Brand new thread ladies! We went through the last one so fast! Let’s hope this one brings us lots of lovely scan photos.

Checking in. I’m 7+1 according to my dates. I’ve had light pink spotting since week 5 and since yesterday it’s become a bit more but still only light pink. I’ve had tummy ache for weeks but nothing major.

I have a scan booked for this Sunday coming when I should be 8 weeks. Fingers crossed for a sticky baby 😩💕

I hate these early weeks. I’ve previously had a miscarriage but 18 years ago and have since had 3 healthy babies. It’s just a worry

MoominMantra · 03/06/2019 09:49

@MummyBearBoo usually feeling ill in the first trimester is a sign that things are going well but every pregnancy really is different.

TheOnlyMrsA · 03/06/2019 09:55

Hey ladies just want to check in.

I've had some very light spotting over the last 12 hours ... it's only there when I wipe and not every time I wipe, it's a pinky and occasionally brown coloured. It's barely noticeable. I showed my husband the tissue (I know vile) and he was like 'there's nothing there' ... so I'm having my scan today instead of Thursday.

Praying for my baby to stick, after everything I've already been through.

I'm 6+4 today. Pray for me, send me baby dust and all that jazz! Xoxox

mynameisMrG · 03/06/2019 10:05

I think we are @KMic, I’m 9 weeks tomorrow. It’s just frustrating, want it to stop now.

Lovely scan @Sunshine3105 😊

Good luck@TheOnlyMrsA, sending baby dust your way!

@mynameisMrG I hear ya!! These first 12 weeks are just so hard!!! X

MoominMantra · 03/06/2019 10:20

I'm also 9 weeks tomorrow!

LillyLeaf · 03/06/2019 10:24

I managed to get my booking appointment changed so I'll be 8+1. They had taken my embryo transfer day as my LMP so had my dates wrong. I really hope I make it that far this time, it was horrible cancelling the last one.

mynameisMrG · 03/06/2019 10:26

That’s much better @LillyLeaf

Good luck @TheOnlyMrsA!

@LillyLeaf I've had a few symptoms, nausea and a couple of vomiting episodes (but was fine yesterday), sore boobs and tired. The nausea is up and down, I keep panicking my symptoms are gone and a few hours later I'm laid up feeling rough! Are you experiencing much yet?

I am crapping myself about the scan, 3 previous losses and I've never seen a heartbeat on any ultrasound. 6+5 may still be too early so I might be walking into even more anxiety, but my scan at 4+5 showed nothing but a tiny fluid sac so they have to check. Churns my stomach every time I think about it. Are you nervous? My main worry is that it won't have developed and it will still be that tiny empty sac sat there. My bloods rose 116% in 48h which indicates all was okay but you never know. Not enjoying early pregnancy at all! Great news they moved your booking in though, that must ease your mind!

LillyLeaf · 03/06/2019 11:18

@Mirana I've had a few waves of mild nausea but not sure if I'm just desperately trying to feel something. I'm so nervous about the scan, I keep having flash backs to last time when the doctor couldn't see the heartbeat anymore and the room was silent, totally freaks me out. Can't wait for it to be over.

Bentley111 · 03/06/2019 12:12

Our local clinic has just popped up on Facebook with a cancellation for tomorrow- £40 for a viability scan 😬

Booked it. DH isn't too happy though and thinks it's a waste of money but I am so excited!

anitagreen · 03/06/2019 12:22

I've got a scan booked tomorrow I should be 8+6 due to some spotting and back pain all passed now though and nothing since, I also saw my GP today who sent of my booking in referral forms again and weighed me and I've lost 8lbs I'm hoping my weight goes how it did in my other pregnancies, I lost 4 stone with my son and 2 stone with my daughter the sickness has died down but it's the nausea that I hate.
Also does anyone start eating something then half way through you just don't want it anymore? I had some lovely sweet potato wedges and steak for dinner started eating it and realised I didn't actually like or want them anymore what a waste Sad.

anitagreen · 03/06/2019 12:22

@Bentley111 that's the type of thing I'd do lol good luck x

Bentley111 · 03/06/2019 12:45

Thanks @anitagreen 😬 good luck for yours too 🤞🏼

MummyBearBoo · 03/06/2019 12:48

I can't eat steak coz your supposed to have it well done and it's just not as nice as a lovely medium rare steak!! Im struggling to eat full stop 8 weeks today and I just feel sick forl most of the day! Xx

coconutlatte44 · 03/06/2019 13:27

Good luck @TheOnlyMrsA. I had similar pink spotting and ended up being ok so hope it's the same for you.

anitagreen · 03/06/2019 13:32

@TheOnlyMrsA good luck x

MummyBearBoo · 03/06/2019 13:50

Good luck @TheOnlyMrsA xxx

Cindy61 · 03/06/2019 13:55

@anitagreen I'm exactly the same! I'm so happy to have what I want to eat but half way through I just can't have any more. I've explained this to DH, it's really not his cooking. Grin

anitagreen · 03/06/2019 13:57

@Cindy61 Haha I'm glad I'm not alone it's so annoying I've picked Gammon and pineapple for dinner tonight but I bet when it's cooked it'll be left to waste AGAIN. Argh! X

TheOnlyMrsA · 03/06/2019 14:27

Update ladies - we've got w strong heartbeat and a very positive consultant 😍😍! She recommended I book in with the Midwife's for antenatal care (I'm already on the books waiting for formal booking in appt) so I'm taking that as a good sign xox

TheOnlyMrsA · 03/06/2019 14:28

This is my little bean 😍💕

@TheonlymrsA how brilliant!! Lovely scan picture!

mrscatmad31 · 03/06/2019 15:14

I'm off work sick today, not sure if it's at least partly pregnancy related or not, just feel really rough and have an upset stomach. I often have digestive issues anyway and I did eat bread yesterday which I'm not supposed to eat. I told two close friends today as I reasoned if something went wrong I would tell them anyway! 6 + 2 weeks today but it's starting to feel a bit more real now

mumfirstime · 03/06/2019 15:32
