My skin and hair are actually better than pre-pregnancy. Nightmares continue even it's only an afternoon nap.

Sex drive is lower. I only suggested it once after finding out. But DH was so afraid it might cause any bleeding. So we put it off to the 12 week mark. Blush

Cindy61 · 02/06/2019 14:26

@Mirana I have a pair of skinny jeans I really like. But it starts to give me marks on the bump at the end of the day. I'm going to let it go. 😌

MoominMantra · 02/06/2019 14:42

I've now got sickness and headache :(

Unexpectedthird27 · 02/06/2019 14:47

Hello. Hope it is okay to join here. I'm just under 7 weeks now with a very unexpected and unplanned number three.

AstroKate · 02/06/2019 14:48

Although I'm not pleased to hear others are suffering with skin problems, I am pleased I'm not alone!!

My midwife said it's more common than nausea but I think she may have just been making me feel better!

I have rosacea anyway so think it's made it worse but it's been TERRIBLE since 6 week mark-patchy dry scaley bits, redness in places, pimples clustered. Luckily my DH is lovely and making me feel better but I earner go out in public. Thank goodness I'm able to work from home on occasion!

plipliop · 02/06/2019 15:02

Nausea is back...

DH and I haven't had Alex since BFP.
Not feeling very sexy! Bloated and nauseous is not that attractive Grin

plipliop · 02/06/2019 16:27

Haven't had Alex????

That was meant to be sex!

MrsM18 · 02/06/2019 16:46

My little bean dated 8+3 ☺️

We haven't dtd either, just can't bring myself to it - and so paranoid! I reckon we'll do it as a celebration after 12 week scan 😂

I really don’t want to go back to work tomorrow. This is such a long half term 😕

@mynameisMrG 😩😫😩😫😩😫

SleepingStandingUp · 02/06/2019 17:42

MrG I think it's cos the last one was literally 5 minutes long too!! What do you teach?

SleepingStandingUp · 02/06/2019 17:44

Apparently bad skin and hair means a girl because they "steal your beauty"

Anyone do any old fashioned wives tales sex testing with previous pregnancies? I peed into baking powder and it was right 😂😂

Bentley111 · 02/06/2019 17:47

I've heard that too @SleepingStandingUp

I've got lovely skin Blush but my hair is awful, so lank and greasy. Wonder what that means... a boy with good hair? 😂

SleepingStandingUp · 02/06/2019 17:58

one of each??

DinoGreen · 02/06/2019 18:15

@AstroKate fellow rosacea sufferer here and my skin is very dry. I’m in a vicious circle of wearing tons of make up to cover it up, which in turn is then probably making it worse. My last pregnancy I had beautiful glowing skin, but I didn’t have rosacea then - it only started about a year ago 🙄 maybe I’ll get to the glowing stage in a few more weeks.

LillyLeaf · 02/06/2019 18:22

6 weeks for me today. Not many symptoms, just tired. I had terrible skin last time (MC), lots of spots but I'm on steroids this time due to allergies (during IVF) and it seems have helped my skin too. Roll on Friday for my scan, that's only when I'll believe something is in there, also dreading it.

mynameisMrG · 02/06/2019 18:24

I don’t teach anymore @SleepingStandingUp I’m the senco, which does mean I can hide in the office for most of the day I guess.

When I was pregnant last time someone looked at me and said ‘oh you must be having a girl as they steal your beauty.’.... I had a boy. I was just clearly having an ugly day 😂😂😂

Mumof4andahalf · 02/06/2019 18:35

@mynameisMrG I'm back to school tomorrow too 😕 dreading this last term it's always the toughest

AstroKate · 02/06/2019 18:53

Oh complete and utter snap @DinoGreen . Tonnes of make up to cover it for work and then horrendous outbreaks so having to go make up free at home to let it calm down.

Mine also started a few years ago. So annoying.

I have a strong feeling it's a girl so the old wives tale may just be correct!

mynameisMrG · 02/06/2019 18:55

I’m dreading it too @Mumof4andahalf. It’s just always hot and long and the kids have had enough. Throw feeling sick and tired into the mix and it doesn’t bode well.

However, we should have a great six week break as we will be into the second trimester and feeling a lot better! That’s what I’m hoping for anyway 😊

Mumof4andahalf · 02/06/2019 19:11

@mynameisMrG yes that's what I'm hoping for, I love the summer normally but not when I'm feeling sick, dizzy and full of hay fever! Will all be worth it in January! X

mynameisMrG · 02/06/2019 19:14

This is my third summer in four years that I have been pregnant. Fingers crossed it’s the last as it’s not that enjoyable

All the old wives tales pointed to me having a boy last time and I had a girl, tbh this pregnancy feels very similar so far although I’m definitely more nauseous and tired. I don’t have a strong feeling either way so will be exciting to find out.

I’m looking forward to never being pregnant again if I’m honest 😬
