@MrsM18 beautiful scan!!

@Lillyleaf our dates match exactly and I'm due a scan on Friday too, good luck!

Had an afternoon nap and the STRANGEST dream. I was a villager with 4 horses (in medieval times) and they got taken away to the village vet. When I got there I could only remember 2 of my horses and they both had psoriasis from being washed in soap?! Lots of random convos happened, then our village got raided by like Vikings who set fire to everything, and I escaped on the beach on horseback with 2 of my horses. The Vikings couldn't chase me as their horses weren't trained to run on sand like mine???

Never owned a horse, haven't ridden since I was about 7 years old at pony parties 😂😂

MoominMantra · 02/06/2019 19:47

I'm glad your scan went well @MrsM18 Smile

I've had sex despite feeling like a fat lump. Actually it made me feel better 🧐

MoominMantra · 02/06/2019 19:47

Oh god I keep having the weirdest, most bizarre dreams as well !!

KMic · 02/06/2019 20:08

Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been off radar - I'm actually in holiday ... I'm 8 weeks today based on dates ... but I've noticed some spotting in my knickers this eve ..... has anyone else had this at 8 weeks??

mynameisMrG · 02/06/2019 20:19

I’ve heard that some people get spotting or bleeding around the time their period would be due @KMic. Could it be that?

@mynameisMrG thanks, yeah I have wondered if it's that ... but obvs just fearing the worst. Going to call the EPU as soon as I get home from Majorca on Wednesday and go for another scan!

saltandvinegar1 · 02/06/2019 22:12

@KMic hey I've had spotting at 7 weeks

KMic · 02/06/2019 22:18

What sort is colour was it @saltandvinegar1 ?

MummyBearBoo · 03/06/2019 06:03

I had a girl my hair is already thick and my skin is normally dry but when I had her my hair grew faster ( and went Frizzy) and my skin was great!
@Mirana - you don't usually get the pregnancy glow til the second trimester! I also had tons of energy in the second trimester and all my symptoms got better except the sore boobs!
I felt my most ill yesterday I felt sick all day even from just sitting up I was gipping! Kinda happy today tho it's my 8 week mark / my NHS dating scan next week and I was reading that at 8 weeks the chance of miscarriage significantly reduces to about 5% from 25%! Xx

Bentley111 · 03/06/2019 07:19

@SleepingStandingUp that's what I'm concerned about Blush

8 weeks today based on LMP - it was 8 weeks exactly that I mc'd at last time round so very much keen to just get today safely out of the way 🙏🏼

saltandvinegar1 · 03/06/2019 07:25

@KMic it was brown and I had it the first time with my daughter xx

Morris26 · 03/06/2019 07:27

I'm 5+6 according to lmp, I'm hoping to get an early scan next week as going to see my parents on fathers day so want to give them the news all going well. It's probably a little earlier than I would have had a scan but want to do it before visiting them. Is 6+6 / 7@ weeks too early for a scan? Don't want to scare myself if they can't see heartbeat. This is my first and its taken us 2 years 8 months to get to this point so really keeping our fingers crossed!!

KMic · 03/06/2019 07:28

Thanks @saltandvinegar1 ... this was almost a light brown. Still crapping myself!

mynameisMrG · 03/06/2019 08:50

I’ve had another load of brown blood this morning. Two weeks of it now. I swear if this baby gets to term I will have having strong words with it at the other end!

@Mirana how do you feel about your scan? I'm so nervous, not sure how I'll make it to Friday without loosing my mind. Do you have many symptoms?

KMic · 03/06/2019 09:08

@mynameisMrG how far are you along? I think we are in the same boat! X

MoominMantra · 03/06/2019 09:17

Are any of you rhesus negative? I'm worried because I didn't have anti d after dd3 was born. I was so convinced I wouldn't have any more children that I didn't have it. If anything goes wrong I will blame myself. I've got my booking appointment on Wednesday so I guess I can discuss with the midwife then.

MoominMantra · 03/06/2019 09:19

@mynameisMrG poor you, you've had such a rough ride. Here's to hoping the second trimester is better for you!

DaisyMay25 · 03/06/2019 09:27

@MoominMantra I am! I don't know my exact type but both my parents are so I have to be, midwife took blood to test it to make sure. I'm not sure about having the injection after baby is born I thought it was just offered at various parts of pregnancy?

KMic · 03/06/2019 09:32

@MoominMantra I am too! Had an MMC last time though so didn't have any anti d after, too early to know at this point.

I have a second scan at the EPU booked for weds afternoon when I'm home from holiday! X

Cannyhandleit · 03/06/2019 09:35

I am rhesus negative, you only need it after birth if baby is positive.

Cannyhandleit · 03/06/2019 09:36

@KMic you wouldn't have it after an early miscarriage you only get it if you are passed a certain number of weeks but I can't remember how many.

KMic · 03/06/2019 09:41

@Cannyhandleit ahh that's all good then. X

MummyBearBoo · 03/06/2019 09:42

It depends on the blood type of the baby if they're the same as you you might not need anti-D if they're a positive they do usually give it after your first child as your body will have built up anti-bodies against a foreign blood type but I think you can have it while you're pregnant. My mum had my younger sister ok and they forgot to give her the anti-D after us!
I am totally panicking has anyone had one really good first trimester with no symptoms except sore boobs and one really shitty one with loads of feeling sick and feeling faint but had 2 healthy babies? I am proper scared coz with DD I had a great first trimester but with My little boy who I had to have a TFMR for I had an awful first trimester- this one is looking like it's going to be equally as bad and I'm worried it means the baby will be too poorly to keep too! I have a 1 in 2 chance of this baby being affected by a medical condition that would make it incompatible with life and have to have another TFMR so would like to know if anyone has had 1 good trimester and 1 bad but healthy babies both times? Xxx

Sunshine3105 · 03/06/2019 09:47
