I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

Thank you @Bostonfern and @MinnieLou :) I've been stalking this thread for weeks but couldn't bring myself to comment until now!

Welcome, @Pocopearl3 and @Joanna0x ! Congratulations! @Joanna0x we have a very similar EDD- the doctor said roughly 13th December based on my LMP alone but taking into account that I have longer cycles and know when I ovulated it would be more likely the 16th will be my EDD when everything is measured up at scan.

Oh the nausea is fierce these last few days, everyone! Highly unpleasant.

@starrynights86 We have told our parents and siblings for a few reasons. I knew I would want my mam's advice and reassurance from the start so that was that. Then we also considered who we wanted to feel part of the journey from the beginning and weighed that up against who we wouldn't mind knowing if something went wrong, or even who we would need for support. From there we decided on telling all parents and siblings. We also told a couple who are very close friends as we were going away with them for the weekend and it would have been very hard to hide between not drinking and suddenly getting hit by morning sickness! Additionally, they will be with us at a wedding of mutual friends next weekend and can help us hide it as I wouldn't want to share more widely. I have told my yoga teacher for safety just in case, and two friends from work who will be able to help me and check in with me if needed. I'm a teacher like many here and I imagine it's not too different in the UK - on a busy day, it can be tough to get a bathroom break and sometimes to get lunch, and I need to ensure I do that so they will be around if needed!
Not sure that's the right thing to do, but it felt right for me!

We are out. Scan at EPU today confirmed baby has no heartbeat 😔 back in on Friday and Saturday for bloods and medication to speed things up. Devastated doesn’t even cover it.

BostonFern · 23/04/2019 16:05

Oh @Lozzlepop I'm so, so sorry to hear that x

MinnieLou · 23/04/2019 18:16

I'm so sorry @Lozzlepop 🥺 if you don't mind me asking what made you go to epu? Did you have your private scan Saturday?
Please take care 💜

Sweetpeace · 23/04/2019 18:17

So sorry @Lozzlepop Sad

SideEyeing · 23/04/2019 18:30

@Lozzlepop Flowers I'm so sorry. There are no words for how shit this must feel. Please take care of yourself and let yourself be cared for too.

Fuiseog · 23/04/2019 18:35

I'm so sorry, @Lozzlepop xx

Lozzlepop · 23/04/2019 19:36

@MinnieLou yes we had our private scan on Saturday which showed no heartbeat but the NHS won’t go on a private scan and need to do their own (also just good to double check these things) which sadly confirmed the findings of Saturday. I’ve had no pain or bleeding so going back to the hospital Fri and Sat to get medication to speed things up. Thanks so much for all your support and kind words, I really hope that you all have healthy pregnancies and go on to have beautiful babies and I know that we will get there, it just wasn’t our time ❤️

jinglybell · 23/04/2019 20:45

Evening ladies, hope everyone is well today!

I saw my gp today - im 16dpo and getting faint positives on one brand of test but did a frer and got a bfn Sad

It's really strange, my period is late, no signs of af. Gp wants to do a blood test so im having that tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

MinnieLou · 23/04/2019 22:16

@Lozzlepop oh I see, sorry 🥺 it's good that they double check. Please take care 💜

@jinglybell fingers crossed for you, it's unusual to get a positive even if it is faint if you're not but common to get a negative although you are!
It all depends on the test/time of day etc.
Glad your doctor is doing blood test to make sure, please let us know 😊 x

Beaglemum93 · 23/04/2019 23:02

Fingers crossed everything is ok @jinglybell

Pocopearl3 · 23/04/2019 23:51

Sorry @lozzlepop x
Look after yourself xxx

BostonFern · 24/04/2019 07:57

Fingers crossed for you @jinglybell

Oh dear
TMI alert
Bad stomach pains and diarrhoea. Is this a thing or have I eaten something dodgy?
😭😭😭😭
Almost 7 weeks

BostonFern · 24/04/2019 10:01

@windysowindy could it be your vitamins? I worked out that mine would give me an upset stomach if I didn't have them on a very full stomach.

OP posts:
Joanna0x · 24/04/2019 10:02

@windysowindy I'm 7+2 and was the same yesterday! I've been the same in all my pregnancies apparently it's just how some women respond

windysowindy · 24/04/2019 10:11

@BostonFern I have been taking the same vits for a long time though.
@Joanna0x oh great another wonderful pregnancy gift 😭😭😭
I am struggling with exhaustion 😭

Pocopearl3 · 24/04/2019 10:21

I swear my vitamins are making me feel worse. I’m using pregnacare can anyone recommend anything better

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 24/04/2019 12:24

@Pocopearl3 my midwife said I all I actually needed was folic acid and vitamin d so I just take the 2 of those now. Before that I had Asda's own brand pregnancy vitamins that were fine too.
