? X

NewbieMam · 08/06/2019 09:33

@megganonion private scan tomorrow too! So now booking in at 9:15 then private scan 3pm! I'll be knackered I already want a nap today 😂

TheOnlyMrsA · 08/06/2019 09:39

my midwife said I'd have all my notes for work to back up my appointment as she wasn't sending me an appointment letter. I'll deal with her directly to book my appointments not the booking in team so I don't get letters from the hospital!

How are we all today?

I'm about to go to Toby carvary for breakfast as all I can think about is the cheesey potato thing they do from the left over roasties 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

TheOnlyMrsA · 08/06/2019 09:41

@NoMoreFastCars82 my brother was still my next of kin until very recently so I'm sure his name my pop up on my notes

NoMoreFastCars82 · 08/06/2019 09:49

@TheOnlyMrsA what cheese things do they do with the left over roasties???? That sounds amazing!!! Do all tobys do it? Grin

And yeah you forget I suppose what details your surgery hold for you until something like pregnancy happens... thank god my partner found it funny that the ex is next to his name on my notes lol... I was a little mortified so it's deffo getting removed at next appointment!!

mynameisMrG · 08/06/2019 09:56

I got woken by my DS shouting ‘look mummy, a hat!’ While he pranced by my bed with my bra on his head.

Nice to wake up smiling as yesterday was a bit of a shit day

KatiePix · 08/06/2019 10:04

Hope everyone's scans go well today. A friend gave me some crystallised ginger to suck yesterday and has really helped with the sickness! Totally recommend it to anyone struggling.

Also, I'm intrigued if other new mums are starting to notice a little pregnancy bump? I'm 7w6d and can definitely see a little bump- could be the little mean or all the toast I've been scoffing! Grin

NewbieMam · 08/06/2019 10:09

@TheOnlyMrsA omg those potato things 😍 there's a Toby carvery right across from my local hospital... If my appointment gets cancelled again tomorrow I'm definitely going now! I've been thinking about it anyway since I drove past this morning 🤤

TheOnlyMrsA · 08/06/2019 10:22

TOBY CARVEY BREAKFASTS ARE A PREGNANT WOMANS HEAVEN 😍😍

My husband has discovered today nothing
Moves as quickly as a woman in my condition on her way to the breakfast buffet 😂🤦🏻‍♀️!

@NoMoreFastCars82 they get the left over roasties, bake them with cheese, bacon and onion and serve them with breakfast ... they're honestly the greatest creation known to man.

@NewbieMam honestly they're the best thing I cried happy tears eating them and I'm not even ashamed of myself!!!

Please note the lack of eggs is due to my egg aversion atm! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ Xox

I didn’t even know carvary breakfasts were a thing! What a marvellous invention

NoMoreFastCars82 · 08/06/2019 10:28

@TheOnlyMrsA THAT looks like heaven on a plate!!! I am actually part drooling at that photo! Haha

The closest Toby is half hour from me I think 👎🏻 I may be going past one for work next week on purpose!!!

NoMoreFastCars82 · 08/06/2019 10:30

@mynameisMrG How old is DS? 😂

@KatiePix even if it is the toast it makes you feel happier doesn't it... I think mine is Chinese and bread but I'm going to pretend it's flump and not my crazy appetite 😂

Camomila · 08/06/2019 10:39

DS made DM buy me a bra in Asda recently...he was in the underwear aisle going 'look! for boobies. mummy has boobies!'
Is anyone still breastfeeding an older DC? DS has just turned 3 and I'm trying to wean him asap so he won't end up resenting the baby for stealing them!

All I'm managing to eat atm is carbs and fruit. Unfortunately it's all the expensive fruit like berries (as it's nice and juicy and i'm struggling to drink)

mynameisMrG · 08/06/2019 10:49

He’s nearly 3 @NoMoreFastCars82 😂😂

OP posts:
TheOnlyMrsA · 08/06/2019 11:06

@NoMoreFastCars82 do it you'll be impressed!

Is anyone else getting backache already?! Of all the things to get ... id take nausea over my husband having to lift me out of the bath so soon hahah
